This place is the absolute best and cleanest spot to bring your pet. The pet wash is always clean, well stocked, and working well. The cashier staff are always friendly and greet you upon entry.We tried once to use the grooming department to have our senior basset groomed, but it didn’t work out due to his stress and anxiety. Something came up during his attempted scheduled service, and the grooming staff called me immediately to let me know. The staff went the extra mile in keeping him comfortable until I was able to pick him up. I am very grateful for the professionalism, care, and patience from the grooming staff in taking care of our boy!

I have been going here for years. Great grooming services too. They also have a very nice area where you can bathe and dry your dog yourself. The store is very clean and organized. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I just wish they carried more top recommended dog and cat food brands recommended by veterinarians.

Everyone is nice, friendly, and helpful. I go here for all of my dog's needs.The groomers are fast and do a great job. They schedule you in a way that they are able to focus on your dog and not have him in a cage. They also will text/call you when they are done.They have a huge variety of quality food and treats. The prices are pretty good too, Think of it as a neighborhood PetSmart or Petco, but better.

I know I can always count of PSP! Whether it's after work, on the weekends, or right before closing time. They always help me get what I'm looking for and help take it out to my car as well. My dog and I are happy loyal customers!

Just moved into town and was looking for a new groomer. We took our shih tzu to Pet Supplies groomers for the first time and had a great, very young and nice groomer who did a great job (her name is Shelby). The second time going, we had a different groomer who had THE WORST attitude, spoke to us horribly and who REFUSED to properly groom our dog due to “matting”. We told her that she’s been groomed before in this condition, and she still refused, giving us snarky remarks and then proceeded to shave our dog. Since then, we have been apprehensive from taking our dog back, which is unfortunate because we truly did enjoy the first experience. Other reviews have had similar experiences to ours, which are directed towards that RUDE groomer named Lindsey.

I just love this place in Brookshire, just down the road from Katy, Texas. The people there are so friendly and greet you upon entering the shop. There is a grooming department for self-serve pet washes and/or schedule/walk-in for services. Prices are reasonable for grooming services as well as pet supplies.

I scheduled a nail trim that was completed fast and professionally! While waiting I searched for a dog body harness and Karen went the extra mile to make sure the one I liked would fit. Unfortunately my dog needed a XXL that was out of stock, but she was willing to check their other stores!Appreciate that level of service all around! Great store and staff in Young Ranch!

I absolutely love this place! The owner took his time explaining the different foods to my husband and me. The GROOMERS are awesome. I love and recommend Lynn and Kullen. I have a Shih Tzu and a Doberman and the groomers do a great job. I’m sure all the Groomers are great but they are the only two that I’ve had the pleasure of taking my pups to. Definitely recommend this place 💕

I had a few really bad experiences at this location with their grooming service and one specific groomers attitude , so I stopped taking my dog there for the last 8 months . Aside from the argumentative and rude attitude of the groomer who apparently has not had any customer service training , anything my dog had any sort of matting , instead of helping dematt her , she would shave my dog . I thought that was normal until I had my dog’s boarding place do her grooming and they did not shave my dog , instead they spend the time and dematted her and charged me the same place and this place with much better service . I have taken much dog there since and never once have they shaved her . My groomer at the new place was out on PTO so I decided to take my dog to this place again for grooming and as soon as I arrived the groomer again with her disgusting attitude said your dog is matted and she needs to be shaved, I asked can u at least wash her ? She goes no it will Matt more , I told her just do her nails since I was already there and I’ll take my dog for grooming else where . Someone from the management needs to have a talk with this groomer about her work and her attitude . She is very disrespectful. I’m not going to be returning this place again . Her name starts with an L and ends with a Y. She really looks and acts like she hates her job .

This is a great, local pet store. The staff is helpful and friendly. I’m able to find most everything I need and usually at a competitive price. If you sign up for rewards they send out regular coupons. We buy dog baths in bulk when they go on sale due to my large, hairy dog. Our groomer was patient and cleaned up our border collie mix who was long overdue. He loves spending time in the store picking out bones. We have a 3 dogs, 1 cat and a fish and this is our go to pet store.

