I can't say enough great things about this place. Staff are compassionate and super helpful. I have never had to wait long to get an appointment and in office wait time is minimal. Services are affordable and staff is super-quick trimming my cat nails. He never dreads going. This is the only place I want to take my fur babies, Ollie and Milton.

They have taken great care of my doxies. We came from CA a year ago so getting good vet care was a priority..They also do grooming there and have a small dog kennel, it works great for us since our dogs were rescues and we didn't want them to traumatized.

Yesterday, I went to the Celina Animal Hospital to get my little puppy examined by a doctor. I've been a patient at this animal hospital for more than seven years, and I think the staff is great. Both Sarah, the tech, and the doctor were excellent. I have to be careful with my money because of the state of our economy, so I asked before getting any treatment, and Sarah and the doctor were really helpful and understanding. I questioned a price when I went to the front desk for checkout, and Erin, the hospital manager, told me that "things go up" with no other explanation, raised her brow, and treated me like I was "low class." She seemed to have lost her sensitivity and was quite harsh.  Not sure if I will be back to this hospital, but the owner of this hospital needs to hire front office workers, especially a Manager with a little more empathy. I was stunned as to how she looked at me and raised/rolled her eyes at me. Completely let down.

Staff is amazing. Welcomed us by name even though they had never met us before. Answered all questions and said not to hesitate to call if I had more. So glad we switched for the other vet to this wonderful family.

We recently got two puppies and Dr. Stead, the techs, and the front desk staff have all been so amazing as they’ve helped us navigate some health problems with both pups. I am so thankful for this staff! Dr. Stead is so attentive, explains everything so thoroughly, and listens to every question or concern we’ve had. She has also been an incredible resource for simply navigating these puppy days by helping us know what is normal and what to expect. Thank you to EVERYONE who has loved on our little fur babies in the last 4 weeks!

I have only had great experiences with this vet and have been bringing my dog here for over 3 years. Everyone is extremely kind and caring towards my dog, and the vet is very thorough when addressing any issues when I bring him in.

I want to thank the entire team at the Animal Hospital of Celina. We brought our cat. Mickey, to see Dr. Ruffner becuase he was experiencing a couple oif issues. Mickey had what appeared to be a fluid filled Cyst on the top of his head and hadnstopped eating to a piint where he dropped from 16lbs to 8lbs in just over 2 months.We had already taken Mickey to see another Vet in the area who said we would need to spend more than a thousand $$ to diagnose the bump on his head.Dr. Ruffner took Mickey's blood for testing and at the same time sucked the fluid from the cyst on his head. He did not even charge us to remove the cyst.The blood test showed that Mickey did not have any serious issues but was anemic and prescribed medication to stimulate his appetite.Mickey is doing amazing just a week later. His appatite is back and so is his energy level.We are so greatful to the entire team and feel lucky and blessed that we found a Dr. whose motivation is making animals healthy and not about running up the bill. Our Mickey means so much to us and we are excited to see him doing so well.Thanks you all!!!!!

I did not have luck with this vet years ago but I realize today their staff at the front are just terrible people. I found 2 dogs on 289 running that almost got hit. The dogs were very friendly and hopped right in my car as I pulled them out of the median. I pulled in to the vet and called the number on the collar. Owner was on their way and the ladies sat at their computer saying I couldn’t leave them inside or in a front gated area to wait. I explained I had to go pick up my children from school and couldn’t wait any longer. They were very rude. I would have thought a vet office would be a bit more understanding and caring. I would find any other vet.

We were very sad the day after Thanksgiving. We had to put down our 14 year old Sheltie. I can’t say enough good things about how Animal Hospital of Celina treated us. They were incredibly kind, compassionate, patient and respectful as we said goodbye to part of our family. Thank you all so much!

Update: when AHC received info that our pup was at the ER vet for swallowing part of a toy, they were quick to check in with us on the spot and ask how he was doing. It was a great comfort to know they were concerned and ready to help. They quickly and patiently answered all my questions during recovery.Friendly and helpful staff. Dr Vadala and Dr Black are caring, attentive and thorough. Recommended.

The Animal Hospital of Celina has been so kind and caring for our family. Our cat didn’t have a regular vet, and we’re happy to say this is our cat’s new vet home!! Cannot recommend Celina Animal Hospital enough. We have 2 Brittany pups that we’ve been taking there for about 2 years. One of our puppies hurt his leg this morning so we called to try to get him in for an appointment as soon as possible. Even though no spots were available they took him in and checked him in between appointments and surgeries. The entire team took such good care of him and calmed my dog mama nerves! Thank y’all so much!

