Ok it’s gross to see Walmart employees huddles over at least 6 or 7 of them all smoking. Smells like death as I come from outside to the front door. The whole outside is littered with cigarettes and all caked up on the sides of the parking next to the doorway. Walmart do better to make your employees pick up there trash! Also I believe Walmart is a smoke free zone!

I've been to Walmarts all over the country, North East US not included. Having said that, this location feels the most like a normal store. Not too many weird dressers, or crazy people in general. Hope I'm not being offensive. Had my oil changed here, and it took the least amount of wait and was done right. I'm able to do it myself so I know. They also fill my tires for free when they're low. The return center here was helpful as well.

Typical Walmart- nothing special to note about the store in general.But the guy behind the deli counter must be "special" - I wanted several different cold cuts so I wait for him to lumber over and order 1 thing, he asks if I want anything else and I tell him "many things and I'll tell you 1 at a time" but he insists I place my whole order at once so I tell him everything I want and ask for everything to be cut very thin - 10 minutes later after watching him mope about to and fro he dumps several bags on the counter and yells NEXT- I take a look and say "hey, you forgot this and that" - so he goes about getting me the rest of my order - I reiterated several times during all this I want everything sliced very thin - I get home and I have slabs of meat and cheese in the bags! If this guy thinks this is very thin I can't imagine what he thinks normal or thick would be- I may have come home with hamsteaks...

The walmarts in our surrounding communities are so much cleaner and nicer. The staff in Boerne is great, I feel bad that their store isn't something more they could be proud of.

The atmosphere of this walmart was very calm. The shelves were nicely stocked, and there were plenty of employees to help us out. Great place if you want to browse an amazing makeup selection.

Usually out of anything good things are expired out of date and customer service is horrible had Store employee called overhead three times and no one came to help out at Sporting Goods counter. Was told may be on lunch or break. Seems with idle employees walking around that breaks in important areas be managed with more efficiency to keep holiday traffic flowing.

Customer service is terrible don't ever go to this Walmart they will just waste your time and piss you off. Went here to buy some oil and it was stocked in the wrong area making me think it was cheaper. Told the cashier about it and she acted like she didn't care so asked for a manager and it went from bad to worst. The woke manager with coolaide hair and lip piercings accused me of stealing the oil and when I got upset over the accusations she said something under her breath and ran off leaving me with the auto parts manager that wanted to debate everything with me even further. I had to just stop and leave due to loosing iq points arguing with these woke idiots that can't admit they are wrong.

This is a good Walmart. It's the older style setup but went through a recent renovation. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I give the pharmacy staff five stars. Definitely convenient with reasonable prices!

The Auto Center came to my rescue this past Friday 10/13 after I had a blowout late in the evening.All the other tire service stores were closed but I was able to make contact with Mike and his team at the auto center I they installed 2 new tires and got me back on the road in around 1 hr. Amazing work. I'm very grateful for y'all.Boerne is the BEST place to have a flat tire!!

I go to the super center just for my prescriptions. Because the girls in the pharmacy are wonderful.. They know me by name and treat me like as if we're in a small town..

I took my car in for an oil change. The low air in the tires lights was on for the tires, and the dash was covered with the manufacturer maintenance warning. Walmart said they would take care of it as part of the regular oil process. When I came back and had paid, neither had been taken care of. When I brought it to their attention politely, they responded ####. So I drove off wondering what if anything they had done as I noticed on their checklist they said on a lot of items I waived, which was not true. I wrote the boerne store manager weeks ago and received no response.

Well organized, but the aisles get pretty cluttered with pallets and boxes if you go early in the morning. Self service propane worked great. Not fan of the new self checkouts and how easily they accuse of a "miss-scan".

I love my local Walmart but they really need to do better on restocking. Everytime I try to get yogurt whether it’s yoplait, chobani, etc, it is always expired. I mean November, really..? Todays date: December 27th.

My wife had a stroke a year ago every time we come to this Walmart we struggle to get an electric cart for her when we do get it it is not charged and it dies in the middle of the store for the handicap it could use a lot of improvement

Update:The store remains clean but I wish it had more checkouts. Additionally, they changed the exterior and it looks great. I will return to this location.-----------------------------This Store was clean, the staff was friendly and overall was well priced over the products. I will return for future business.

Donna and Zack in the Auto center absolutely saved my behind. Needed my tires changed for an unexpected long distance trip and they got me hooked up super fast!!! I am so!!! thankful!!!

