Make sure you count your prescriptions at the counter. Two months in a row, we've gone to the pharmacy to pick up 4 prescriptions after having been notified that 4 were ready, only to find that three were in the bag when we got home. I use Express Pay so they hand me my prescriptions in a plastic shopping bag. Individual prescriptions are in paper bags that are stapled shut, sometimes individually, sometimes not. The person I just spoke with says that it is the customer's responsibility to make sure they get your medicine right (she hung up on me when I suggested it was Walgreens responsibility to know what '4' means when I say I'm there for four prescriptions) so make sure you stand that at that busy, under-staffed counter with a long line behind you and open up every one of those paper bags to ensure that they give you all of the prescriptions you asked for.

Placed an order for a banner to be printed. I received the email that my order was ready for pickup and made the 20-minute drive to pick it up. When I arrived I was told that there was some problem and that they should have called me. The girl at the register was smirking as I was obviously frustrated. They told me there was no time to expect it to be finished, but likely around an hour and a half it would be done. No effort to try and remedy the issue with a discount or anything, except an apology under a smirking smile. To top it all off as I got in my truck to drive away, the guy who seemed responsible for finishing my project quickly walked around the corner for a smoke break.

I am giving 5 stars to the staff at this Walgreens, particularly the pharmacy staff. The pharmacy REGULARLY has only 1 person to service the inside counter and 1 person to service the drive thru, so there is ALWAYS a ridiculous line. Is Walgreens trying to pad their bottom line by being chronically understaffed all the time?!? Then, the pharmacy staff constantly apologizes to customers for "the wait". it's not your fault. You are doing the best you can. 4 registers, 1 person -- unacceptable.

Waited on the phone for 1 1/2 hours. I finally hung up. Drive 40 minutes to the pharmacy and now have been waiting for 20 minutes in the drive thru lane. Finally someone came to the window, of course the medicine isn’t ready. I can not stand this Walgreens. It’s horrible.

Drove 45 minutes for a rapid Covid testing and mind you my appointment was confirmed only to be told that they didn’t have any more Covid testing kits?? Seriously what a joke and a waste of time they should figure out to make it unavailable if they are out of stock. Know I have to figure out something different after already having driven 45 minutes thanks a lot Walgreens

Wasted my wife’s time and spoiled perishable groceries. Had her wait an hour, only to tell her they couldn’t find the product. Sent her to back to HEB, but didn’t transfer the prescription by fax. Wife is waiting for the fax to be made while her groceries spoil and the pharmacy is about to close. Not cool. Be better.

I can personally attest that if you are in a hurry or even under normal circumstances this is not the place to come. 15 minutes in line with one car in front of me and another 10 minutes getting my order. There is no reason that I can think of that this is considered acceptable behavior in a business practice.But then again Walgreens is so big they don’t have to care. They just have to turn on the lights.

If zero stars or negative stars were possible that's what I would have given them. picked up my prescription and there was one bottle in the bag. There apparently was supposed to be three for a total of 90 tablets. The bottle I received had the marking 3/3, so 1 and 2 were not included in the bag. Went back only to be called a liar by their "manager" Janaina. She was the rudest most argumentative person I ever dealt with. Did not solve the error but accused me of misplacing them! What a scam, and I waited for 40 minutes in line at the drive through for this! As a business owner in Boerne if she was my employee she wouldn't work for me long! Shame on her....

We just moved to Boerne and this pharmacy is the worse pharmacy ever. Takes forever to get prescriptions. Never have enough techs working and everytime we need medication it’s the same experience. Sad because we love Walgreens

Went to pick up a prescription through the Second lane of the drive-through window (when I got there, there was someone in the first lane who remained there the entire time I was in the second lane). I Sat there for 10 minutes pushing the call button with no response. Finally went inside and figured out that they were on their 30 minute lunch break in the middle of the day. When they returned, there were at least nine of them. Apparently they all had to go to lunch at once. When I suggested to the clerk that they post a sign on the second drive-through to alert customers about their lunch break hours, the employees response was that the hours are posted online. He didn’t seem to care. This is obviously a very poorly managed store.

