What a cute shop! A lot of the "waiting in line for an hour or over 40 people in line" reviews are complete exaggerations since people lack patience. I went on a Monday morning around 11am and while the parking lot was pretty full, I still shopped very comfortably and checked out at a very reasonable time. Definitely will be back! Can't beat those prices!

Waited on line over 45 minutes to buy something somebody else didn't want. I can go to Walmart, get new stuff and get out sooner. The place is a Madhouse. Just getting into the parking lot is a zoo.

Went in today, hoping to purchase a few items. It is a Tuesday at 10:15am. There were at LEAST 40 people in line. Last time I was there, I waited 1 hour in line. There has to be a better TIME to spend my money! I only have 1 day off a week. Please let me know the day(s) to come in and shop with a shorter wait!🙏🏽

Went into grab some winter clothes for the kids while they were in school because of the cold front. I had quite a few items i was considering to purchase, however my son is 9 and wears anything from a 14-18 depending on how it's made. I was reassured by the lady working the counter that if something did not fit I had 7 days to return the items and could bring it back even without a receipt no questions asked so long as Tags are intact was her words.( which was great considering she did not put one in my bag... Not sure if they just do not give them out or if she just didn't but it was Halloween Day and it was very hectic...I had so many items I had to carry some of to my car while she continued to ring up the rest)... She said they keep track of it on the computer system and so tags are what tell them who's items it was that sold and therefor must stay on the items I do not wish to keep..AND it would be no problem to return anything that did not fit......I spent $200 . Today makes the second time I have been in the store attempting to return some of the items that did not fit ... And a broken blood pressure machine. The total of which is maybe 50 bucks and I've been given a excuse each time. First it was that she didn't have enough to do a return that size yet and today the lady said she's not authorized to do a return that size. I have a busy schedule so it's hard to get up here to make the return as is. They should Definitely make it a point to tell you that you can buy items but if your return is over a certain amount you will need to come at a certain time of day and only when the owner is there to do so ...I definitely would not have bought so much if I would have known there would be ANY issue at all to return the things that's did not fit, but the lady who helped me out when I made the purchases made it sound so simple as long as Tags were on!!... I don't know how I'm going to get back up there before the 7 days to return window closes or when the owner will be there because all the woman could tell me was her kid was sick and that's just how these things go..... Really?!?;

I love to go shopping at Kathi's.. the selection is crazy enormous and the prices are the best you'll find around the area ... The employees talk to literally everyone they walk past and are so so friendly and helpful.

Shopped for 15 minutes stood in line for an hour. The drop off line should be in rear of store and the purchase lines should be up front of the store. Combining as it currently is set up for causes long lines that makes me not want to shop there.

It's a great place to come get great deals however if you ever want to get anything good no one will help and on top of that you cant try on anything if its zipped. Be careful whom you ask for help.

Love the drive from San Antonio to Kathi's. I always go in with a budget and I can never stick to it. They always have great deals that makes it hard to pass up.

A nice store shop in there all the timeBUT CHECK YOUR CLOTHESbought jeans & got home took tags off knowing they fit tried on at store had HOLES IN THEM !! around the pocketscould not see them .would not take back!! They should check there clothes better before they except them out of my money 15.00Very 😔 sad whentimes r hard now daysWent down hill when there mom passed just not the same.people on a fix incomeCan't afford to lose money even 15.00.they should be more understandingDon't know where they get a 4 1/2 star from

This place is also a consignment store. They have something coming in everyday. I was able to find shoes and jeans for men at a decent price to donate for the homeless. Loved it!

This place just feels like a warm hug. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. If you're a bookworm, like me, you'll swoon. You can walk out of there with a handful of books and pay less than 20 bucks!!! They always have interesting stuff and you never know what gem you might stumble across. It's like a little treasure trove.

Extremely rude staff. I’ve tried twice and believe me when I tell you they look at you like your a bother and talk down to you. The customers are keeping you in business. Show some kindness or basic human decency.