I discovered a nail in one of my tires and took my truck to The Tire Center at the Walmart in Boerne. The staff was friendly and professional. Long story short, "Jerry", one of the service technicians showed me a tack sized nail he pulled out from my tire. Jerry said the nail did not penetrate through the thick tread of my off road tire. As a precautionary measure, Jerry informed me that he removed the tire to confirm the nail did not penetrate the tire. He then balanced the tire and reinstalled the tire on my truck. In addition, Jerry informed me that there is no charge for the service. I was extremely pleased with the service I received from Jerry. He was kind, professional and honest. I thank the team at the Tire Service for your professionalism. A special thank you to "Jerry " for your integrity and a job well done!

We were buying bikes today, a young man walked by, and I asked if he could help us. His name was Alex, and he went above and beyond. Now the cashier, that's a different story, Brenda obviously was not happy today. Maybe she didn't like pink in her hair.Hopefully, tomorrow, she will smile and have a better outlook.

Went here to look at some rifles, and there was no one at the counter to help. We asked 3 different employees if they could help. One told us he couldn't find anyone/help us because he was clocked out (but still had his vest/name tag on). The other two were walking together, said we needed a manager to show us the guns, and they would get them for us...45 minutes later (yes we waited that long) decided to leave, and on the way out saw no employees, until we got to the exit and there were 4 standing around on their phones talking. I ALWAYS have a bad experience at Walmart, I wouldn't even go anymore if it weren't for my husband.

RUSTY FIREARM! "Assistant Manager" guy with red hair, @8pm on 5/31/17:I waited an hour and change to get help at the sporting goods to purchase a Mossberg 500 12ga pump shot gun, finally after two loud inter-com calls, and me calling from my cell phone 5 times and waiting on hold and waiting by the desk...just listening to the sporting goods desk phone ring from my own call and also walking over to electronics and tires asking them for help...I finally decided to just walk all the way up to the front customer service, they finally sent some red head kid that had the key to the guns "Assistant Manager" I mean...he said because they were "short handed and nobody was working sporting goods". No big deal, I am a patience person.However, this Assistant Manager was displeased to have left his coffee lounge to help me with this shot gun purchase. Anyhow, I was there to get a gun, not care about this Assistant Manager high school drop out attitude he was giving. As he handed me the shot gun, I NOTICED RUST BLATANTLY on the barrel nut. I pointed at it, to casually show him, and he tells me "we get them straight from the factory and they go straight into the display case" I said, "I know, that's odd that there is rust, I wonder how a brand new firearm acquired rust."He clearly didn't like that I was inspecting it.He then repeated "they come from the factory straight to here...blah blah", and I said nicely "Yes, I understand that sir, my point is I just cant imagine why or how this gun has what is obvious rust on it"...THEN, THIS SMART MOUTHED ASSISTANT MANAGER PROCEED TO TELL ME A 3RD TIME THAT "we get them straight from the factory....blah blah" I was astonished. He purposefully would not acknowledge or even LOOK at the rust on this gun.I didn't want to buy it, I wanted him to acknowledge where my finger was pointing and take that gun off the shelf so another customer will not buy a rusty firearm, falsely being sold as brand new in the box, which CLEARLY it was not.I finally smiled at him and said "Do you see this firearm rusting right here, yes or no?" in a stern voice looking him in his eyes... cause I was tired of his smart mouth!! This guy needs to be working a drive thru, not an Assistant Manager! He was obviously frustrated with me from the start for having to help me.He finally gave me a quite acknowledgement and said "Yes" and I said "Ok" andhanded it back to him, and he put it back in the case! I was shocked! So I told him "How can you put a firearm back that you just observed rust on?"This incompetent man proceeded to tell me a 4th time!!: "We get themstraight from the factory and they go in this display case..blah blah"He didn't care. He wasn't used to helping customers, he was used to being rude to employees who are in High School.I couldn't believe how unqualified of an Assistant Manager he was. A rusty firearm is a not only a huge liability, but down right WRONG to try and sell it to someone who wont see it. Maybe Walmart should hire better Assistant Managers that have an INCENTIVE to do a better job!! #RUST****UPDATE...6/6/17...I CAME BACK A WEEK LATER AND THE RUSTY FIREARM IS STILL ON THE RACK!***WOW! What Awesome Assistant manager skills, and now including the the "Main Manager" who CALLED ME and left me a voice mail because of the corporate complaint that trickled down to her, ALL because their Assistant Manager can not make decisions or do his job correctly.So she also heard about the rusty firearm...and it remains on the shelf. That is the problem. You have a rusty firearm you refuse to take off the shelves DESPITE PHOTOGRAPHIC PROOF I even provided. #DoYourJob #DontSellRustyAsBrandNew

For a Walmart, it's very clean and nothing is out of place. The fresh fruit/vegetable section has a lot of "past it's prime" items that should probably be removed but other than that it's one of the better Walmarts in the area! Update: nothing has really changed from my original review. I would definitely go to HEB for produce and especially meats, but for everything else Walmart is fine.
