Loved the custom cake and cupcakes for my niece's 1st birthday! My mother was overjoyed when she saw the cake. ❤ 🎉 🎂*Cake toppers, cups and reference photo provided by my mother*

The bakery items lacked clear labeling to indicate their contents. When I purchased a bread item, it initially appeared empty, but to my surprise, it contained meat and cheese. It is essential for the bakery to label their products accurately to inform customers of the ingredients.

Nothing against the store itself but my worry is how they dispose used cooking oil. It's contaminating the environment and the rear of the store looks terrible. Cedar Creek health officials need to look at this!

Look out for this place❕ ⚠️Check✔️ the date📆 on your food - because they sure as heck don't! After I had already gotten a ways down the road AND started eating these, I realized how moldy they were on the INSIDE of them. So I checked the date, and low and behold- it was a over a month past the "sell by" date! YUCK 🤢🤮🤬

****ATTENTION **** ******INMINENT DANGER OF HEALTH****---please take care in hygiene practices--3rd time I visit this store and always have bad experiences. when making my purchase that included sealed products, produce and poultry. At the time of checking out, the cashier Alejandra H. first throws my toasts in a rude way and they fall apart. second he handles sealed products and tries to mix poultry with bread and produces in the same bag. When recommending my wife that she should not do it. The cashier in a rude and sarcastic way yells at my wife and tells her that the employees are not trained to handle raw products and also that a customer is not going to tell her what to do. I speak with the manager and explain the situation and the imminent health danger that this means. then the manager goes to the cashier. and I'm waiting for the manager to solve the situation and just start helping the cashier pack and I see that they start laughing. So I think the manager just made me believe that he would fix the problem. It seems that the ties between employees and managers create trust between them to allow employees to affect and put our health at risk and, like the cherry on the cake, they are rude with the consumer

One word- ¡PUPUSAS!Okay, a few more words... the store is a legit grocery store! The pupusa weren't the best I've ever had- those came from the Salvadorean Restaurant in Aberdeen, Washington... but these will definitely do for now!!

The hot food used to be great. As of recent, it has gone down in flavor and WAY UP in cost. 👎

Everytime I need gas there is a car at every stall, not pumping gas. Half the card readers aren't working. The meat market customer service just pretends you're not there, (they have a number system but never use it). And yes the prices are high on anything packaged or canned. It's the only store close by and frustrating how they take advantage of it.

If your getting gasoline, the register is at far end of building. If you are prepaying to save time. Start there. It's a well stocked grocery store, with convenience, items. Stocked, in not so convenient, areas. Drinks as far left as can go. Gas as far right as possible. Big store. Full and tight.

Employees are always in a bad mood, sometimes there is a couple that may be nice but the majority of them seem to be mad. Prices on hot food is ridic and the servings are pitiful. We go here when we REEEEALLY need something and don't want to drive 25+ minutes into town but we really try to avoid it because of it's poor customer service. Also, don't shop here during bad weather because they price gauge! They were selling cases for +$5 in February during the snow storm.

I like their green salsa and all their Mexican food selection but what I don't like and don't recommend for you guys reading this is don't get their marinaded meat, chicken or beef from their fresh meats. I bought it twice and both times it smelled and tasted sour.🤦 Just heads up. JD's get it together please,🤞 I don't want to knock y'all but please figure it out.

And my daughter in law purchased fresh cut meat totally spoiled and this is happening with their first few months opening this new store the other locations is great. We're Hispanic rural neighborhood and this grocery store is around the corner I think their trying to poison us what do u think?

The service was subpar, but the actual Market itself was kind of cute. Would not recommend getting gas here though because inside it said it was one price and at the pump it said it was a completely different price. If you're looking to get gas I would recommend going elsewhere but the produce looked all right. Probably wouldn't come here again unless necessary.

This is the closest thing to a grocery store you have in the Del Valle area. The produce is hit or miss but the meat department is pretty good. I'm not 100% sure about the sea food section, I've never bought any fish from there because it smells kinda iffy. The restuarant inside is very good and the portions are large. Gas is about 5-10 cents cheaper than the others around.

Was actually a really great place. Definitely found a ton of things I'll be purchasing from here. And an amazing selection of foods. The grocery store is too far from my house, but this place makes a great substitute. Made a new frequent shopper out of me...

That's a good place, their meat section has a great selection and quality. The area where they cook the food is really good. The only issue is that their workers are not always friendly they seem to have an attitude.

