I shop here when I need something quick. Prices are higher than other stores. But with their app and deals, some things are a bit affordable. I buy produce to consume that day. I stay away from purchasing meats. I go here because of the cashier, Terry! Super friendly! Always has a smile and in a good mood. She is helpful when I have had any questions.

There’s a male cashier who wears gloves and always crushes it with customer service. His wealth of knowledge about the store and hilariously witty remarks always make for a first class visit. It’s obvious why all the girls swoon over him. As long as he works at the neighborhood Lowe’s I won’t shop anywhere else

Usually, consistently running out of a product is an indication to increase your order. They never have pure harmony dog food, they only get 2 or 3 bags a week, and won't increase their order. I love the cashiers that work there, but that doesn't really matter if I can't shop there.

They have finally spent some of that money from all of their overpriced items by remodeling this store, which it really needed. The remodel is now complete, and it has a TruValue in the store now. The face-lift looks great. This place is very convenient for a quick grab of items you need. However, you will pay convenient store prices.

The man cleaning the floor verbally assaulted an old lady, and my soy milk was over a week expired. It’s nice to see that in spite of all the renovations Lowe’s Market hasn’t changed.

Great store to get the necessities. It felt like walking in a hardware store that happened to have a grocery store in it. They have bags of deer corn at the entrance, and I almost bought a bag because they place I am renting for the week has deer that walk right up to you. I had a better experience here than the other grocery store on the other side of the lake.

Not too bad of a place prices are a little on the high side for everything. Selection of meats and produce leave a lot to be desired. Updated stock is hit or miss on 4/24/24 there were 4 quarts of OJ that expired 4/14/24 still in the fridges

The Manager is super rude on the phone just raises his voice bro like we heard you buddy and rushes to demand to try and get off the phone with his rude attitude and raising his voice trying to rush you just simply trying to be rude I can't stand that stuff act like that to me in the parking lot and see what happens buddy

Small town atmosphere with great small town values. The remodel to upgrade the store is awesome. The store looks brand new with plenty of fresh meats and produces.

Produce is real bad. If it isn't spoiled on the shelf it will be at your home by the next day. So many things on the shelf are past expiration date. On the plus side, most of the employees are nice. Still, I only go there for a few select items that I can't get elsewhere. And now it appears that they've partnered with Ace hardware, so that this overly small food store now sells even less food because 10-15% of the store is now tools and paint and stuff like that. They should stick to selling food. IMO, someone made a bad call adding hardware.

Small town chain grocery feel. Lowes in Startzville now has an Ace hardware section of the store with a good selection of paints and painting accessories. They also have a good selection of RV supplies all at a very fair, surprisingly even less costly than most chain home repair big stores. Friendly staff. Fresh vegies.

Pleasantly surprised at their produce section. When we moved here years ago, I asked my husband if they were getting the rejects from HEB's produce. Everything looked old and had gnats on it. We went back 3 weeks ago, and there had been a huge change. Lots to choose from, EVERYTHING looked fresh and well displayed. The store was clean and had clearly upgraded from the Lowes I knew a few years back. The pricing on EVERYTHING is still about 3 to 5 times higher then what you would see at HEB but for the convenience in the middle of a small town it is to be expected that they are monopolizing on it.

Just out of GP because everything is so damned expensive. Something is wrong with the way you price things wherever I can walk into 7-11 and buy ANYTHING cheaper than I can at any grocery store. That's just ridiculous. We're all going through this Bide-inflation, but it's your job to keep prices as low as you can. You guys aren't doing so great in that aspect. I just feel that locally we need to do more to help each other.

The last 6 times I've gone there I've ended up with spoiled watermelon, brown apples that were mushy, expired powered marinades, bread & cheese that was moldy and I ate the money for it all ,but today took the cake I bought a 12 pack of soda when I got home and went to pull out the soda I noticed it damaged so I went back this time upset. By the time I left I was fuming because the so called supervisor or whatever title this lady had tried to say that it didn't leave the store that way insinuating I did, she even stated her employees don't put stuff on the shelves that are damaged when APPARENTLY THEY DO apparently this so called supervisor isn't doing her job if she thinks that. If a store is going to CHARGE REDICULOUS PRICES THEN AT LEAST GIVE QUALITY PRODUCTS & CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will be doing my shopping at HEB for now on and if I need something in the moment I will get it from Dollar General and to the Lowe's Market Owner you might want to train your so called supervisor ( She has NO IDEA what CUSTOMER SERVICE entails). I was there Saturday July 29 in the afternoon. I will be NOT RECOMMENDING that store to anyone and will let them know ALL of my BAD EXPERIENCES with Lowe market.

If I could give zero I would. I’m a local here and only stop at this location out of dire need. Even with their fancy new coolers, they restocked items that where over a month expired. I’ve had this happen many times here over the years and because of this and the extreme prices I avoid the place. Please check expiration dates on every item you pickup!

I am impressed that Lowe's Market is upgrading their selections. When we moved here they'd never carried fresh ginger or gruyere. Now they have an expansive produce and cheese selection that's improving every day. Great job guys!!

Food is overpriced. Clerks are great. But just cause were 15 to 20 miles from a heb, dont make it ok to overprice food. Its ludacris

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS!! A lady who works there (I believe the manage) blonde hair with her roots grown out looks about 50 but acts like she’s 10. She was restocking cupcakes and I grabbed two infront of her. She had a Bluetooth speaker sitting on the shelf and my moved picked it up to move it so he could grab chips. SHE FLIPPED OUT. Yelling profanities like “eff you b****” “I’ll eff you up” I’m gonna kick your a**” and so much more that it’s not even appropriate to type. Even her co workers were trying to calm her down. She called the cops on us and we waited patiently and explained our side. We told them to review the tapes but of course the manager said there is no cameras at that angle 🤨. The cop obviously knew the manager and the co workers were very embarrassed at her actions. They literally were holding her back while she was cussing at us as we were walking to check out. The cops couldn’t do anything because there is no videos tapes and even if there was they still would’ve seen how crazy she was acting. We are baffled and upset that she would treat paying customers like this. I will be calling cooperate