Long lines. Incompetent and slow staff. Horrible attitudes. I regularly wait 1+ hour to pick up a single medication because the staff is slow and they treat me like I’m an annoyance to them. Avoid this place like the plague.

Been getting prescription filled at this location since they opened.I picked up a prescription on Oct. 17th.I never opened it until Nov. 3rd. The wrong medicine was in the medication bottle. Even took one of the meds the night before at bedtime as directed. The next day, I discovered that it was not the correct medication, I went to Walgreens, it was a Saturday, the 4th and they said that I would have to come back Monday.I go back today and talked with the Pharmacy Manager, Janiana Moreira and she accused me of changing the prescription, she said that there was a white substance in the bottle that matched what should have been in the bottle. I was livid…. I told her that I had never had any problems with getting medication from this location, and she said, that’s what everyone says.She said on the camera that they could see white pills put in the bottle and the pills that they put in the bottle where pink.I asked to talk to the store manager, and he was no help at all.Now I am out my medication until the 17th of this month.Someone at that location stood my medication!!!!!I will be contacting the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.

Bourne walgreens sucks. I have given them chance after chance for five years but im done. They are slow. They make you wait in line then shutting door for lunch. False advertise as 24 hr but take a lunch break and are closed that is not 24 hrs. Have had issues with them running out of medications all the time. When you call with questions they keep you on hold. They answer then push hold button for over 30 min. I ended up calling another walgreens several times. I think I've finally decided to move on. I've had good service in the past at thier east side locations but now I know that good service is not practiced through out. Thank and good bye to walgreens in bourne

Tracey from the pharmacy is extremely rude & unkind. Unsure why she is working if she 1. Does not know how to help patients & 2. Does not want to have a positive attitude & attempt to help. I was charged a total of 135 for a prescription that was only 48.73. When asked for help she continued to interrupt and cut me off. Stating that she does not know and I have to call when the manager gets in because she doesn’t know, & then I waited for over 40 minutes just so she could hangup on me and when I called back she stated the system hung up not her….DONT WANT TO WORK? STAY HOME..DONT WANT TO HELP? KICK ROCKS TRACEY. This profession is clearly NOT FOR YOU. It’s not like I’m getting my medications for free & GIVEN THAT IT WAS AN ERROR A HUGE ERROR ON WALGREENS PART….THE AUDACITY.

This pharmacy is the worst! Takes forever to get a prescription refilled, they intentionally don't answer the phone when they're busy. Every order, there's a problem. I receive "delayed" notifications consistently, even when I'm told my prescription will be ready at a specified time. Horrible customer service 😑

This pharmacy is the slowest, whether you go inside or the drive through, whether you go during the day or after midnight. You must make an appointment for vaccines, then they can't find your scheduled appointment.(thankfully Walmart takes walk-ins) Your doctor sends in your prescriptions and they MIGHT be ready 3 days later, but until then they have no record of it. Some of the staff are happy and helpful, but some of them are total jerks. But for some reason my elderly mother in law insists on getting her prescriptions here. Probably because she's not the one that picks them up.

I was a drive through at 9:15 am not opened came back at 10:15 am 5 in line ( I’m handicap can’t walk easily) or would have gone in to complete the transaction took 1 hour 15 minutes . My doctor prescribed an opioid medication for surgery and aspirins the aspirin not given from the pharmacy so I will have to get someone to go in and get it. Clearly the worst Walgreen I have ever experienced

