Very nice.super nice people's. that treat you like family . All day and all year . Been going their for some years .they still treat you like family. Hometown sweet country feel. You may pay a little more and not as many options like chain stores but you always feel like your home when shopping here. Helping small businesses stay up and running is something we should all do and you won't regret the love you feel in this country store.

Y's Hometown is a great grocery store good selection excellent meat department They have some items I haven't seen in a long time. Next time you're in there you gotta pick up one of the fresh pies they're excellent and I love the wood floors

Friendly hometown grocery store. The owner is nice and the employees are very friendly. If they don’t have something I just ask and see if they may get it in next time. I either go before work or go after work but they are always there to help me when I need it. And they help you with your food to the car which is a plus. Even though I’m not from here they still make me feel like I’ve lived here all my life. Thank you for that.

I love this quirky, vintage hometown grocery which ingeniously stocks a comprehensive variety of staples, along with a quality meat department, in a tiny space with age-worn wood floors. The true gem is the in-house bakery, providing delicious sweet treats, and (the best part) fresh, authentic breads! My sincere dream is Y's Hometown Foods will expand into a sister business of a fulltime, full-service bread bakery, complete with desserts. Henderson County desperately needs such a business.

Y's is a throwback to yesterday. It's an old country store with rickety wooden floors. Parking is limited to the street in front and on the side. They have the basic things you probably need and have a decent meat department. They do not have Walmart prices. What they do have is friendly service and a hello for everyone who comes in. This is a very locally owned and operated home town store.

It's like the old fashioned grocery stores ya don't see anymore. Small, but always fully stocked. Prices are a bit higher but, for the convenience and especially not having to deal with people at the big grocery stores, it's a very nice place to pick up a few groceries.

I have not been to this place since I was little and I went a few days ago and I could not believe how homie it felt to be in the store and all the fresh vegetables produce everything was so nice neat clean even for a very old country store mr. Wise is really kept it up. good going

Small town grocery with in-house bakery and fantastic meat counter. Get custom cuts of meat and fresh daily bakery with all the grocery staples in a convenient little store right in small town Brownsboro. Yes, the floors creak and the aisles are narrow. Yes, there are less than a hundred choices of everything, but you can get almost anything you need and get it at a reasonable price without running to the city.Reminds me of a little IGA store when I was a child. Love it.
