This is a pretty cool little store. The prices are a little high but very nice and unique gifts.The store is very clean, every part of it. The bathrooms are very nice.The food was great!The one thing that I would complain about is in the sitting area, the dining chairs are super loud. Maybe put some rubber bottoms on those chairs.

1st time here ! Like the other reviews, this place is great . I ordered the Chooped Beef sammich, and it came with pinto beans . Jalapeño Cheddar sausage link . 3 Chopped Beef tacos for later . I will say the Chopped Beef sammich was on point !!! Very good . To be honest, it was all good . I'm very pleased I stopped by here . I come through here ever so often and will be back . Soo good !!! I also bought a wedge of Wisconsin cheese and Peppered Pork Tenderloin .Hope to see ya on the road !Like and follow for more .

Such a cool find for us on a very long drive. There was so much to see and buy in this little themed place. There was plenty of parking even though there were quite a few people in the store. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food selection (packaged and fresh) was exceptional and of good value. The bathrooms were very good and clean. Lighting in the store was great. Drink selections were very good and adequately priced compared to the region. We will be stopping in every time we travel this route!

It's like an adult foodie paradise. I do not think there is enough time in a day to look at everything this place has to offer.All i can say is that from the time you walk in and do some shopping, the staff is amazing, friendly, and so kind. The place has a solid country store vibe and is kept very clean.The food is on point, from boudin to jerkey, pies to pasta.. its a foodie paradise.I'm looking forward to stopping in again on my way through.

I stopped by for the fudge, but I'll most definitely be heading towards the meats the next time I stop there, but the Rocky Road....OMG! I wanted to turn my car around and go get some more after I had finished the first one within seconds of driving off.Second visit buys: Brisket, bacon wrapped quail, cheesecake slice, German chocolate slice, and more fudge. I feel like I see gained 5 pounds just from today's visit lol.

This is my absolute favorite stop for food, bathrooms, and drinks. They have coffee and cappuccino even though it isn't listed as having coffee.They have all the best snacks! Their bbq is excellent! I like their mufaletta and I've bought some of the exotic Jerry's. I've bought the Garlic pickles which I like, their baked goods are ok. The blueberry loaf is dense and good with coffee, the pie I tried was a very sweet. It's a mom and pop version of buccees but it's very well done and more variety on the food available. You can buy meat to take home as well.Parking: We have never had any trouble parking with a large trailer, but it's not a big enough parking lot to accommodate more than one or two big trucks and trailers comfortably.

Brisket is blah, not really smoked more like oven.Would not recommend the cream of corn, Mac and cheese or the beans.The ribs and shrimp jalapeño popper were the best out of all.

One of my favorite places in the country to stop. Seems few and far between anymore where Truckers feel welcome. I almost always stop when passing by and buy too much canned stuff.Top 5 BBQ that a Truckers can get to- and that's top 5 country wide (ive checked Canada there's none up there). All the fellow drivers I know when you ask about good BBQ all of them say wood's.Truck parking can be ruff- the hill up to the fuel island im sure has blown a rookies clutch at least once. But parking is decent.All around great place staffed with awesomely friendly people.

I love this place. Always gotta stop here. Best in-house jerky, best pickled products. Love the spicy quail eggs.If you are thinking about stopping here, do it. You won't regret a single thing about this place.Wonderful bathrooms, always clean.Wonderful selection of drinks and fountain drinks.Wide selection of foods from the deli to the pickled.Always looking forward to Woody's on my trips.Wheelchair accessibility: A really nice ramp up to the door. Not too steep.

Oh man, I love this place.We haul fine automobiles for a living and it's always a treat to park here. Which is not often enough. Staff always friendly and professional. So many neat things to buy for gifts and oh my oh my, the BBQ. This time I bought chopped brisket to take back to Florida and BBQ sauce and more. Thanks for everything ya'll.