This was a surprise. I'm new to the area, relatively, and I had no idea it was even there. I still think that all thrift stores are priced to high now, but that's just this administration's way of handling money. This is where we feel it though.

This is a good place to sell your used stuff on consignment. You get 50% of the sale price. We've done really good. You do have to turn over the pricing to them, you have no say. Expect a wait to get through the line to drop off your stuff. They don't separate sales from drop offs unfortunately. However, it's a worthwhile thing to do.

It was a good place to shop as far as selection available. Although you do have to take some time. Lots of stuff to look at. If you are looking for kids clothes there is not a big selection. Also $3.50 is a lot to pay for really worn out tees even if they are name brand. I will take a hard pass. Suggest that you do not go on days they are accepting consignments! You will be in line forever if you are just purchasing items. They could stand to use a better system for that it is chaos. It was my first time in and certainly learned a lot about their store, pricing, and how they run it. The parking lot is a disaster! I was almost hit twice. People just don't pay attention. So be aware of that. Might try again when they aren't doing consignments. Also, if you have to use a walker or wheelchair you may find it really difficult to get around for sure when they are doing consignments! Avoid those days. Check their webpage or call ahead. It is to busy and the store is crowed already Mom had trouble with just a cane.

They need a 2 different checkout lines. One to strictly for purchases and another for bringing in items to resale, it’s unfair to wait in a long line to purchase your thing’s while People are taking so long going back and forth to their vehicle bringing in so many of things. Parking is almost always packed. It’s hard getting out of the parking spot in the front right side of the store. Be careful or you’ll get blocked in. All the ladies that work there are very friendly and helpful, it’s a great resale shop just wish there was a faster way if checking out. Please make 2 separate lanes

I really like going to Kathi's, it's not a huge building but there is a very good variety of items. The employees are very professional. If you like going thrifting or are looking to sell stop on by and check out the wares also speak with one of the ladies if your looking to sell items .

I love the place has great variety, people are nice . . .I thought I would've gotten some sort of revisit to account for items brought in... Seems there is no way to insure accountability, or proof for the seller as to what and quality of items brought...Maybe a form to be filled out and brought in with items....?But, the waiting line is a bit too long.... Maybe a "take a number" approach would help? Also maybe 2 different lines one for selling and 2 for purchasing.... ? Or maybe have one or two more employees during peak hours and days.....? The wait time in line, is quite frustrating, especially since they are no bathroom facilities. Possibly time to expand again....?Other than that love the place and the variety... And the courteous staff.Be blessed

Fun place to bargain hunt! Like all bargain hunting grounds, it's really hit or miss. Best to go regularly to find the good deals. And if you're only going to hunt, DON'T go on a sellers' day; it's so busy!Selling to them is a little tricky as they're very persnickety sometimes, but they have rules and seem to stick to them well. Just sometimes I'm surprised to see some lower quality items for sale when they've turned down good quality ones I've tried to sell. Maybe they just have too much of the same kind of thing?

Popped into Kathi's for the very first time about 20 minutes after the store opened yesterday (Tuesday) and WOW was it hopping! I couldn't believe the crowd- the line was crazy long and I knew I wouldn't have time to wait in it (had to run errands). But after exploring a little I immediately found a couple of decorative items I wanted to buy and was sad to leave them behind! Kathi's is a small-ish store but really clean and well organized. I also thought the prices were amazing- at least on the kitchen items and decorative items that I shopped for (I didn't look at the clothes- but it looked like most of the people in line to buy were purchasing clothes). I'll be back when I have more time and will probably avoid going on a Tuesday when a lot of people go to drop off items as well as buy! This place looks super cute and well-loved by the locals.

I've driven past this place several times and never stopped. Well, last week I had some extra time and stopped into it.They are VERY busy here and the place is awesome. Alor of stuff moved through this place. They are very friendly and helpful. I could even return the item if it didn't work.. I am glad I stopped here and WILL be back.
