I'm devastated that this coffee place isn't in San Antonio because it's so amazingly good, the way those small town coffee places tend to be. As far as l could tell, it was the only coffee option in town, and they were busy! The barista was SO quick - l was watching him make drink after drink with few pauses. A second barista came in by the time l got to order, and both employees were patient and kind. They seemed calm, which is perfect in such a tiny coffee spot. The espresso was perfect - rich and chocolate-y, smooth and complimenting the milk and shot of flavor. I'm looking for any excuse to visit Castroville just so l can get some coffee!

The location was very quaint. It would be a perfect spot to sit and enjoy your drink with friends or relax with a book. Unfortunately, the drink itself was not that good. The drink I ordered was made with a prepackaged concentrate, not brewed themselves. The service was very friendly though.

As a small town loving gal, I LOVED every inch of this place. The details, the outdoor seating, the history.😭 Just perfect. You can tell this place has an incredible community around it! Will be coming back when I’m in town from Houston!💕

1st Visit: Pet friendly! Only spot in Castroville with this small coffee shop cozy feeling. Love the almond latte and pastries.Most current visit: still love this spot, now with bike rack on the side in shaded area. Still delicious drinks.

Sandwich was good. They have 3 tables inside had 1 person at 2 and 2 people at the other. They weren't eating or drinking just talking. Didn't offer to move for me and my friend to eat our sandwiches. I would have understood if they were eating and drinking. Very Sad!!! What happened to common courtesy. This was my first visit and might be my last. Service was good.

I have been wanting to try this coffee shop for awhile and finally had the chance to. I made a quick stop to grab a couple of coffees this morning. Got a few smiles from what seemed to be locals enjoying their coffee outside. Upon entering, I noticed how cute and quaint this place was. Good music, cool creaky wooden floors, good selection of pastries and aromas of deliciousness. However, I was not greeted and the barista was not very friendly. I hope his day got better. Nonetheless, he made good coffee. As I was leaving with a handful, two customers offered to help me to my car and that made my first experience a lot better. 😊

Not only the best coffee shop I've ever been to, but the best service I've ever had. The baristas are knowledgeable, and my honey latte tastes the SAME everytime I get it!! Never had that at any other place. Consistency is key and they do an AMAZING job at what they do!Go here for.some friendly faces and some people who know what's what about coffee! And it's delicious!!!

One of the best coffee shops I've been too! Great espresso that translates to amazing lattes and cappuccinos. The single origin mocha is particularly good. Has some indoor seating and a great outdoor patio with a few local shops around to walk to. If you're in Castroville you have to give this place a try.

I consider myself a well-seasoned and well-travelled coffee shop junkie. There are a lot of cool places to go in the San Antonio area. It has been fun trying out a bunch. I only go back if the coffee/lattes are really good, the vibe feels just right and the staff is really into the people who come in and love what they do. The owner of Magnolia Filling Station is awesome and encourages her staff to experiment with baking, with new drinks and is flexible with their hours. She encourages her staff to continue their education and become a part of the business. I literally love going there each and every time I go. Can't "rec" Magnolia enough. 5 stars seems inadequate.

Coffee always taste amazing! Quick and fast even when there's a line. Well not every line, sometimes there are some regulars there and it may take a little longer lol that's just because the staff and owner are amazing!!! still my favorite coffee place in Castroville.
