Miss Beth and Miss Dolores are amazing! I wanted to get my hat decorated for a concert, and they were absolutely overflowing with ideas! Ultimately we decided on a red ribbon lined with braided suede cord, accented with two natural bird feathers. I can't wait to show it off!

Beth did an amazing job on my custom hat band. It’s only $20 for a custom band and then $5 for the feather. There’s so many different fabric/string options to choose from too. They also do branding on hats for $5 as well. My boyfriend also got his new felt shaped and said they did a great job and actually took their time to make sure he loved it. I would definitely swing back here when I’m in the area again!

Best tack and feed store in the area! Make sure to stop by and get all your barn and horse products. They carry one of my favorite Poultice, the Runner’s Relief Therapy that saved my horse bowed tendon injury. Thank you Wheeler’s!!!

I noticed that you don't allow reviews or ratings on your Facebook page. Google maps says that you're open. I called to make sure and your voicemail system told me that I was first in line and kept me on hold forever despite the fact that you're actually closed. I drove all the way there only to pull up while I was on hold to find that the gate was closed and locked. That is certainly not my idea of good customer service. If you're closed then have the courtesy to tell those that call and stay on hold forever. Just sayin!

These guys had a trailer I liked on their lot. I called them to get more info and they were so helpful and polite. When I got there to look at it, their description was 100% accurate. They were honest and made a good deal for my trade. Paperwork was just a few minutes and then I wandered around the retail store, which is full of fun things. Great place for trailers and anything horse-related.

My experience with the trailer sales was less than ideal. Very hard to get a hold of anyone for information and few staff on site knowledgeable on the inventory. Small amount of inventory as well.

Very nice store. Lots to choose from. Friendly staff until you get to archery. I had planned on fully equipping my wife for crossbow hunting, from the bow and arrows to clothing and gear. After standing there looking for 10 minutes we finally approached the gentleman who was kicked back in his chair behind the counter. After a few questions, followed by very brief answers with the guy barely looking up from his phone, we decided to take our business elsewhere. Sorry Wheeler's, you lost what probably would have been over a $2000 sale.

Stopped by today talked with the guy in the bow shop. Very knowledgeable and respectful as was all the staff. The firearm shop had a huge selection as did the bow shop. Y’all carry nice cloths at a reasonable price. Awesome that y’all carry blue force gear equipment that is what the pros use thanks for that. I’ll be returning for sure.

This pains me to write this as I’ve been a customer of this business for many years. I’ve used almost every aspect of their business minus the fairly new trailer sales. Always enjoyed the ease of picking up feed here and the hospitality from the folks in the feed barn. Just got feed last week. I’ve also bought clothes, boots and hats from here in the past. Visited yesterday and couldn’t believe what I saw. Not 1 single employee wearing a face covering and 98% of their customers weren’t either. Albeit there were probably only 12 or so customers while I was there. Found this to be very disrespectful to my health and my family’s health. Left the store within 5 minutes. I will never go back to this place. Side note; I expected to see some sort of tribute to Juan in the hat area but nothing. Great hat shaper and even nicer human being. That, for me, was the ultimate decisive moment to never return.

I LOVE WHEELER'S! Every year when I go wild hog hunting over by Gonzalez, I time my trips so I can stop here going (to pick up deer corn and other supplies) and coming (to buy fine Western apparel). They really are a kind of stand-alone, family-run Cabelas. Usually I purchase a fine new pair of cowboy boots or a Western jacket. When I bring my granddaughter, she has her choice of outfits and always buys a pair of western riding gloves as her preferred rifle and hunting gloves. I refreshingly classy Western outfitter!

It looks as if you need it, they got it. They even have a gunsmith there that is pretty good. Probably real good. I met him one day at the rifle range. I really don't know that much about the place because it was my first time there but they have horse trailers and who knows what. I just stopped by to pick up some rifle shells. It was really a neat clean place and really roomy. Definitely handicapped accessible. Somebody is waiting on you right off the bat which is a good thing because as I say the place is big.

Although I did not purchase anything during this stop, I was very impressed with the demeanor of the staff. Ron Douglass and another gentlemen I assume was the owner were both very cordial and professional. Ron had no problem show casing any and all weapons they carried in addition to providing thorough knowledge of each weapon handled. Prices are not on par with some internet prices, but this is a small shop with excellent service so the price difference is well worth it. I will be back for future purchases. Also, they offer 5% military discount on all weapon related merchandises....wipes out your sales tax pretty much.

I use to go to Bass Pro Shop for all of my hunting and outdoor needs, but not anymore. The gun guys behind the counter are great, and very helpful. The clothes are up to date, and well priced. I get all my jeans there, and my weed killer and rat poison! Not as big as Bass Pro, but I think that is a good thing, and the prices are better too. A local family owns the store, and you will notice that as soon as you walk in

I LOVE Wheelers! The guys in the hay barn are as nice as they come! I am always greeted with a smile! They "bend over backwards" to help me with my orders. The folks in the store are great, too. Our favorite store in Boerne! I love their women’s boutique where I can ALWAYS find something I “need” for everyday or a special event.I also buy for my daughter and son in the kids area, and my husband shops their western wear and hunting gear.And there is the added bonus that they have everything (feed, tack, ropes etc) for our horses!Needless to say, it’s our go to store!

My wife and I stopped in here on a whim while passing through, and boy did we have a good time. My wife is big into horse riding, and my main hobby is guns, and we both had one of the best selections we've seen in a while. I've visited dozens of gunshops in San Antonio proper, and Wheeler's matches all but Nagel's in their selection. Their ammo prices are fair and their ammo selection is outstanding.They have clearance racks on mostly women's clothing, and my wife found several she liked for a good deal.I bought a new pair of boots and thoroughly enjoy them. Prices, as with everything in the store, are fair and competitive.Prices on firearms aren't the best compared to San Antonio shops, but slightly better than average. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a firearm here.The staff were all friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure we found what we were looking for.10/10, will stop by again!
