I was able to go in find what I needed quickly. I didn't have to wait in a long line either. As matter of fact, I didn't have to wait in line at all.H.E.B. is a great place to shop.

I am from ourT of town and spent Christmas in Carthage with family. I found the store to be clean and the produce to be very fresh. Prices for meat were cheaper than Walmart and the cuts better. Overall it looks like a great place for groceries.

As a semi driver i cant get to many HEBs. After moving from Kerrville to AZ a few years ago. Being able to stop in here is like old home week.We love HEB.

Great little store. One of the few in east Texas! Older space, but really clean with a great staff! Worth the hour drive from Kilgore for HEB brand charro beans and coffee. Make this run once a month to stock up!

Fast in and out. Just drove down from Arkansas for the Casa Ole San Antonio blend coffee. Please build a store in Texarkana or Mena, Arkansas.🙄

Since moving from the Austin area where H-E-Bs are found in almost every shopping center, it was a bit sad when we moved out to ETX (Longview area) and found that they have no stores out here other than this one in Carthage. Well worth the 45 minute drive but really hope they can open one closer to Longview someday soon. We’re waiting!

Idk how this place is as a store as I've never shopped here but I came in for an interview and was 1min late and was turned away by an employee who wasn't even the interviewer. The interview saw me walk in and walked right back into his office. I feel disrespected and disappointed that that even occurred. HEB must not need employees that bad if they are turning people away the second they walk through the door. I just wish they would've Gave me a chance because surely not everyone can be there exactly on time sometimes things happen like for instance the traffic i got stuck in, despite the traffic i still made it at 10am and walked in at 10:01. My only hope is they treat people coming in to an interview better in the future I wasted my time and my gas to be turned away when I was 1min late.

This location and store is probably a original from the 80s. Outdated and old and not a true HEB like Burelson, I'm use too..ive even been to HEB in mexico and seen better choices.

Very friendly and helpful they even put my groceries on the the counter to be checked out. Loaded my grocery cart and loaded into my car! I would recommend this store to every one!! 100%

Decided to give H.E.B a 2nd try. As my favorite grocery store won't clean their store and have better prices. I have to say I'm glad I did! Much cleaner and have so much more in all departments than my regular grocery store.

I grew up with H-E-B down in south Texas when one of my coworker told me that theres one in Carthage I just had to go and pay a visit. The meat prices are good they even have a tomahawk steak although the store needs to be updated and the prices are not that bad.

Clean. Well stocked neatly arranged shelves. Produce is fresh and beautiful. In the summer, I love the little freezer of fresh shelled peas- especially the purple hull peas - and other vegetables.

For the first time when the cashier asked if I found everything I said no. So another employee went and retrieved the item I couldn't find. Thank you for helping me!6/27/23 - We went in and spoke with Justin, in produce, regarding organic produce. He was extremely helpful and let us know we could fill out a card at the register with any requests and the store would try to stock them.

Strawberries looked horrible...when I asked for a discount, the manager or who ever he was knew the Strawberries looked horrible told me he would only discount 3 of them and 1 was charge full price because that one looked good. Now I have an Event planning business and I have to have good looking fruit but the store was no help .Which I spend $90 on fruit for my great grandmother birthday party. I'm from Dallas and to experience that ..I should've just went to Walmart

Would you consider establishing a HEB store in Waskom TX close to Shreveport. Since I have issues with Kroger lately, I may have to drive from Bossier City to Carthage Texas. Lately Kroger is having logistical problems with keeping stock and or poor rotten stock. I will shop whole foods and may check out HEB just for the produce. Last week I had to throw away a bad honey sweet canaloupe at $2.50 when I stopped by Kroger on Ellerbe road.

I LOVE H-E-B but 2 of the cashiers that work at the Carthage store that I encountered are not H‑E‑B quality. I’m from Austin and went to H‑E‑B for years until I moved to Shreveport temporarily and never had an issue with anything or anyone. It makes me not want to go to that store anymore.I asked a question to one of them and she gave me an ugly look.Another time I went in the buy these H‑E‑B snack trays, they are similar to Lunchables and I got 6 of the bc they were 2 for $3. I go to check out and I asked her if the rang up at the sale price and of course said no. She asked me if I had a paper coupon and I said there weren’t any to get. She goes back there to look, comes back and said I’ll give you 2 of the 6 the sale price but the others you will have to pay full price. I asked was there a limit on the amount I could get for that price and she said no. I didn’t persist bc there was a line of ppl behind me. So I went to see the manager and he gave me the sale price for all of them. He was very nice about it.The whole thing was just ridiculous!Everything else about this store was very nice, super small but I still love H‑E‑B.

This is my favorite place to go to get food from when I go home there prices are ALOT better than Tennessee store here I really love there sale they have each week and you can find More stuff there that we don't have in our stores 😔😔

Went to get water refills. I had seven 5 gallon jugs. The machine is outside in the shade. It is easy and only costs $0.30/gallon.
