My husband and I took our two chihuahuas to get groomed. When we came to pick them up my husband got Oreo out of his cage. Blood started running down my husbands arm. She told us he jumped and almost cut his toenail off. Then as we are waiting on her to finish Hope, Oreo started bleeding on his ear. We asked her what happened and she said it was no big deal he would be alright. She had already put medicine on his ear and didn’t say a word about it until we found it. She had cut a piece of his ear off. When you go to pick him up he just cowards down, he has been traumatized. On top of that, she made me pay full price for both. Just unreal, I thought groomers were trained better than this.

Tamara has been grooming monkey for 8 years And he is not the easiest pup to deal with. She is amazing with him and always does a very professional job.

I've been taking my Rosie to see Tamara since she opened her business. When I go out of town, Safe Haven is my 'go to' place. Rosie loves it there as she's never confined to a cage. She has the freedom to roam the large fenced area. An air conditioned room is available throughout the day via access through a doggie door. And she's welcomed into their home to stay the night. I feel she's so well taken care of that I'm worry free while I'm away. I usually have her bathed, nails trimmed, ears and anal glands cleaned while she is there. Today, for the first time, I had Tamara groom her with a short clipping to make her more comfortable in this Texas heat and humidity. I think we’ll both be happier. She will be cooler and I won’t have so much hair to clean up.

Great job done right and such a sweet staff. My dog was a puppy and never been groomed. They were sweet and loving to him so he was never stressed. Now he is trained without having behavior and gets a great look every time. Thank you Safe Haven.

MY FAMILY HAS BEEN USING SAFE HAVEN FOR OVER A DECADE TAMARA AND HER STAFF ALWAYS DO A GREAT JOB WITH GROOMING WE BOARD THERE ALSO MY DOGS FEEL RIGHT AT HOME THE RUSSELLS HAVE A BIG PLACE AND THE DOGS CAN PLAY IN THE OUTDOORS INSTEAD OF BEING CAGED AT OTHER BOARDING PLACES

We've had our dog Brownie boarded with safe haven 2 times in the last month and I highly recommend them. They treat him so well and like he's one of their family. They only board 4 dogs at a time so they personally get to know your dog.

If there was a spot for no stars that's what I would choose for this establishment. I called before hand and asked the cost to groom 3 dogs she told us $45 a piece not I ending up paying $230. Well get this it took over 5 hours I get there to pick up fur babies and my little girl shorkie had a bald spot in her back and neck. Then I get home and noticed the male shorkie had been cut numerous times with the clippers. Sadly that wasn't it the next morning his eye was full of blood on the left size. She had to have stabbed him with scissors. Then I examine his other eye and he had a cut at the top and bottom of his right eye. He had clipper cuts all over him. It also seemed as if she didnt bathe any of the dogs. However when I picked them up you know she had to have known what she had done. Because she was giving me everything on the counter leashes and all. This person isn't stable enough to deal with fur babies and she wouldn't return my calls for a refund. She also wouldn't accept checks hmmm I wonder why because she must mess up a lot and people cancel payment because the service is awful!!

They did a great job on our dog! Very sweet ladies, quick service and reasonable prices. They also helped make me aware of a health issue with her teeth that I was unaware of, so that was very helpful.

Please don't use this place she cut our baby's beard off cut his skirt off he is all gapped up every time we try to go close to him he cowards down this is our baby he has only been to the same groomer since he was born this woman does not know how to groom or care for dogs please don't take your dog to her our baby has been traumatized by her very unhappy 😩

Tamara is so good with Our for baby! She comes back beautifully groomed, smells great. I love how nice she is to talk to you when you drop your dogs off when you pick them up couldn’t ask for a better groomer. Thank you, Tamara.
