It is such a shame that they do not keep the store better staffed. There seems to be consistently u-boats full of boxed items needing to be stocked, on the sales floor. (which is also a safety hazard) It is an impossible task for the employees to be expected to be both helping customers in a way that reflects the good hearted, southern nature, of Canyon, TX, and try and stock full-time. IMPOSSIBLE. I understand why the employees often seem disgruntled or perturbed when they have to help someone. I would not be surprised if their performance was based on how much they stock versus their customer service skills. WHICH IS BACKWARDS. I hope that the manager and dollar general as a whole can help get this store staffed so that the employees can get some relief from the relentless, never ending chore of stocking and allow that staff to get to know their community and become a neighbor hood store to be proud of.

Employees are consistently Hateful verbally abusive and unavailable to provide basic customer service such as check out. Wanted this to be my go to store...not gonna happen. An Embarrassment to the Good Hearted Canyon Community. Wish I could put up a Do Not Enter warning sign. Sad

Everytime I go in there the manager goes out of her way to be rude to the customers. See needs to fired or step down if she hates her job or working with the public. I've never met a ruder person then her. Never want to go back. I need a supervisor to get ahold of me cause this has been more then one occasion.

First of all, this place has the nastiest bathroom I have ever seen. Second, I went into this store to purchase a screw driver to change my burt out rear signal bulb on my SUV. We are from out of town and after changing out the bulb I needed to throw away the plastic from my screwdriver purchase and also the package for the bulb. I was told, even though I just bought an item from this store that I could not dispose of my few pieces of trash. I have no plans of ever making any kind of purchase from those store again. If you can't provide basic services to your customers then there is no point of shopping here. I only went in because it is right across the street from the hotel we just checked out of.

Some female employee sorting out plastic totes, when asked the price on one item ,the remark " I don't know I'm stocking ". No effort to try to find out, she had a t shirt on that said it all. Was going to purchase a few items but walked out since it was more like I was a problem than a customer. Would not go back to this overrated starred establishment.

I was in there and the manager was very rude to an elderly woman, there was no need for her to talk to her like that. I went to the counter to check out and was standing there and she said you need something? Well duh I’m trying to check out! I would rather drive 15 miles to another one than to have to go in there when the store manger is there!

It’s what has become a typical Dollar General; dirty, unorganized, and always looks like a tornado just came through, but it works in a pinch when I don’t want to make the trek to Wal-Mart.They never seem to have enough staff because they have everyone stocking and you have to hunt them down when you’re ready to check out. They do have some very helpful college guys that work the register.Good place to stop when you just need a few necessities.

I was going to stop by here on my way home to pick up a few items, but before I even got inside I could see mutiple people standing in line with no masks on, so I turned around and left. Dollar General has lost my business, since they clearly don't care about the health and safety of their customers or employees.

It's a dollar general. It's a little cramped compared to others I've been to but it gets the job done. My main complaint is staff. I feel like every other time I come in here there's someone new at the register. If they weren't behind the register you'd never be able to tell they work there as apparently uniforms are optional here. Staff wears whatever jeans, t-shirts and even hats that they want. If the staff had proper uniforms and they were at least mildly competent in their store this would be a fine dollar general.

Very poor excuse for a dollar generalI took Chistmas blankets to check out marked 50% off and the employee would not honor the sale. It was very clearly marked yet they refused to give the sale price. You employees at this location are a joke.

Waited at the counter to pay for atleast 5 minutes before someone realized I was ready. The worker apologized. The large table of clearance items by the register is nice to look through while your waiting.

Easy pit stop when I just want to get in and out without all the hassle of walking or bumping into folks. Although, I have to get familiar again with what is where since they have rearranged. Great customer service no small talk just a simple 'Did you find all you need?' I respond with one 'Yes' they cash me out so I can be on my way. Badda bing. Badda boom.

Sometimes it's hard to locate an employee but they are a convenient store and do have lots of great deals. One of the girls always gives my daughter stickers.

I went in to this doller store they were very rude the cashier kept going out side for what reason I don't know I told her I was gonna talk to the manager she said she was the manager don't go in this doller store they are rude and disrespectful

We found everything we needed but when there was a price that was wrong at the register the cashier was very rude about it. She gave it to us for the price posted after all. Sorry their registers scan wrong or someone can not stock correctly.

Its a dollar General. It has lots of stuff. It has lots of cheap stuff. They are all over the place like little convenient walmarts. You need junk food, soda, soap, and laundry detergent? DG has you covered.

Why is it a requirement that all Dollar Generals be a huge mess? I cant EVER remember walking into one that was zoned and didnt have things all over the floor.