I just sent this as an email to their main office:I entered the store at approximately 7:00 PM on Monday, May 17th, 2021. Since the mask mandate was lifted in Texas over two months ago and the CDC has issued guidance advising that fully vaccinated persons need not wear a mask, I was not wearing a mask at the time. I walked through the store's produce section when the cashier working register number 1, Juanita V, yelled across the store, "Hey, put on a mask!".I will admit, I was so taken aback by the complete lack of respect that I got angry and chose to ignore this "request". Shortly thereafter, a security guard approached me. He politely and respectfully asked me to put on a mask and stated that the cashiers will not serve me without it. Because the security guard was professional and respectful, I proceeded to put on a mask and go about my business.I approached the meat market/hot food counter in the back of the store where I noticed multiple JD's employees working behind the counter, handling food and raw meat without masks. If it is JD's policy that everyone in the store wear a mask, then I would expect the policy to be enforced as aggressively with the staff as it is with the customers.I made sure to check out at register 1 so I could inform Juanita V that her co-workers are not wearing their masks. Surely, she would be appalled by their complete disregard of JD's policy as she felt the need to berate me for not wearing a mask. As it turns out, she was not concerned that they didn't have their masks on. When I mentioned that some of them had masks pulled down below their nose and mouth while working with customers' food, she said "well, they have a mask on". When I chose to "wear" my mask the same way, she told me she would not check me out until I put my mask on properly and threatened to have the security guard remove me from the store. At this point, I was very irate and not afraid to admit it. I told her to tell her employees to put their masks on and then I will put mine on. She told me that they aren't her employees because she's not the manager. To which, I requested to speak to the manager.I regret that I did not get the manager's name. The manager told me that the staff behind the counter have to wear their masks for eight hours a day as if that is an excuse to violate policy. I have to wear my mask all day at work, as do many others. She then proceeded to tell me that the staff behind the counter have been vaccinated. I, too have been vaccinated. So, again, if that is a reason not to wear a mask, I should have been fine. She then became apologetic for Juanita's incredibly rude and derogatory behavior and assured me that she would ensure all of the staff would be made aware of the policy. Because after 14 months of COVID restrictions, I'm sure some of them aren't aware of what they are expected to do at work.More importantly, this policy is rooted in fear and ignorance. Any mask that is not an N95 mask will provide little to no protection against the COVID-19 virus for either the person wearing it or those around them. Secondly, COVID-19 has a survival rate of over 99%. While it is highly contagious, it is very unlikely that those who catch it will die. Finally, the COVID-19 positivity rate in Bastrop and Travis counties is 2.8% and 2.4%, respectively. Translation, despite the fact that Texas opened up at 100% over two months ago, the transmission of COVID-19 has continued to decline in our state.I'm quite certain that nobody at JD's main office will actually read this email or take any action because of it. But rest assured, I will not patronize your stores again. And not because of your fear-based mask policy, but because your employees feel it is okay to be rude to your customers.

Good sweet bread! But I demanded a more clean environment to shop!! Seems to me everytime I go, it smells awful entering store property, by the dumpster, it's not only nasty but unsanitary!! You're putting your customer's in a very uncomfortable situation, also where the hot food is sold there is always flies flying around, now this is unacceptable!! Hope management does something about this, before I completely stop shopping there and looking for another place, will also be telling freinds and family.

The employees are all very nice, the store is clean and well stock, the only thing that bothers me is that the fruit and vegetables are always in bad shape Why is that?

Close to me in the country to get what I would usually get at the grocery store. They have some unique produce. Meat is not in your usual grocery store cuts. Not much labeled organic. I didn't check for non-GMO. Great prices. Geared towards the Hispanic community. But aren't their practices towards the organic side anyway? Someday I'll check out their farmers. I don't buy much processed food, but they have that, too.

While I am highly impressed with the amount of stuff here, and I realize it is new, my two visits have both resulted in significantly higher prices being charged at the register when the items are scanned than the prices marked at the shelf location. Two weeks ago I failed to notice an item marked $6.99 scanned at $8.79 until after I saw the receipt at home. Today again an item marked $7.49 scanned at $8.79. The clerk, Giselle, made the correction after I pointed it out to her, but JDs can make a LOT of money that way, and the authorities need to be monitoring that situation. I hope this gets corrected soon, and I can add some stars.

This location is less than a mile away from my house and is the closest grocery store in my area and the service is horrible they are so unprofessional. The foods and meats are always overdue all of the employees are rude they never great the customer . I have complaint about it and nothing has been done . I stop providing my services to this location I rather drive to Austin than having to go to this store that's only 3 minutes away from my home. Will no longer used this store even when the only store in my area!!!!!! Don't even deserve a start for ratting!
