Just a fantastic experience. My dogs are very friendly and the staff has no problem giving them attention even outside of procedures we’re there to do. They’re relaxed with the treats and so gentle with them, as long as I’m in the area they are the vet clinic for me and so recommend them to everyone!

I was visiting the area when my furry companion suddenly became overheated, and I found myself in a dire situation. Despite having never been to this vet before, the staff at Lake Animal Hospital went above and beyond to help us.As soon as I walked in with my distressed pup, the team at Lake Area Animal Clinic sprang into action. They stopped everything they were doing, assessed the situation, and took my dog in for immediate care. The sense of urgency and professionalism they displayed was truly commendable.Throughout the ordeal, the staff made sure to keep me informed and involved in the process. NEVER EVER TAKE YOUR PETS HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM ☠️☠️☠️Horrible Horrible people . They don't care about anything but money. And even if you have money they disrespect you , belittle you then act as if you've done them wrong. As.i was.paying these greedy.cruel , money grumbling fools. They were talking toe as if my money was no good. They let their personal feelings sway there judgment and if they are the least bit professional I never saw it. They let fur babies die for no reason. Because if this slaughter house I lost my beautiful boxer puppy. Want a real vet go to Burnet. Find Dr. Mcbride hes a human being that truly cares about animals regardless of what he thinks of the owners. These people should have their license taken away as they are the monsters in my opinion.

My sweet.boxer got parvo. I went to the lake area vet in a panic. The Dr. Was great, very informative. Not real.hopeful.buy thoroughly explained everything. The staff was great, caring, and kind. The Dr. Told.me it woild.be near $800 to try to save her. I agreed . Then I was told I could put half down, and they took my little.puppy.back. then some rude nasty and very money hungry woman took over, demanding the payment in full. Mind you she hadn't even been even started with any treatment, and this nasty rude, very unprofessional person began to belittling me.and talk do2n to me insinuating I had no money as I am on the phone transferring funds. She nag nag naged umtil.id had enough and told.her I'm writing your check step back out of my face and silence her money grabbing. She blew up. I had had more than enough and cussed her disgusting self out telling her exactly what I felt, and she threw my little puppy out and told me to take her he and watch her die. Never to step foot in the place againAs if I or anyone I know would. Whoever that vial inhuman trashy woman was warrents much more than this review. Im seeking legal measures to ensure she doesn't abuse any other traumatized person and they're animals agin. She should be and hopefully be held accountable for her greedy money, hungry and rude disrespectful mannerisms, and extremely unprofessional business ethics. In my opinion, they don't care about anything but your money defiantly not your fur, babie. Sad how greed and the love of money, the root.of all evil, it turns people's hearts so black. I hope she finds herself.in.tje same position I did. And I hope she's treated with exactly the opposite of how she treated me. Perhaps she needs a lesson in humanity and respect she obviously failed to learn from her elders. And I hope she knows she deserves much less, but there are professional people in the world that she doesn't deserve to be even acknowledged by. I’ve been taking my dogs to Lake Area Animal Clinic for 13 years. I love Dr. Scott Pollard. He is exceptional and very thorough with his exams of our dogs. He is gentle and kind and explains every tiny detail. He gives instructions and answers all questions. The vet techs are all wonderful and so is the office staff. I’ve been 100% pleased with this staff at this clinic for many years.

I wish I could give these Vets and their staff more stars! I’ve been taking my dogs to Lake Area for well fifteen years. Most recently my 9-1/2 year old dog suddenly developed pulmonary edema and labored breathing. Dr. Polly saw him and treated him and took a good deal of time to help me understand how to continue his care! Three days later he was back to his original, energetic and enthusiastic self! I can’t thank them enough.

We are so fortunate to have found Dr. Pollard! He is an amazing and very knowledgeable vet. He takes as much time as you need to discuss your pet’s condition and treatment options.On our last visit, he spayed our dog. The staff treated her like a princess and her incision was stitched better than anything I have ever seen. We love this practice and all the people there are exceptional!!

Quick and painless and I believe my dog actually enjoyed the two vaccine shots between samples of cheese wiz! The lab tech was very kind and reassuring to my pet who was really nervous at first, then relaxed. Very friendly and professional and caring!

For over 30 years this is who we have trusted to care for our precious 4-legged family members. You can tell that they truly love animals and that they understand how important they are to their families. As always I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We have taken our dogs in the past. A cat ended up on our porch one night and decided to stay, checked FB and around town if she was missing. Finally having time to get her checked out we made the appointment to check for a chip and see if she was spayed. She was not chipped and she had been spayed. She was a little bit spicy during examination but according to the amazing vet tech, there have been spicer animals. Thank you all, so have an extremely happy child who has always wanted a cat.

The minute we (Lola and me) walk in the door we feel at “home”. From the front office personnel, Vet Techs to our Vet, Dr. Pollard, we are greeted and cared for with respect and like we are the only patient in the office all the while knowing the waiting room is filled with pets and their parents awaiting their turn!
