This is our go to hardware store. If Ace doesn't have something (like Sheetrock, etc, we go to Lowe's in Decatur, but we try to go here as much as we can. The people are super nice and we love the cats. Our kiddos know all the cats by name. It's just a nice store.

I bought a chainsaw yesterday from them. I got all my work done, and they made sure and told me not to hurt myself! I didn’t and I’m just really happy with everything that they did for me; it’s a really good saw, and a really good deal! Stihl ms- 162 for $179.99 after 20 dollars off, but for a limited time on the 20 off.

I love shopping at this location! They always have what I'm looking for and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I also like the fact that I can shop locally. When they say "Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks", this is the store they're talking about!

Nice store and great location. Items are arranged for easy access. No real garden section with plants but plenty of gardening supplies. Large parking lot that will accommodate most rigs. Employees are friendly and helpful.

This is a spacious store with a wide variety of high quality and name brand products. It doesn't matter if you don't know where to find anything, because you will invariably get intercepted by a friendly staff member shortly after you walk in the door. This also happens to be the closest hardware store to my house, and I am thankful they are there.

I'm very appreciative that we have an Ace Hardware in Bridgeport. It's clean and well organized, and there is always someone friendly to assist me if needed. Selection is pretty good (no lumber), and they are open 7 days a week with hours comparable to Lowes or Home Depot. While it does not carry as many options as the bigger stores, they've never failed to have what I need for my "honey-do" list. Prices are a little higher but are usually offset by the gas I would consume driving to one of the bigger stores. Hope they are here to stay!

I don't typically shop at Ace, but I really enjoyed this visit. When we walked in, there were multiple cats inside the store. They were very calm and friendly as I walked up and said hello. A nice gentleman asked if we needed any help and showed us to the correct section. I believe there were a total of four friendly felines that didn't mind being pet as we were headed toward the checkout. They also had coffee by the front door. Stop by and visit this friendly store.

The guys the have running this place are lacking and have no clue what they’re doing ! Went in filled out form to order keys called three times and 2 weeks go by and they still haven’t ordered them so I just ordered the keys take them in to have them cut. They won’t cut the keys unless I buy there generic blank keys so tell them I’ll buy there generics and just cut themOn the keys I ordered . They cut there generic and say I need to order there blanks that are exactly what I brought in and tried to order by stoping in filling out sheet and calling 3 times in 2 weeks . Makes no senses I tried to do it that way but can’t wait another 3 weeks on keys because they won’t do their job ! Guess there to worried about there cats instead of working !

I went in today to get to glass fuses for our microwave. There were only three people in the store and not a one of them could help me find it or get the right kind. I mean they absolutely have zero knowledge on what I needed. I came in with it written down and I still got home with two incorrect ones and my husband was very mad. I had to find them by myself and then you got home with the wrong ones. It is my last time to do business with this store.

Friendly staff. They're happy to answer any questions and help you out. They have a good selection to choose from. They sell my favorite tools (Milwaukee) so thats nice. I would definitely recommend this place and I will most definitely be stopping by again in the near future.

Checker tried to over charge me for Traeger grill products. And had the nerve to suggest I was wrong when I knew to the contrary that they were not per item within the bag. Then he charged me double for a single bag of Traeger pellets. To the store's credit I was credited the second bag that I never purchased. I will check to make sure I got that credit. The other issue I have.... what business owner believes it makes sense to have cats crawling all over the business check out counter? I don't hate cats, however I am allergic to cat dander and I don't want to carry that home with me when I check out. Why it makes sense to have cats crawling around your ACE hardware store is beyond me and I don't care if it's small town Bridgeport or Dallas. I've never seen this behavior in any ACE Hardware store. Thinking I might remember to use ACE Denton when I am in that direction and for God's sakes not use ACE Bridgeport!
