None of my coupons were working. I scanned each item I had in my cart on the app and it came out as a completely different price on the register. I had them all downloaded and most of them didn’t end up working. I ended up taking some stuff out of the cart. Then, I had a $5 off $25 coupon I was still happy to use. Of course, didn’t work and employee didn’t know how to use. Not employees fault, she was new and not trained right. No manager around to help. So I spent more money here than I would’ve at target, Walmart, Kroger, or anywhere else. Ridiculous. Don’t come here.

I have meaning to write this review for the last few weeks seems like everytime I am there Wayne is very rude to others around customers and employees the way he talks is down grading. So many details I won’t get into but one thing he did to a few customers was ask them to write a review I understand how important reviews are, but Wayne is asking people to do the review and explaining that it has to be positive and 5 stars that is how his bonus is determined and that he really needs his bonus and just talking his little heart away. He was also saying how corporate runs things is not the right way etc. I’m write this review not to get him in trouble but maybe instead of throwing anyone into a management role maybe make sure they have the ability to manage, this includes ethics and how to treat employees/customers. When it was my time to be checked out he said hold on and he needed to go to the back and he was gone for 7mins with me waiting in him , this is after 4 people in front of me waiting for someone to finally help us in the front . It’s always a cat and mouse game when needing to be cashed out.

The exceptional employees at the Dollar General in Celina Texas always go beyond being helpful, courteous and are extremely friendly. They are very dedicated to keeping the store clean and neat. That's my favorite store to shop at. I always look forward to going there and being greeted by such wonderful employees. Your General office should be very pleased to have such pleasant employees.

Not the most tidy store. Easy enough to find what I need but not very clean. Customer service is usually below average; clerks don't know answers to questions, how to operate the register and frequently have to ask for a managers assistance. Yesterday was the worst yet. Wanted to exchange items (bc i did not have my receipt) i had purchased there but the woman at the register (Teresa) was extremely rude, refused to even attempt to help me and argued with me about where I got the items.I went through the store, picked up the exact items I was trying to return/exchange so she could see they were in fact from her store. When I went back to the register to try again she walked away from the register as if I were not even standing there! I said "excuse me, why are you ignoring me?" Her reply was a very rude "I already told you, there's nothing I can do". Poor customer service and rude people are not acceptable in my opinion. I took the bag of items I had brought in, leaving the ones I had picked up in the store on the counter. She picked up the items, chased after me and tried to give them to me as I exited the store. Clearly she had not listened or payed attention to anything I had tried to tell her about why I was there. When I said those items were from her shelves she accused me of trying to steal them!!!I recommend avoiding the poor customer service at this location and only going if necessary. Brookshires on the other hand, is only one mile away, very clean and full of friendly, courteous staff :)

One of my favorite places to shop at in Celina, Texas. The staff there are always so extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. Especially Jimmy always has a smile when he greets you as you enter the store. They all work very hard to keep the store clean and organized. It is a pleasure shopping there.

The new manager is incredibly rude. It's hit or miss with the other staff members. Some of them are super friendly & helpful, where as other's are very unpleasant. The selection is okay but the store is small & unorganized.

THE MANAGER, JIM AND EMPLOYEE, WANDA, WERE WONDERFUL. THEY HAVE THE STORE LOOKING BETTER, CLEANER & MORE ORGANIZED THAN I HAVE EVER SEEN IT IN ALL THESE YEARS IT HAS BEEN HERE.. I mean it is pretty ghetto but hell it is what you would expect. Run in there for candy and after school drinks. Stay away from the back. Seems pretty sketchy.

They have things on sale and when you go to buy them they do not honour the sale and it clearly States on the little signs that it's the product or buying that is on sale