If your heading down to Houston from Dallas, there's a true to Texas Barbeque place in Centerville, Texas. First visit here to Woody's Smokehouse (Southbound) and it was a delightful surprise. Didn't expect much, but was well surprised. Tried their sliced beef and ribs. Both were excellent. Their suace was also great. Their chicken was excellent also. Don't forget to try their cream corn, which is excellent. By the way, they have plenty of jerky, and boudain too. Also noteworthy if your going home, then make sure you take home some Elk Sausage and Bison.

We made a restroom stop and ended up with a flag pole holder and watermelon sours, which my husband states are delicious. The place has a barbeque restaurant, many kinds of fudge and pastries in addition to many, many packaged specialties. Very cutely decorated and very clean. My new favorite stop between Dallas and Houston!

Only stopped for breakfast and gas on the way to Oklahoma. The kolaches were great. Plenty of awesome food items available and super clean restrooms. I'll be stopping on the way back for BBQ sandwiches.

We've been in Woody's many times. Restrooms are always clean, and they seem to have lots of goodies to choose from. We decided to try the BBQ. It was HORRIBLE! Who pre-slices brisket?!! I worked in a BBQ place. You would have been fired for doing that because it discolors and dries out the meat. That's exactly what happened to this brisket. They were also very skimpy on the meat compared to ANY other BBQ place we have ever gone to. I got exactly 2-1/2 slices of the brisket on my sandwich. I couldn't eat much of it because it was just that bad. What I did eat was only because I had pickles to help the flavor. My daughter got a baked potato with chopped beef on it. They don't even give you the choice of BBQ sauce or not. That includes the sliced brisket. That's just bizarre! The skin of the potato was inedible and the meat was just barely eatable. She didn't finish her food either. We were still hungry since we didn't finish our lunch, so we decided to get something sweet. The cashier talked my daughter into getting a kolache. We tried the kolache when we got to the car. It was soggy and disgusting! We each took a bite and spit it back out. NEVER AGAIN! This was so disappointing and such a waste of money!

Very cool spot with a lot to look at in store with friendly employees. Food on the other hand is sub-par. Tried the brisket/sausage sandwich, shrimp poppers, ribs and boudin ball. Sandwich 2/5 was lukewarm, shrimp poppers 1/5 (also expensive), ribs 2/5 were very dry, boudin ball 4/5 (recommend). Good pit stop but be weary of the food.

The food is ok. I had brisket. A would say it's a good value for its money. Restroom is super clean. This place reminded me luxury 7-eleven though:) I don't travel very often, so I didn't know what to expect. I think it's a good place for a quick pit stop.

This place has such a huge variety of jams, desserts and smoked meats! I never can choose what I want because of all the good choices. The ladies at the food counter are super sweet too. I order a chopped beef bbq sandwich with cheese sausage and almond cheesecake. Mmmm.

Stopped here to pump some gas and use the restrooms. Restrooms are SUPER clean and it even has a kid friendly section, which is so cute! The store has SO MANY cute things to buy, is clean not crowded and good service, I'm glad we stopped here!

This was some really, top quality BBQ! I just got me a pound of well marbled, barbecue brisket. It was excellent to say the least, but what really got it off what is the cream jalapeño corn. Never had found that anywhere else. My wife got the stuffed baked potato. She failed to be able to stuff it down so we’re taking half of it home. The service was also excellent, I recommend you stop here next time you’re in Centerville because I know I will.

This place is truly great. I have enjoyed stopping at this location for many years! I love looking around at all the wonderful decor as well as the snack options and preserves! Restrooms are clean and well stocked. I truly LOVE this store. I'm ready to go back and try some BBQ, or fudge....or jerky. (Both have been excellent in the past) I didn't get to this time because I'd just had a big breakfast.This review is edited because my sister lost her gas from pump 21 at the OTHER location across the highway. (She mistakenly told them 7) We stopped at this location in the morning going to Crockett...and had no problems whatsoever! I really really appreciate both locations. Better place to stop than many other "pit stops".
