I really enjoyed my visit to this store. From the gentleman whom I assume was the manager, to the cashier and an elderly gentleman who apologized he couldn't open the door the door for me due to a n issue he was having. A true gentleman who wanted to show respect. I was greatly touched. This gem is located not far from my home and they have products we enjoy that interestingly enough cannot be found in big box stores. Thank you. I will return.

The staff is so nice and they have a variety of items. The store is also very well kept and honestly you could go there just to get in a better mood. If you need help they will always help you I used to live in Newark but I would always go to this family Dollar instead so come on check it out meet the staff but don't take up too much of their time it's really busy and yet they still find time to talk to you.

Family Dollar has a little bit of everything, but I didn't get to go there today for that. Nikie, the assistant manager had a flat and needed a little help! I was pleased to. Ofcourse she's my sister-in-law.. She still good people.

Had to wait forever, said "hello", rang the bell, went back to the employees only door and said hello, waited for ten minutes for someone to check me out. Finally someone came in from smoking to check me out. Won't be back. This is the second time.

It's quick easy and they usually have everything that you need anound the house repair minor problems, first aid, snacks, dinners or even clothing or oil for the car ect.

Horrible! Long line, with two cashiers, but only waiting on customers, while the other one did nothing! The one checking out was slow and visiting with someone, rather than doing her job! Yesterday was just as bad!!!!

Stopped in pick up a card. Ended up getting more than that. I was surprised to see that they even had some video games for ps3, ps4, Xbox 360, and Xbox one. The store was clean and the staff was friendly, and of course the prices weren't bad.
