Needed nail trimming for our large husky/shepherd mix <being a novice and all> and they set us up an appointment quickly via email and scheduled us as a walk in and took care of him right away when we arrived. Their prices are exceptional compared to other Vets I have dealt with, with my 2 labs. The one who did the trimming was very nice and patient with our dog. I tried being friendly with the front counter staff while my friend and dog went back. Their response was basically 'we don't know you' and it felt awkward so I just sat quietly. Was glad it went fast. Most places who services animals seem to be more outgoing and friendly. I'm chalking it up to maybe they were busy and didn't have time for chit chat. In any case I rated 5 stars based on the setup time of the appointment, the friendliness of the assistant doing the trimming and the quickness of the service. Being a stranger in Buna I guess people need to get to know you before being cordial? Over all I believe it is a very good place to take your furry loved one and I doubt you could find a better place. Maybe equal, but I would still return to this one if I were here on a permanent basis so we could see if the encounter with staff improved in time.

The staff was very nice. I did have to wait a bit. But I believe that's normal at vet's offices. We just moved to the area, and I was told about Buna Animal Hospital by a friend. I'm glad she told me about them.All 4 of my animals will start coming here. Thank you.

My neighbor found a sick cat that was suffering and we brought the cat to Buna Animal Hospital and the veterinarian and all the staff were very helpful, empathetic and professional. They obviously care for animals and that's why they do what they do.

They've always gone above and beyond to take care of my little furry friend and don't try to get rich off of the misfortune that sometimes pet owners find themselves in. I recommend buna animal hospital to everyone that asks for a good vet.

My pup hurt herself. They took her in on a Saturday and they were slammed. Examined her was very gentle . Answered all my questions and listened to me . Will definitely recomend and will use again.

Cannot get in touch with anyone. Sent emails through their site, no response. Called, was immediately put on hold, then hung up on three times. No way to leave a voicemail when they decide not to answer. Pretty ridiculous.

Buna is the best they have taken good care of my babies! I would recommend them any day! You call them when they are closed because your furbaby is sick they immediately call you back and there staff is just as amazing as dr. Kim and dr. Dennis they have been so patient and so kind even when your a nervous wreck because your dog is stubborn thank you buna animal hospital and staff for taking care of my furbabies

Spent another $350 getting follow up care for my pup after his neuter there. Pain meds, antibiotics, xrays to make sure the sutures weren’t too deep since he wouldn’t urinate, and a gnarly scar.....unacceptable.

Our regular vet was closed. They took us as a walk-in and were very kind and generous! We love our regular vet BUT we will definitely use Buna as a weekend/back-up option!!!

I'm so thankful the staff was able to fit my puppy in their busy schedule. Office is open on Saturday which is great for me since I'm extremely busy on weekdays. Excellent pet care provider for an affordable price. Worth the drive from Beaumont!.I highly recommend Buna Animal Hospital !

The STAFF is GREAT‼️Gretchen's Doctor, Dr Kim Foster, was SO PATIENT and KIND and even MANAGED TO GET ALL HER NAILS CLIPPED (she is DEFINITELY NOT A USER FRIENDLY DOG)and spoke with me about her allergies and how often to bathe her and what shampoo.Absolutely LOVE Buna Animal Hospital ❤️‼️

Brought my lab in she was deathly ill with a high fever. We did not have an appointment but they were so gracious to work us in. The Doctor and his assistant were very thorough and so nice. All of my questions were answered and my dog has made a full recovery. I am so happy. We have found our new vet!

I have been to these ladies multiple times. Unfortunately my little guy has more heart than fight. I called them today at closing time and they not only stayed open to check my pup out, but performed an emergency surgery on him. They have kept my little guy alive and well more than once. I am forever grateful.

I have used Buna Animal Hospital since 1993. I've even moved to Lumberton and still drive to Buna whenever my pets need to be seen. I have had to euthanize several pets throughout the years and they have been one of the most compassionate veterinarians I have met. Two and a half years ago. I got a rat for a pet and they have even taken care of my rat. They are wonderful people and certainly worth the drive!
