Got up early and drove an hour to go see a few adoptable foster puppies that their post said the puppies will arrive between 7:30 to 8:30am, first come first serve. I arrived there at 6:30 and a lady that works there told me that they had all been adopted. WOW. 🙄😒

If you live outside of town limits, they won't do anything about dumped animals. Guy on the phone was rude and completely unhelpful. Basically told me that it wasn't his problem that someone dumped a puppy in the middle of the road. But somehow it's our responsibility to take care of the dumped animal we just didn't want to be killed.

I went with my step dad and mom to go pick up a puppy for them, and the volunteers were super nice and helpful! We ended up with 2 puppies, Mojo and Maverick. They both came with adoption bags, that had blankets, toys, treats and a bag of food. I think it's amazing how much effort they put into making sure these babies get a good start! I'll be coming back with my fiancé to get our on pup soon!

Very clean and animals have the best care possible. The shelter has wonderful volunteers that make sure all animals are comfortable. 2018 no animals were lost due to overcrowding. First year for this.

very unprofessional tell someone a dog is not available until 7 am on a Saturday morning for 2 weeks and then when the day comes. you post on Facebook at 6:15 dog has been adopted. because you couldn't sleep so you came in early and someone was waiting. What you mean is someone you knew wanted her. Thanks for breaking someone's heart

Friendly staff but only have large dogs when I visit. Small dogs go very fast. Keep up the good work BAS.
