East Texas Pet Crematory (also Boren-Conner Funeral Home) took care of all the details when our cat Bella crossed over the rainbow bridge. I'm very grateful for the kind and considerate way things were handled. Her urn is absolutely beautiful and included certificate of cremation, rainbow bridge poem, and “forget me not” seeds. I highly recommend East Texas Pet Crematory. Thank you for making a heartbreaking situation a bit easier.

We lost our beloved pup of 15 years today and being so greif stricken we were looking for a high quality and reputable place to have our baby girl taken care of properly, we saw this place had 5 stars so we thought they must be pretty good. They are ANYTHING but good so the good reviews must be friends or family.I came in to a woman who first off was dressed like she worked on a farm all day. Not one sense of professionlism. I mentioned I called about our pup needing arrangements and she never said she was sorry, just went right into getting the paper work done. After paying her $160, she tells me to drive around back, (im thinking to bring her to where they take my pup inside and they take care of her after we leave, which is normally how it's done) but this was not a normal place.Not only did we not bring her to the back of the building but we had to drive to the actual crematorium building where you see everything (the crematory ovens, the metal wheel tables they put them on when they're put in to be cremated) and the cart this woman wheeled out was filthy and rusty, and was yelling while waving her arms likr a lunatic "back it up right here so you can drop it off here", that "IT" was our dog whom we just lost, this was beyond traumatic. This is downright cruel of people's emotions after they are already suffering a tragic loss. If this is how they treat pets id hate to know how they treat humans. So matter of fact about it like we were there to drop off garbage to be burned. Because we came here, our pups death will forever be more horrific and tragic because we almost would have left her here and who knows if we would even have gotten her actual cremains back. I demanded our money back and we took our pup elsewhere where the woman there actually had compassion. Maybe the old woman who does this at this place should find a different side hustle because she should NOT be working in a place like this. I'd find more compassion at an actual funeral than at this funeral home. Truly barbaric how they "make arrangements".If you truly love and respect your pets, don't bring them here. Theres a reason their prices are so cheap.

Five stars does not do justice for the quality of service we received from East Texas Pet Crematory. I wish I could give them 10 stars. When we lost our Shih Tzu we were devastated. Some of you may know what I am talking about when I say she was more than just a pet to us. Joe Kasson met with us to pick her up, and in a time that we needed compassion, caring, and understanding, he gave it. He treated us just like we had lost a family member, and we had. I HIGHLY recommend their services and it is a comfort knowing if and when we face another difficult loss, they will take care of us.
