I have personally dropped off my meat to be processed on multiple occasions and have always been greeted with a smile by Jeff, who is one of the kindest and most courteous people I have ever met.Jeff always goes above and beyond to make sure that my experience is top-notch. He takes the time to listen to my specific requests and ensures that everything is done to my satisfaction. Great place to have a look at if you want meats, Jerky, sides, treats and more. It does have fresh meats, sausages and deli meats. The staff were helpful and nice. It is a nice clean place and has a good look to it.

What an awesome selection of meat and jerky and then the cashier asked if we tried the "raw meat dip", I thought it was stuff to make burgers but was I ever wrong!! And we bought some!! Take the drive, well worth the money you'll spend.

1st time at this meat market they have a great selection of jerky and all other types of preserves such as salsa, jams, stuffed olive, quail eggs and awesome fragrant candles 🕯 check this place out I really love ❤️ the beef jerky definitely a new stop before hiking 🚶‍♀️

The super hard jerky style isn’t my favorite but that doesn’t take away from them that is just my preference. Young lady at the jerky counter was awesome and ladies at the registers were very polite. The beef and pork snack sticks with jalapeño cheese was the winner for me!!!

Have been buying sausage products from Dziuks for decades now. The venison dry sausage is always great. Was recently introduced to parisa, and Dziuks parisa is pretty good as well.Store is well stocked, staff if friendly and willing to answer any questions you have, many local made products, spices, seasonings, and meat products.Great place to get your fresh butchered meat, and to find new regional products.

Welcome to meat nirvana! And not one of those over proud meat boutiques that sells everything for about three times what the grocery stores charge. Look.. This is the best quality meats, jerky, sausage and great jarred salsas and vegetables at completely reasonable prices. Such a wonderfully laid out store. I can't recommend this establishment enough. Where's the sixth star???

My friend: Do you like beef jerky? Me: I LOVE beef jerky!!! And so I was introduced to Dziuk's during a recent trip to Texas. This place is beef jerky heaven, I swear!! They have every kind imaginable and even hearty chunks of cured and seasoned meats that are tasty and satisfying. My favorites though were the strips of real, old fashioned, dry jerky. Teriyaki is seasoned perfectly and the chew and dryness was just perfect. Staff is super friendly and helpful. There's also tons of tasty canned goods, pickled things, sauces, salsas, and jams. Space was limited in my suitcase so only got a couple but luckily you can also buy online and they'll ship!! They will also custom cut meats for you and not just jerky. The refrigerated case also had a nice variety of goodies to take home and grill. Too bad I don't live nearby or I'd be here probably way too often. Totally worth a visit if you're in the area. I guarantee I will be back!

We wanted to love Dzuik's and, for a while, we did. However, there's only so many times you can mess up before you should start to expect negative feedback -- and it seems like the owner, management and my family disagree on that number.They've lost whole animals we've dropped off for processing which, is honestly pretty impressive. That was Strike 1. We returned. Mistakes happen and they attempted to make it right. We wanted to support local.Strike 2 was when they lost my 11 year old daughter's first doe hide. We had it marked to keep - and made sure it was marked when we dropped it off - as it was her very first deer and we promised we'd get the hide tanned for her to hold on to. We brought that to their attention with the hopes that they'd get it figured out. Again, super frustrating but mistakes happen. We just wanted them to find it or make it right.Strike 3 was the entire process following that. If you're going to be an honest and well received business, you have to make it right when you or your employees foul up. We've received nothing but the run around from the manager of the processing facility, Jeff. He has lied, he has given us the run around, he has avoided everything completely. Now my husband and mother in law are getting calls from the owner telling them that their reviews, stating the facts, are unfair and need to be taken down. That honestly causes me to also question the accuracy and validity of the ratings and reviews listed elsewhere.I was planning on staying out of this but no longer. Sir, telling a customer that their review isn't acceptable after you dropped the ball is what is not acceptable. We gave you repeat opportunities to fix what your team messed up well before a review was ever written. If you don't like negative feedback, the burden lies on YOU to do better. It does not lie on your customer to just deal with your shortcomings.Ultimately the issue wasn't the mistakes, though multiple for one family in a short period of time IS a red flag. The issue at the heart of our frustration is the unwillingness to handle it appropriately and professionally.Schott's should be thanking you for securing new customers for them.

Drove 4 hours all excited to get myself some awesome meat! I umpire near this place on the weekends but I never got a chance to go. I finally made the drive and was really disappointed by their customer service. like I said I was really excited to just get bummed out by the way they treated me. The meat really is great. the sausages are amazing. jerky was a lil too hard for myliking. I'll go again but I won't be asking questions anymore.

I ordered by mail. It came fed ex professionally packaged. This is my favorite beef jerky in the world. This I time ordered strip jerky and the dried jalapeno beef and pork dried sausage. It was fantastic. Best jerky good service

Everytime we go to Castroville we stop buy. Their Beef and Pork Sticks are very good. I only gave a 4 star rated because one of the employees was standing by the counter and cutting her nails. I thought this was pretty gross and not very sanitary. I seriously doubt we go back. Just Nasty!

There used to be sausage in this bag. ....key part: "used to be." This stuff is so good that kids made it disappear in 5 minutes! The whole bag!.....ok it was me.But for real, this place has some delicious sausages, jerky, and beef! LOVE IT!

Awesome selection of meats, spices and more. Only draw back to our experience at Dziuk’s was the super unfriendly blonde young lady at the cashier counter. She was extremely rude and snappy with the simple questions we were asking. I would definitely go back but I will gladly wait for someone else to assist me in the future.

This is such a nice place! The selection is great, the prices are reasonable, and the quality is fantastic. The staff is mostly younger and I have to say that I am impressed. They have been professional, polite, and friendly each and every time I've been there.

I absolutely love this place for many reasons!!!! They have excellent customer service, great prices and they have never let me down when it comes to a product I need(if they didn’t have, they made it). I never have to wait long for big orders and the foods I order are top notch! The Parisa(not sure if I spelled it correctly,lol), is so delicious and every time I order it, I travel down memory lane, since Dziuks is the first and only place I have ever had it. Anyways, 5 stars easy!!!

Came in to stock up like normal. Got home and over the course of two weeks, we have discovered that someone mislabeled a bunch of products.1. Chorizo is not Andouille sausage. 2. Hawaiian sausage was just onions and bell peppers. 3. Parisa is great, but 1/2 lb next time, the onion power was strong with this batch.Overall, good products, but check everything carefully.

The Parisa was amazing.. my first time ever eating this rare delicacy that to my knowledge can only be found in this one county in Texas. It is very similar to beef tartare but taste more like what I know as a "cheese ball" which is also served with crackers. They have essentially the same flavor profile but I like Parisa much better. We drove several hours for this experience. This store also has a great jerky selection.