After tons of research and price comparisons, we had our puppy spayed here…and then just ended up switching vets so we are now regulars! We are always able to get an appt (and don’t have to wait weeks like other places), the entire staff are all such kind and caring people, and their prices are very fair. We are super happy here, and would highly recommend!

Dr. Vadala and Dr. Stead are both amazing veterinarians, who truly care about pets and their owners. The staff here are absolutely phenomenal. They helped me through losing an elderly dog in a very traumatic way and even provided a clay paw print afterward. I could not be more thankful for how they helped me during this time.Unfortunately, Dr. Black does not hold up to the standard of everyone else in this office. She saw another elderly dog of mine for seizures. After not properly explaining what I needed to do for my dog, she berated me for not following the instructions she did not give and insinuated I was neglectful of my dog and harming him. My dog is a top priority to me; he's family. It was such an awful experience that I ended up in tears and one of the staff members apologized for how it was handled.If it weren't for literally everyone else in the office, I wouldn't go back. However, I won't let this truly negative experience overshadow all of the amazing things the staff and the other veterinarians have done for my dogs and me. I still absolutely recommend people to go to this clinic, but see Dr. Stead or Dr. Vadala as they are the top tier veterinarians at this clinic.

This place is amazing! I brought my doggo here because there was something going on w her paw. Turns it it was her thumb nail!!! They trimmed her nails and put something for it to stop bleeding! They were super attentive and very caring of my pooch. Highly recommend! Shout out to the staff as well! Super hard workers and friendly too! Definitely a bang for my buck

Love the new vet! They've taken care of several of my pets now. Including an urgent appt then surgery needed for my sweet mini schnauzer. They are thorough. Explain everything. Go over costs upfront. They genuinely care about the pets they treat and as a crazy pet parent I appreciate that!

We took my daughter's pet rat in today. She had been trying for a while to find someone willing g to listen and offer help and advise. She had been told by another vet there was nothing they could do. This vet was concerned ,listened to everything was patient and compassionate.. Even talked to her over the phone due to being out of state. They made sure we understood everything as well as the course of treatment. They were very reassuring and put my daughter at ease. They are awesome. I highly recommend them

Best veterinarian in the WORLD. Dr. Stead and her team and SO knowledgeable and the truly care about their patients. I can't emphasize enough how much they CARE. They go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure their patients are happy and comfortable. They care for the client as well and are excellent at walking me through everything in a way I'll understand what's happening with my fur baby. Couldn't recommend them more.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with them. From the staff to the Doctor, everything was perfect! I took my Sugar Glider there and they took great care of her. They are not the closest vet to where I live, but from now on I will make the drive there every time. Thank you Animal Hospital of Celina! You guys are excellent!

Old review:"I have a 14 year old cat and a rescue dog. Celina Animal Hospital takes care of us every time we need them. Great service and care. I've used them the last two years and have no plans to switch any time soon."Updated review: my cat is now 16, we still have our rescued dog, and we added a kitten to the mix last year. Still love this place. The people are friendly, very understanding and with all the new issues my senior cat has sprouted, they take very good care of us. We couldn't ask for better vets than the ones at the Animal Hospital of Celina.

This review is about my experience regarding grooming. First, the lady groomer that they have is WONDERFUL! I moved my business (2 pups) elsewhere because if you take your pups there for grooming...WATCH WHAT SIGN ! because when you pick them up, you will be hit with a "brief exam" fee...BS ! I already provided all up to date vaccination records and this fee (which is over half the groom fee) is ridiculous! It's just a way for them to make more money. I will not be back. In fact, my pups were groomed today at a local well reviewed place with just vaccination records. Her business has a 4.8 star rating !

I haven't been there, but mom has taken my 2 dogs and cat. She raved about them. My daughters loved to watch the vet working on them. My kitty was groomed and came home so so happy. To top it off they are super fast, because both times mom has gone, she is back within the hour. Soooo we will make this our vet for all pets.

Friendly and caring staff. They carry Science Diet and grain free treats and pill pockets. Dr Vadala is awesome.. she listens and is knowledgeable. I'm so relieved to find a great vet so close to home since moving from Katy to Celina.
