Used to be the place to grab delicious chicken from the deli. Still is. Just gotta know when to go and call. You'll get what you want. But they stopped serving potato logs. Was the main reason why I ate from there, Deli. Hopefully, they'll bring them back 🤩😅No issues, except here recently, buying meat that they packaged seems to go bad so fast. Maybe a bad delivery?? I'm not sure. Just be skeptical about what you buy. Even if the expiration date is ✔️.Other than that, the bakery cakes have been great. The girl who designs the cakes does a great job, free hand, I can tell her what I want, allow her to get creative, and she does just that, great priced, doesn't taste bad. 😉Bathrooms have never been an issue, always clean.I have experienced their pharmacy and was okay, but not my goto.

"Crookshire" Brothers $$$$The prices are crazy expensive 🤪Crazier than most markets for this day and age.Ugh just simply the worst meats selections. I realize it's a small town but Brookshire Brothers but it is continously the worst purveyors of meats and some produce too in several of the small towns I've been in recently.It's bad enough we are at your mercy and have to pay the extremely high prices but the quality is again disgusting.I Cannot Wait for the newMexican Carniceria Meat Marketto open up in the very near future.Yeah.......... thank you we will have a great option. 👍

I actually work at the one in Rockdale and apart from the people I work with. I strongly dislike ALL CORPORATE PERSONELL!! IT'S ABOUT MAKING MONEY NOT THEIR EMPLOYEES OR CUSTOMERS!! But I do love to work and I enjoy helping the customers and I like that we sale what Walmart does not!!

Been shopping at brookshire brothers for years not only in Caldwell but others also. Sometimes a little high on some prices but I'd rather spend a few more cents and support my local grocery store than drive 30+ miles to get a small discount,,, not to mention the price of gas nowadays, so it really just about evens out

Was as good as could be expected.... most prices are much higher than HEB in Bryan where I prefer to shop. Was able to find a few good deals. Since Brookshire Brothers is the only supermarket in Caldwell I feel like I can still save more money shopping at HEB

Inside and out of the Caldwell store is very dirty and not kept up. They don.t have any pride in the facility or customers. Half the staff is nice but not out going. No one has ever asked to help you. Some of the front staff looks like they don't even wash their hair.Food is ok but priced like your at Whole foods. The park lot takes a full grown person to push the cart to the auto due to rough old asphalt and holes ruts you name it.I myself along with other folks spend alot of money in this store (cash ) and for the love of the community please clean it up and repair the parking lot .This lufkin based company that my folks and friends have used since the begining is well needed in our area. And I wish it and employees had more pride.And ps refers are making noises and smell bad . Need deep cleaning everywhere.Even with gas high I know alot of folks including myself that make the trip to other towns near to buy food and drink.Thanks for the time , towerman

It's the only place in town so...there is that. Produce rots in a few days and we won't even discuss meat. I only come here between big grocery shopping trips. It's a shame this place has a monopoly in the town that keeps real grocery stores out.

It was my 1st time to this chain of grocery stores and they were reasonably priced however they only had 2 cash registers open and when I got in line for one of them and put all myself up on the belt the cashier suddenly tells me I need to take all myself down and go to the other register because her computer is not cooperate in even though she was checking out somebody as she told me this. So I had a buggy full and was not happy I had to put it all back in my buggy, and go now stand behind 7 other people in the other registers line. Management really needs to train their people better and open more registers when it's busy especially on a weekend.

The store was clean. They had what I wanted great vegetable selection. The only thing I could say is they need more checkers and they need to be friendly when you are checking out

Prices are toooo high! Grape tomatoes were old. Had to look at almost every carton to find ones that weren't wrinkled up. Large Avocados 2.89 each!? Small Avocados 1.99. They were the same size. No sour dough bread. No Baked Lay's potato chips. Two checkers with long lines. You better watch as they scan your items. Caught 2 mistakes that would have added 6.00 to my total. This is why I only shop there when I can't get to HEB. Spent 20.00 at Brookshire. I looked up same items at HEB and total would have been 12.48.

We stopped here to meet with Heather in the bakery dept to discuss wedding cakes. She was friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, & very helpful. The other employees we encountered we cheerful & welcoming. It's a place you would want to return to for grocery shopping.

Very nice employees always willing to help you. The store is very clean and the only downside is the DELI... it just bothers me how you can be standing RIGHT THERE and the deli employees just walk right past you as if you were invisible. Or you have to stand there ringing the bell and still have to wait atleast 3min for someone to walk out of the kitchen. Smh what a shame... overall store gets 5☆ & deli1☆

Always service with a smile!We are SO grateful that the Brookshire Bros. employees took the risk on the subfreezing slick icy roads in the cold storm of 2021 to come into work to be there for us, in providing groceries, meds, and fuel. When everyone else was hunkering down, staying safe and watching their pipes these employees took the risk to trudge into work to be there for US! We thank’ you all! The manager David, and ALL of the employees are the best!

Smells like rotten food upon entry of store. Very overpriced and bad fruit, vegetables and meat that they are selling. People in store are very rude, workers are very very rude-especially the checkers! I was appalled going shopping there! Customers are strung out on some kind of drugs. For a new person coming to town, bad experience! Just a suggestion, beings this is our only grocery store, let's do better. Lower them prices, and good Lord please get better, friendly help/workers!

I find at the store floors here are not up to par. Many markings from shoes or carts or whatever make the floor look dirty. Thank goodness the shelves are clean and full and the employees smile.

Love this store especially the produce department. What a surprise this was moving from the BCS area. It is a large department for such a small town. The produce is fresh and beautifully presented. Employees are constantly stocking and making it THE best. Thanks!!!

I do most of my shopping at Brookshires, because I don't want to drive to Bryan/Collegestation for a lot fairer prices.Not only are you overpriced the customer has to watch that he's not charged full price for items that are on sale. There's been a lot of times that I've been charged full price for items that are on sale and when that happens if you've already checked out then you have to go to the office to get it fixed which is a pain and takes more of your time.The staff is usually pretty good and friendly I like shopping at Brookshires I just hope in the future you start having better prices or I will be forced to start driving to bryan to do my grocery shopping.
