People from around the world and the country descended on the Texas Hill Country on April 8th 2024 for the eclipse. We arrived in Brady around 9AM, immediately went into the Walmart and spent $100. There was a small group of RVs and vans, SMALL group not a hoard. After our purchase we parked near them and began to mingle. A few more folks showed up, not a lot. Then here comes the Brady PD and the store manager. They began to run people off, even though we were paying customers and would continue to be paying customers over the next few hours (till about 2p), it didnt matter. We were even referred to as "riff raff". Really?? I bet the "riff raff" spent a few thousand dollars at that store over next few hours, as people were continually going in and coming out with a Walmart sack(s) in hand. This was a good group of people, not trouble makers. And I have to say, not ONE piece of trash was left behind on the ground. The cops literally made us move 500 feet over to a vacant shopping center. The Brady PD were doing their job as per request of store mgt- not a problem there. Management on the other hand was being ridiculous and petty. The area in question was down the from the outdoor fertilizer coral at the very end of the lot, completely out of the way of any regular shoppers. After we were "removed" that area stayed empty- not ONE car parked over there the rest of the time. I hope the manager got her little power trip fix for the week.

Great options as always at Walmart. Friendly to Truck drivers, RV’s/campers. Park on the north end of the lot only, not in the rows. There’s also a dumpster on the north west end so don’t leave your trash in the parking lot and ruin it for every one else please.

This was a nice Walmart with all the amenities but it is not a Walmart Supercenter! It's half the size of our Supercenters in New Mexico!

Items may be found in more than one location with differing prices. More than half the milk I get here expires (4 to 5 days) before 'expiration date'. Never had this happen at another walmart store.And once, a lady in the garden section raised the cost of garden bricks I wanted to buy by 30%, claiming someone must have changed the price sign outside.

I'm usually in the store about 10 times a week. The sales at the store the Great. Most of the staff is great. Some of them can be rude but are you getting better. We usually have everything we need. And are polite and help me out the store. They don't have enough carts for the disabled. They've been broke down. But the greeters a real good about finding as one and keeping them plugged in.

This store is awesome. They have everything I need. The only downfall is the ladies that are in the cooking area. I know they work hard, but why do they have to take it out on the customers. Sometimes, they are rude and act like customers are a bother.

Horrible service. I waited for 10 minutes for a requested carry out of yogurt for Mason County Food bank- finally a clerk names Angelia helped me. I don’t mince putting my cart up for you but would appreciate your help! I am B79 year old lady!!

Do not stop here if you’re a biracial couple. Seems like they’re still stuck in the 50’s. Employees stop and stare at you. This town isn’t even that far from civilization to be acting like this in 2022. Bless yalls heart.

Considering the cold conditions outside and well inside because of energy savings during the freeze. The store was busy, most items like bread, sandwich meat were somewhat available at the moment. No water. Thats usual for the freeze but the cashier was nice and all was good. We got what we came for!

I was looking for Topo Chico mineral water or an equivalent such as Waterloo sparkling water. No such luck for either of these, so I was bummed that I would have to make another stop in town. Initially, I was a little apprehensive for my security since I had heard of some aggressive panhandlers had been in the parking lot a day earlier, but they evidently had moved somewhere else which was a relief for me.

Walmart pickup here sucks. Lighting struck once and they refused to bring my groceries out. Terrible customer service. I’m basically 9 months pregnant and that’s why I used this service anyways

THE BEST service I’ve ever experiencedThere are times when life throws a curve ball, and there you stand,at the register, with a couple hundred dollars rang up and bagged.. CARD ERROR.Of course this happens when everything else from that day has been pre catastrophic...Yesterday evening, the most amazing crew of from registers, to customer service, and even the self check-out ladies helped and were so polite and hospitable. I didn’t feel as if i was putting them out.I went as far as having one of the ladies write down their names for me to include in this review. BUT my day was so hectic, I cannot locate it. I do not want to attempt to name one of you amazing ladies and get it wrong... Please post your names if you see this!!!!

Checked with Google maps. Says this place has Heineken drive about 30 miles away. And find out they don't have it. Likely is goggle maps fault but that is reflected in the rating.

When you come through the front door and there is a person to greet you smiling and seems to have known you for years you know they appreciate your business. Everything about the place is good and the only thing that I have ever been dissatisfied with is they need more employees to be of assistance.

We came for some auto window cleaner as well as salad fixings. 🚗🥗The 🍅 tomatoes weren't great and we ended up going to a nearby grocery to pick them up instead, but the auto selection was spectacular. Really sort of hit or miss, but since we had to go for the window cleaner I guess it was okay.

I have horrible experiences with Walmart but I was surprised to find a large selection at this one and it seemed to be neat and stocked and the floor plan was easy to navigate. The workers don’t seem eager to help, in fact after trying to get someone to let me in the dressing room for 30 minutes only to be ignored by the women working in the section and ringing the bell repeatedly, I slid under one of the doors to try on my garments. No one even noticed... otherwise one of the better Walmart’s

This Walmart is what other Walmarts should strive to become.People take pride in their work here. It was day after black Friday, and the store looked like a million bucks. The employees were genuinely helpful and friendly. This store needs to give a $2 raise across the board. No BS. DO IT WALMART MANAGEMENT! These people are the only ones keeping the Walton name out of the dirt.