The only reason this is getting 1 star is because their grooming department is decent. As for the rest of the staff, they’re rude and argumentative. I live 2.5 minutes away, literally, from this location and frequent it monthly. Today we called this location when leaving our house to confirm they had what we were after. They said yes, they only had one can left so they would put it behind the counter for us. We arrive, ask for the canned goods, it’s no where to be found and there’s nothing on the shelf. After sometime spent looking by the employee, the employee then argues with us, telling us we must’ve called the wrong location because they haven’t received a call. I assured them we called the correct location and they then proceed to give us lesson on how to navigate their phone services. The overall interaction with all three male employees was extremely rude and acted as though they couldn’t care less. I’ve been a customer since this location opened, and spend hundreds here monthly, and after this, I 100% will not be back.

Everyone here is so nice and helpful. They have wide selection of toys, snacks and food choices for dogs. The bathing/grooming staff is amazing. I have a pup that has seizures and they are fantastic with her. She has not once had a seizure after an experience there. That shows she wasn’t stressed out! Thank you!

Store is nice, stocked and people are friendly. It is also convenient to my home. I have used their grooming services a few times and they are good too. They do a good job. However, the last couple times I made an appointment with them they were always a few days out. Fine! that is how most places are. What is making them lose a couple stars is the day of my grooming appointment, after I confirm my appointment the day before, I got a call a couple hours before my scheduled appointment and it is canceled because their groomer is out, leaving me scrambling to find a last minute appointment somewhere else. The first time I gave them a pass, it can happen to anyone, However, 2 months later when I made another appointment, it happened again. It is starting to feel like a pattern.

With a smile and gritted teeth expect to get policed, lectured straightened out and fixed if possible. Points of contention: parking, how I enter the store, what my purchase intentions are my dog food my grooming habits are all up for debates and lectures and arguments. Heaven forbid I should ask for extra help or advise. Everytime I go here I am reminded of how out of the norm I am and how together they are. I own a business have 6 employees I am 56 years old and have 16 grandkids and I have made through okay so far. I don't need a trip back to grade school especially by 30 years old probably still living at home. Mind your own business and when asked by all means perform the tasks asked of you.

Brandy was so helpful at the Young Ranch store. She assured me as soon as I walked in the door. She recommended dog food for my picky French bulldog and I’m so glad she did. As soon as I got he he ate it up. She also suggested the vitamin chew I need for his joints. It was a pleasant experience and I will return.

Terrible experience with the Grooming Team. We made a reservation for a deshedding service. When we got there the groomer was in a very bad mood and she was disrespectful and she said that she did not have time for the service, for that reason she was going to shave my dog instead. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️I was a regular customer, after today I won’t go there anymore

UPDATE! 5/6/2022Unfortunately my time with Pet Supplies plus has come to an abrupt end. I usually do not leave bad reviews, but I feel so disrespected and undervalued that I feel I need to. First off, I am constantly in this pet store spending tons of money on 3 pets. I had a coupon that I didn't realize was one day expired. I was told it was not valid and I mentioned to the young man that I would hope that they would honor it especially sense I buy from them multiple times a month. Apparently thelead manager Kaitlyn did not appreciate my comment and was Uber rude. She rudely told me that she would not honor it in the future despite how many times I was in their store a month. I called her after leaving because her attitude towards a customer was out of line and she should have remained professional or at least gave me a kind remark /explanation. I told her that if my asking came across rude, I apologized, yet she still shouldn't have been straight up unprofessional towards me. I gave her several minutes to apologize to me and make me feel like a valued customer, but she failed big time.She acted like my asking them to honor a 10% discount coupon was disrespectful. It was not and a normal question most would ask. I'll be taking my hundreds of dollars down the street. There is a large variety to choose from in multiple types of pets. Very helpful and friendly staff. Dog wash and grooming onsite too.
