DG Market has a friendly staff and Good Groceries! There's also a dollar section👍. I love it there .I can check out as fast as I can get it done. They're open early and close late which is awfully convenient for us folks in Brookshire Texas.

If I could leave a ZERO star I would. The older white man named KENNY at this location is very rude and extremely unfriendly. While I was there I was checking out with Mr Horacio which was very kind and helpful and while I was checking out there was a young black man checking out in self checkout. When the young man asked for some assistance from Mr KENNY he was met with rude words and a question into this young man's intelligence. I KID YOU NOT MR KENNY upon the young man asking about paying with cash on those self checkout registers responded to the young man "CAN YOU NOT READ THE SIGN SAYS CARD ONLY!" and I mean he yelled this at the young man it was completely uncalled for. After I was done checking out with Mr Horacio (a young hispanic man) he even had rude words and attitude for his coworker. I felt and still feel he is being racist towards anyone that isn't his own. I will be returning to speak to the store manager about this and I will report it higher if needed this man is awful!

I picked up center cut pork chops today. I took it out of the fridge to cook. Cut the packaging. This horrible smell came out of the package. I will never buy meat there again. Gross. The vegetables had mold too... WARNING, YOU COULD POISON YOUR FAMILY....

I love the new layout of the store. So glad they finally remodeled it!! I use to skip this DG and go to the one in Pattison. Happy to be able to shop here again. Make Brookshire great again!!

It's always cluttered in there. The many times I've been, the staff have never greeted me when entering. They don't offer any help and are very unfriendly. Their customer service definitely needs work, especially since this location is in a small little town.The shopping selection is actually great compared to other Dollar General's I've been too. I only go when something I can't find anywhere near me, they may have.

Cancelled pickup orders twice after the pickup window closed with no explanation as to why. Very frustrating especially when using coupons that are expiring.

First time visit. This location has a great selection of items in stock! I generally don't see such a well organized Dollar General and I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping experience! Only downside was having to call for assistance after waiting at the register for a few minutes. Cashier was friendly! I recommend this Dollar General!!

It has clean aisles majority of time. They have good hours. Good employees, though they seem understaffed now that business has picked up lately. Which is the only reason for 1 less star. They've even added a fresh fruits/vegetables section to the store.

The Dollar General intro says, " Bargain retail chain selling a range of household goods, groceries, beauty products & more". Yeah sure, I like the products, and the prices but holy cow, I do not want to spend 20 minutes in there! To be fair, the women working as cashiers are just great and sweet... but slow and understaffed. Dollar General, get your stuff right and hire just one more person, please! You cheap a** b******'s. I'll check back in a couple of years. So long for now.

Horrible service, only one register self check out machine has issue and no one wants to help check you out close this store down. I called to ask for a manager to let them know of my experience and she said no one is available no one wants to work here.

Beware of them not telling you that you forgot an item in one of their bags. Happened to me and several others. Not sure if person behind u gets the product or they just reimburse themselves. Had to buy a couple items twice cause she said she's busy checking people out not making sure everyone grabs their products from their turnstyle

It is a convience store posing as a 99 cent store. That being said, I go there about once per week to buy soda (generally 3 - 24 can cases for $11) and other items. Store personel and customers are not serious about Corvid. Store personel are woked very hard for minimum pay. The store is cluttered and not very clean.

Never has good clearance items usually sold out of deals when i get there but i like it cause its convenient maybe limit customers when deals start so everyone can have a chance at deals.

It was out of the product I needed but I got an alternative, so it was ok. The place was disorganized, but at least there was nothing on the floor. I will go again to buy something really quick. It took longer to check out than what it took me to get what I needed.

Good place, with great deals on season items, we got our Easter items there, and they had a big selection o. Everything from Easter eggs till decorations.
