One star review is I will never go there again. 2 star review is I will go only if needed. But this is a 3 star cause they do have sales. And I will go if something is on sale at a good price. And that's what this is with the reason bieng the prices. The store has extremely high prices. I'd rather drive to Walmart or Sam's and stock up. Unfotunately some folks can't and have no other option since it's the only grocery store in town. I personally will avoid this store as much as possible.

Only place in town we have to shop for groceries. They are very pricey. The day shift crew are very nice & helpful, however if you go after 5pm, good luck finding someone or anything & especially with checking out. Oh if they have to call the manager, there never seems to be one available. If the cashier has to call a bagger to go get another product because the one you have got busted, they can never find it & take forever. You just have to go get it yourself. I soooo hate leaving bad reviews but maybe corporate will see my comment & help this store out. Just maybe.

I like our local grocery store. Their stock of some items could certainly be improved, but the staff is normally helpful. The fried chicken at the deli is a plus! The manager is a hard worker and seems to do his job well.

Clean. Great customer service, they are always willing to go the extra mile to help you get what you are looking for. Produce seems well stocked and fresh. Great selection and cuts of meats.Although I have asked them if they could order the John Morrell beef bacon due to the fact I am allergic to pork. I found the beef bacon in a Brookshire Brothers in Temple, TX. while visiting friends there, and I haven't found it in any of the B&B's within a reasonable distance from my house. I hope they can get it in soon. It tastes just like pork bacon ( I wasn't always allergic to pork...) I love this beef bacon! It is cured the same way and with the same seasonings. I'm not a fan of turkey bacon. I have nothing negative to say about the Brookshire's in Buffalo. They try to take care of customers' needs. If they don't have it, they will do everything they can to get it in the store.

This is the only store close to us so we try to shop local for our groceries. Prices are a bit higher but expected. We have started trying to wait until we have a big list so it is worth going 30 miles to shop. One of the last most obvious things that made us decide this is my weekly gallon of milk. It costs $5.59 here and $3.12 at Walmart. Chicken breasts are about $2.00 a pound less at Walmart too. With all the chicken farms in the neighborhood?These are considered staples in my home where our fixed income is getting stretched more every month. Wish someone could figure out how to get local sourced groceries at least as economical as the stuff that has to be shipped in from elsewhere, but saving $50-70 a month has become more important.

I accidentally left a lower review with zero context and just saw a response! Thank goodness I got that message. The staff here works hard and the store is always neat. You can tell that they really care for their customers. I love this store and highly recommend. The baggers are always willing to help and the manager Gilbert seems to know just about everyone. It never feels uncomfortable here as a customer. Thanks Brookshire Brothers!

This was in Buffalo, Texas. A nice store. Not as big as the one in Flint. I was able to find what I needed. A man offered to take my groceries out. Did not realize he worked there. I said no thank you. Not used to anyone carrying out groceries anymore. It sure is nice going back in time.

Electronic coupons not credited to bill after account info entered. Waiting on response from corporate. Next day got email response and turns out the coupon processing system was not functioning. They are sending me a gift card to compensate. This, to me, speaks volumes about the integrity of the company and how much they value their customers. Love these guys!!Continue to shop this location. Staff is always friendly and greets us upon entering the store. Produce and meat departments always have what we need.

Great little grocery store in Buffalo, TX. They have the essentials. The size of the store limits selections but you can almost always find what you need. Love the friendly small town feeling when shopping. Always clean and stocked with fresh veggies.

This grocer has improved a lot since we moved to the area in 2017. My only complaint is the store doesn't offer ground chicken or pork, Turkey Loins, and a variety on Lentil Pastas. My husband is diabetic and I would very much like the availability of a wider range of products. Other than that the produce department is always beautiful and fresh. And I really like the chicken tenders from their Deli Department.

Logan was the first person I encountered. He was sweet professional and helped me get a ride on buggy. The store was active with staff and customers. It was clean and easy to maneuver especially for handicapped. The staff was helpful with meeting my needs if they seen me struggling to get things off the shelf. As we checkout the clerk was prompt professional but yet down to earth. They helped even to the car. This store is def hometown friendly!

The service today was very good. The cashier and the gentlemen helping were great to deal with and knew us, so joked and made us feel welcome. Some good sales on meat also. Could use a wider variety of selections.

Fairly decent store. Staff is typically polite and helpful. Prices are slightly high on some items, but for those who live locally, not high enough to merit a trip elsewhere unless you are buying large quantities (i.e. those who shop for a month's worth at a time). They do run minimum checkers tho, so it's not uncommon to have to wait in line for some time. But really, most of us have run into that at pretty much every grocery store.

It is nice to finally go to a store that actually cares about what they do and the people they take care of. They dont just throw everything in the bags they put things in with care and are extremely respectful. I love how it feels like its actually a community and not just a random store. They had everything i needed and more. Love this place!

I'll never go on a Sunday again. It was 1 cashiers with 11 people with baskets. Then when more came, I got the attitude cashier. I bag my own groceries. I had alot of groceries the guy just said have a good day. In Palestine the guys help you so fast. It just mad me have a bad attitude but I walked in happy.

Even though the corona has people in a craze and shelves were pretty empty, was still able to find most of the things I needed. This store is always so friendly and helpful. I ended up buying 6 of the plants from outside and noticed a lot of trumpet plants. These are highly poisonous plants. All parts of this plant is dangerous to humans and small animals. The flowers are beautiful but I don’t want to risk it. Just touching the leaves and scratching your nose can cause serious side effects. May want to read up on this plant would hate someone not familiar plant it where children play. Thank you.

I bought FOUR items, pork rinds, cotton balls, an orange and a can of chili; the bagger gave me THREE bags. WHY?! It does not make any sense to me. I have shopped at this store for ten years and they have always seemed to have this issue. I swear if there was another store close by I would shop there. I do have a nice comment, the employees are always nice and helpful.

Shelves are never stocked when things are on sale, and the store director cares little about following through to make sure things are done right.... Unless he knows he is getting a "visit" ( which he is Warned about each time), then it's all hands on deck. Forget the customer; it's time to clean!
