I wouldn't recommend anyone to this store. They are the ONLY grocery store in Brazoria and they take advantage of that by over pricing EVERYTHING. Then they don't keep an eye on "Use By Date"s and spoiled produce. I've showed them the bad produce. They took it from me and placed it back on the shelf in front of me. Today I took them moldy cheese. There were bags of shredded cheese that were swollen and needed to be taken off the shelf that they left there. The broccoli ALL were light green, turning brown and soft and flimsy! Either the employees are told to put it back and try to sell it or the employees don't care about it being on the shelf! Either way, Stewart's needs to step up their game!

Very nice and friendly people. Got 2 water bottles, a money order, and some snacks. If you use your card, the money order has a $3 fee. The water bottles were located in the deli section in a cart that had a sign saying "Halloween item". The water bottles didn't have a price tag on them anywhere but according to my receipt, they are $5.29 each.

One of the best places to buy meat. I love their meat dept. The butcher is always knowledgeable and friendly. Fresh produce options have improved. Lots of peppers. They do sell #10 cans and other bulk items so if you're feeding a crowd they can meet your needs. Nothing in this store is organically grown. I wish they would add organic produce so I don't have to go to multiple stores or drive into lj When I need healthy foods.

Really hurts your pockets to walk into this store with all the price gouging and everything expensive nowadays your normal H-E-B will sell things for two or three dollars and they’re at five or six dollars for the same item just because they’re down the road in our town doesn’t have an H-E-B

Great store in a small town. Friendly, helpful staff. Good prices and a very good selection of products. I'd rather drive the 15 miles to Stewart's than the 1 mile to the mega stores of HEB or Krogers.

The stores layout is perfect and clean. Prices are competitive with big stores. If you think the prices are high then you obviously don't care about convenience or supporting locally owned and operated businesses.

Stewart's is the only grocery store in Brazoria. The employees are very nice, however their prices have gone up quite a bit. The pastries are very good, and they serve home cooked lunches, which are also very good.

First time stop. Restroom was clean. They had the Diet Mountain Dew that I enjoy. The cashier was nice. All in all, it's how I remember the small grocery stores that I grew up patronizing with my parents. If I ever need to stop again, I will, in a heartbeat.

Looked online at their sale ad and seen they had bone-in ribeyes for sale in the family packs. Drove all the way there to find there was none in the meat cooler. Asked a young man working in the butcher department about them to be told "we're out".No offer to cut some or anything. Pretty rude and a waste of my time and Stewart's money.

I do not live in Brazoria but I have a weekend place in Sargent Texas. The last few times we have driven down there we have stopped at Stewart's to pick up certain groceries that we needed. Last weekend I picked up one of their ribeyes and it was a great piece of meat. So this past weekend we were having a crawfish boil. And I had noticed a crawfish trailer parked in front last time I was there. I called up Stewarts and asked about the Crawfish and I made an order on Tuesday for three sacks. I picked them up Saturday morning and they were AAA+ excellent! The best part, it was a fair price. While was there Saturday morning I also picked up a sausage and egg biscuit and ate it on the road on the way back to Sargent which was really good. I sure miss these mom and pop grocery stores that have all the right stuff at a fair price. I think I'll be shopping there on the way down to Sargent versus picking up stuff here in Fort Bend County just to support the chain. Besides the staff is super friendly and helpful.

Stewart's is a good place to shop, has quality fresh fruits and vegetables and has one of the better meat markets available. And if you ever need anything cut the butcher is more than willing to accommodate your request.

Considering the area prices are fair. Great customer service is great. A person helping back even took the time to exchange a box of eggs he noticed was damaged. Its people with that logic of putting customer first, that make places like this better than bigger chains.

I really appreciate seeing a small business like this still surviving, always fairly nice people work at these grocery stores and it's a little higher priced but the beef here is some of the best steak in Brazoria County, almost every time I've had their steaks I've always been impressed. Now if they could stay in stock with best choice jalapeno pickle spears then I'd stop by sand get them more often, as it is, every time I find them there I stock up on them 😋

Was sent here by my mom. Back in the area after about 20 years. Didn't know where to go. I was surprised by this little store. Reminds me of the old country stores up north.

Prices are to high. I went to get a gallon of milk awhile back but chose to walk out of the store instead. I'm NOT paying $9/gallon. I even made that post on Facebook. I know for a FACT there is NOT a milk shortage. My husband spoke with someone who works for the milk company.

I love this grocery store. It's my go to store when returning home from Houston. My only complaint is the ladies bathroom. It is clean but the commodes do not flush right and sometime not at all. That's why I only gave it 4 stars. I hope this is being fixed. Other than that I will continue to shop at this store when I can. Great little country store.

Nice home town grocery store. Very nice and clean. For a small grocery store it had a nice selection of items to choose from. The store was well staffed and clean. We picked up 2 steaks to bbq and salad fixings and a large potato to roast. The parking lot is well lit and clean. If you are shopping local this is a great place in a small town.

this place did not know how to use my EBT card twice. they even tried to tax me for my groceries! I would not recommend going here if you want a big selection very small grocery store and smells weird
