I went to this location looking for flea and tick medicine and when I asked the staff for information on the product they had little knowledge and felt like they wanted to rush me out cause closing was coming near I was upset I bought a product that barely did anything for my dog just wow they need to educate their staff and hire helpful people

Good supply store. It's a bit small but carries just enough of whatever you are looking for. The cashier was nice and helpful as was the employee who helped load my purchase.

Usually go to the store in Helotes, about the same setup but this location has a covered area outside... Friendly staff. Ask more than a few times if I need help. Usually just buy dogfood and maybe some hand tools. Great place to buy seasonal stuff.

Edit: they have recently come under new management I guess because the service has gotten so much better.Do yourself a favor and go to TSC in Hondo or Devine. Nothing is ever in stock. One person barely working the register at any time no matter how long the line is. If you need something from the back forget about it if there is another person in the store.

My family and I come here to the Castroville, TX location often and the staff here is always so kind and helpful. There is a younger guy (sorry forgot his name) always asking if we need help to take stuff out or load it. And, Ms. Kathie (Kat) who was beyond helpful when I called about an item ( a few times🤦‍♀️) and was the sweetest about it the whole time. Never once did she get annoyed or act rude. Good Customer service is the simplest thing but not always easy to find.

The Tractor Supply in Castroville is a great place your vegetable seats the lady that's in charge of the garden department is very knowledgeable and is very smart about when to plant stuff and when she should bring it in I would highly suggest this tractor supply

Every time we come in to purchase hay and it’s still daily light 6:55 pm. Sunset after 8. They never sell us hay. Really sad for being the only closes store we can get hay off the big rig truck. Its too late doors are close to the big rig. And I love tractor supply it’s just sad. This has happen more than 3x

Purchased a wheelbarrow on line it said it would be in Thursday .I checked and it wasn't so I waited till the next Saturday as I looked online I saw that I had two days to go pick it up ,it was the day that it was pouring rain .so I called the store and spoke to a girl that said that she spoke with the manager and that it was not a problem that it was in lock up and that Saturday was fine when I went to go pick it up on Saturday they told me that the order was canceled and they no longer had it the girl inform me that it was in lockup the day before which was Friday they never offered any kind of resolution except I'm sorry.

If you've never been to one you have missed a different kind of store that caters to acreage property owners. Folks who have horses, tractors, chickens, goats and the like but you can get good deals on topline clothing, boots and work gear not to mention all the essentials to keep your four-legged friends happy, big tools and the bits and pieces to fix stuff that you find on a spread. The store is newish clean and well stocked.

After having tried for MONTHS to get an answer, from the TSC that’s 2 miles from my house, about a special order of feed; I contacted Castroville tsc to speak with someone here. I still don’t know if I can get the feed, but within 27 minutes Jenny called me back to let me know that she’s put the order in and it may or may not ship. I feel confident that if I cannot get the feed through tractor supply she will at least contact me.I have rented a trailer from this location and everyone was very kind and helpful. This location feels more like a small local company rather than corporate tractor supply like the Helotes location.I highly recommend this location if you require any assistance from employees.

We love this store they always have what we need for our gardens, our lawn and home. My husband also always finds everything he need for his diesel truck and lawn equipment. They have lots of pet supplies as well and so many odds and ends. It is definitely worth the drive out to their store for us.

I was greeted immediately upon entering the store. While I was shopping I needed a tool that I couldn't find. I was asked by another associate if I needed anything. When I told him what I was looking for he scanned it and immediately found it for me. The only thing I've noticed is their seems to be a high turn around and I'm always seeing different workers. I don't think tractor supply treats their people well and I'm sure they don't make much. I try my best to not burden these folks to much which is why it got a 4 and not a 5, not because of the people but because of tractor supply. Keep up the great work guys and gals, their are some of us who appreciate it.

The cashier was rude and ornery. She needs an adjustment...Blonde lady in grey t-shirt and old gentleman helping her with display and chickens very nice.They need to ask if you have rewards.The customer shouldn't have to constantly remember. Most stores with a rewards program ask their customers!

Always been pleased with their customer service and their store. Plenty of items to be had for home or ranch. Knowledgeable friendly employees. Have bought a propane heater, a lawnmower, a weed/grass trimmer and a 4 seater paddle boat for fishing. Great products.

Always down home personable people. Sometimes wait is a bit long to get help with large items. Staff is limited really not there fault. I enjoy shopping at tractor supply if I can't find something tractor supply is usually place to go.

Absolute worst service. Kat I believe her name was, one of the rudest ladies I have ever met. We are new to the area & went into the store to get propane and she rolled her eyes and snarled about having to help us. She also acted like I was an idiot when I told her that my 7 gal propane tank was 7 gallons. I don’t know if it was an off day for her, but customer service is an extremely important thing for any business owner & this was an awful first impression of Tractor Supply for me.Sucks because we get about 14 gal of propane every week & my boyfriend was excited to go buy some new tools and work clothes from there, but now we will most definitely be taking our business else where.

Great store for ranch and farm supplies, as well as odds and ends from the bargain aisles, or clothing. Staff is friendly and helpful though you usually must seek them out. Would love to see more metal working materials as this area is well picked over.

Good overall selection. They have a little section right in front with different tools around the store. Also, their dog food brand 4health is an inexpensive alternative to the costly name brands of healthy food.
