Picked up 2 dogs from Kroger parking lot; took to shelter to be safe. Because I had reported stray dogs in my yard the week before, they refused these dogs stating I was lying and just trying to dump my dogs.

My wife and I found a dog and came here to see if the dog had a chip. Shelby helped us piece together the dogs story. Was adopted from an Arlington shelter and abandoned by the owners a week ago. Shelby gave us all the information we need to get the dog it’s vaccinations and get the chip registered under our names.

I adopted a black kitten named Zeke. I am so happy with this this shelter and the kitten I adopted. Zeke is adapting to his new home and other pets we already had so we'll. He has bonded so well with my gray adult male cat Grady and sleeps on the with us. Thank you Burleson Animal Shelter.

More dog doc holiday and my cats little bit, I Ms. Diva and nunu. Are staying there until we can get them home to us in Kentucky. Thanks to all who work there. Happy birthday doc. Love and miss my animals like crazy

I honestly have no idea how to feel about this one. On one hand I got my pit from here about 3 years ago and love her as part of my family. On the other hand... when I got her I had a husky as well. They questioned me about the arrangement over and over again as to if I intended to breed them (I did, but didn't). When I joked about it and said"oh that'd be cool Pitskies" they got a little less friendly in tone and basically told me that I had to get the pit spade or my husky neutered or they'd have the pit seized because and I quote" we don't want that breed running around"I went through with getting my pit spade. We were both sad. But anyways ever since then I've felt a lack of trust following that encounter. I have a pitskie I just found in the area and need to take it somewhere, but dont trust them to take her and not put her down.

Everyone that worked and volunteered there were extremely interested in helping me and the animals. They all seem to love what they do. The adopting of my new friend was so comfortable and easy! Thank you to all that work and volunteer at Burleson Animal Shelter.

Went with a friend to adopt and couldn’t believe how nice and helpful the staff was. Unbelievable!! Never expected things would go as well as they did, and my friend is super happy with her new baby....Kudos to the ladies at the shelter !!!!😘

Horrible, rude people work here. We live in Burleson on the 1187 side but still Burleson and they REFUSED to take our dog that we needed to surrender. I sent my son to take her and they were so rude to him and his friends. Said we had to go to the Fort Worth Human Society, even though we live in BURLESON. They need to hire new staff. I fear for the animals in their possession.

I cannot say it enough about the amazing help these guys provided When My Shar-Pei got loose and ran all over Burleson for 5 straight days. Chris went out of his way, even on a day when they were closed, to help me. Teri went above and beyond and captured my "runaway" who'd been hit by a car and mauled by a larger animal!! she also referred me to an amazing emergency animal hospital here, which I feel, saved her life. I can't thank them enough!!

The ladies are very rude! They don't give me eye contact when they are talking to me or they don't say have a nice day. One lady was laughing at me because I answer the question wrong. Because i misunderstood the question. Very unprofessional behavior.

We went there looking to adopt a dog the lady up front was very rude and as soon as we left she called the cops saying we "smelt of alcohol " because two men walked in with a box of kittens and we were allowed to pet them the men said guess she didn't like that 😑
