They have truck parking in the back. That was my concern so almost didn’t stop here. But turn in and come to the back to park. Lot spots available. The place and food was good and after certain time they have deals! The ribs and brisket sandwich is very yummy! Got it and feel in love! I always try the meat. This is for the location on the East side of 45.First visit and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered brisket and spare ribs with a side of pinto beans. Everything was made well and tasted good. The brisket was a little salty, in my opinion. The spare ribs were not falling off the bone tender, but still enjoyed them. The barbeque sauce was good. Personally, I like my sauce to be spicy. This wasn't. Don't get me wrong, I would gladly stop again and eat their barbeque. The store side had many options for drinks and snacks. The staff was great, friendly, and quick. It's definitely a place where I would make sure to stop on my way to the Houston area or on my way home.

Got here pretty late. Place closes at 9pm and we got there at 8pm. So I can’t really criticize the food that much.We tried the chopped brisket sandwich, jalapenos & shrimp popper, mac & cheese, ribs and beans.Chopped brisket sandwich was on point, very good! The other items didn’t fare too well but it was close to closing. The ribs were pretty dry.I will have to go back at a better time to try them out again and will update this review.The place is really nice. Lots of shopping and the place was really clean especially the restrooms.

Be careful with expiration dates here. Accidentally bought expired jerky twice in a row, as well as expired candy. Last time I went I wanted to give it another chance but saw that almost all of the jerky on the shelf was expired or about to expire.A week ago someone brought me a bag from there and it was expired by over a year. Gross.

A fun rustic themed restaurant, gas station and convince store. Smoked meats and the chairs are made with antlers. We had brisket and pork ribs and a small Bayou Goo pie. All of it was great. The pie was so good we got a full sized apple pie to take with us. They also have a variety of preserves. We got some strawberry jalapeño jam and apple butter and pecan pie filling. If you’re hungry and driving through this is a great place to stop.Parking: Plenty of room in the parking lot.

Bucees wishes it had what Woody's does. Stopped here on a road trip to refuel and stretch my legs. Lots of good food, clean bathrooms, AND it's NOT crowded! Truly feels like an authentic and cozy spot to stop at. All the food there looked great and I hope to try the barbecue in the future. We did buy some pastries which tasted fresh and delicious. Also have a nice selection of souvenirs and fidget toys.

This is a very good place to come to. It is like a diamond and rough. You didn't know it was here but it was well worth it. They have a nice little restaurant area. Their freezer section has tons of meats to choose from.. Lots of different canned items and some very interesting nicknames that are for Sail. I enjoyed it and I will be back. And that's not forget they have some of the best jerky you'll find.. Also the smell of meat smoking is unreal

Woody's, excellent place to enter a gas station ⛽️ . beautiful decoration! … I felt like a child exploring the entire store! and I bought some chocolate candies, they were delicious! although they are very, very, very, very, too much sugar for my taste…. beautiful decoration. and the cheeses and charcuterie looked divine ! … the bathroom is nice. I hope to stop by here again when I go to Texas Houston

What a waste of money! We’ve stopped at Woodys many times and enjoyed some of the best kolaches around. But this past week what we bought, was inedible. The dough was yeasty tasting. The filling was dry. The dough was so thick it was impossible to swallow and left a very icky after taste. Just gross! Our dogs even refused to eat it, so $45 worth of food went in the trash. We will not be back.

Woody Smokehouse is an unexpected gem of a gas station that offers so much more than just fuel. The cleanliness of the restrooms is impressive, making for a comfortable pit stop. The selection of canned goodies available is extensive and diverse, offering something for everyone. The real highlight, however, is the barbecue they sell. The bacon-wrapped quail is a standout dish that is simply out of this world. The store also boasts a fantastic selection of exotic Jerkey, which is perfect for snacking on the go. Overall, Woody Smokehouse is a must-visit for anyone traveling through the area, even if just to fill up their tank and grab a quick bite.

We stopped here for a meal on the way to Beaumont. We read good reviews and thought we would give it a try. It is a neat and clean building with a Buccees feel. The bbq was very dry and overcooked. The best item we had was the bacon wrapped shrimp. The German sausage had a good flavor but very dry. The big turn off after paying $37 for some dry bbq was they wanted to charge .50 cents to each of us for a cup for water. I will not recommend nor would I return.

You’ve got to check out Woody’s! Super clean store with a great selection of goodies. I LOVE their display of faith and support of our troops!!!The BBQ is pretty good. Could have been a little warmer for my liking but the taste and tenderness was spot on. My favorite was the bacon wrapped shrimp jalapeño! They have a great selection of jerky and sausages and if you have a sweet tooth you can’t go wrong in the bakery.The service is super friendly and the restrooms are very clean. A must stop!!

Food is good, and the staff is friendly, but they’re a bit pricey and stingy with the beans that go with the bbq you just ordered at lot of. The guy wanted to serve me two little containers of beans for 4 people. These containers were for 1 person each, if you look at things that way. But the places that let you have all the beans you want, don’t fear their profits suffer from that. Those places offer the featured items so good, it draws huge crowds of guests all day long every day.Their potato salad portions are very small, and is mediocre.But some of their snack products are pretty good… still small.

First the managers here at both stores are just incredible and full of information along with being so nice! Brittany and vickie went out there way too help wotg cashapp card taking a hold of my money two days later so i assume it was the store double charging me but no it was cashapp! Dont use your cashapp card for here save yourself the headache!

Really clean place. The customers and the employees are really nice. The jerky is ok. The beef sticks are really good. The kolache are dry but has a good flavor. The store has a lot to choose from. Will stop again. Follow me for more reviews!!!!!!!!

I really don’t like to leave a bad review but staff was friendly and store is really nice that’s about all I can say. Food not so great ribs wasn’t cooked all the way 3 ribs was $20. Brisket looked like it had been there two days all dried out. Beans wasn’t fully cooked either. Pd for tea and had to drink water. Just a terrible experience. I’m sorry to leave a review like this but it’s the truth. BG

For those who like a great waystation while driving, this is the place to go. It has electric charging for Tesla in the rear while providing food and services for all travelers. This place specializes in meats and cheese either packaged or ready to eat on site. They have unique foods available alongside many name brands and a restaurant with either deli meat sandwiches or BBQ sandwiches. All the service attendants were kind and I enjoyed some southern hospitality.

We just had “dinner” at woody’s. The ribs and brisket were super dry and barely warm. The ribs tasted like they were cooked in crude oil. The sausage was ok. The coleslaw looked like someone had already eaten half of it and put it back on a shelf a week ago. To their credit they gave money back for the coleslaw. I probably should mention that it is not a restaurant, it is a deli and that turns out that Woody’s is located in a dry town.

Um.. WOW. I Coulda spent like 2 hours in here. They have all of the candy in the world and a bunch of nick nacks. The "chopped beef" is AMAZING. It is like the edges, which are the BEST. The sliced brisket is not nearly as good as the ends. I got some picked okra, which is perfect. Bought some lemon shortbread, some pecan pie, AND some bayou goo pie. They were all amazing. There was a sitting area to enjoy the chopped brisket and the delicious cole slaw. I also found the world's best half and half from Texas Tea Company. I will stop by next time I come through here. Was headed southbound, but read the reviews and crossed over to the north! 🙃