I spent a year in the pharmacy at this Walgreens. I’ve read countless reviews of how poorly the pharmacy is managed and how we have little regard for wait times and our customers. That is just not true. This is the only 24 Hour pharmacy for nearly 20 miles, and being located on the outskirts of San Antonio, we received customers from all surrounding areas which led to an overwhelming workload. Additionally, we were completely understaffed. Customers we’re never able understanding of this, even during a pandemic. Sad. The people of this area were and are nothing but inconsiderate, and incredibly rude to us. Obviously we occasionally had sweet people who frequented this pharmacy and were sympathetic of our struggles. However, the super majority of people threw unbelievable tantrums after waiting for an hour. I don’t understand why any person would want to embarrass themselves in this manner or why they felt the responsibility to scream at us. The amount of abuse each of us endured working at this location was insane. On my last day here, we had to shut down the front end of the pharmacy completely. There seriously were not enough technicians to even keep this store running. And yet, it was still somehow our fault for the drive thru wait being over an hour. The management of this store definitely does their best, and there is no correlation between them and the amount of time you have to wait. Any of you who have written a nasty review about this pharmacy should apply for a job here, maybe then you wouldn’t have to wait as long. If nothing else you would learn some humility and compassion.

This place is the absolute worst. They split your prescription and fill the ones that you specifically tell them not to. It takes them hours to fill 1 prescription. And they always act like they don’t know anything instead of a simple “I apologize” I don’t like being rude but this place really pulls it out of you

This is the most impressive Walgreens I have ever stepped foot in.I’m impressed by the consistent 30+ minute wait times in the pharmacy lines, inside or the drive through. I’m impressed by how many mistakes the pharmacy makes (the most recent being that they “forgot” to fill a prescription). I’m impressed by how many excuses they provide whenever a mistake is made. I’m impressed that they manage to lose my insurance information every three months. I’m impressed by how often the cashier requires assistance processing pretty basic transactions.Waiting in line for the third time today (for a current total time of 56 minutes), hopefully this is the last interaction I have to have with this pharmacy staff.Fill your prescription somewhere else. It would be faster to have it filled at a Walgreens in San Antonio or Austin. H-E-B is right across the street.Either that, or plan your entire day around sitting in the drive through. Grab some snacks, throw on your favorite movie, and pretend that you’re on a transatlantic flight.If you’re sick, you don’t have time to use this pharmacy.

Pediatrician sent prescription to Walgreens over 24 hours ago. My child runs out tomorrow and they have yet to fill the prescription. I asked when it would be filled and they said they didn't know!!! Last time we use this place.

If I could give this store zero stars I WOULD! I never ever leave reviews but I want to help any potential customer from dealing with the horrid customer service at this Walgreen’s location.I called to make sure they had the prescription I needed before driving from Kerrville. Was left on hold for the pharmacy for almost an hour. Recording finally said I was next in line to talk to real person (my words.). Then - my call was just completely disconnected. Prior to being disconnected, my husband called the store from his phone and asked to speak to a manager. After holding again for 10 minutes, and then being told manager would go back to pharmacy and ask them to pick up, he held for another 10 minutes before we gave up.Called the Fredericksburg Walgreens, spoke to someone within 5 minutes, who is ordering prescription for us for pickup tomorrow. Done within 8 minutes total. Great service there. NOT HERE. Don’t waste your time holding or trying to deal with this location- 24 hour or not!

I am traveling by RV to the area from out of state and my husband left his inhaler at home. We called our doctor and had it placed with the pharmacy within 24 hours if realizing we didn’t have it. It is an emergency inhaler, not a daily use. The cedars are beautiful and abundant and wrecking havoc on our allergies. We drive in our rv to this Walgreens. I walk inside, but see a sign on the door that the inside pharmacy is closed and to use the drive through only. My rv cannot fit through the lanes of the drive through. I asked an employee who was standing near the pharmacy if I could walk through the drive through. He said I could. I pull into the very long line (seriously, at least 30 cars. Once I was “close” to the front, I was still 7 cars before I was helped.) and then I wait more than an hour. As we get close, I exit the rv, my husband pulls to the side, and I press the call button on the tube system. No response. Ok, they are obviously busy, I wait my turn. Over the intercom: “Ma’am in aisle 2, you need to be in a vehicle.”Me: I’m in an rv, I can’t make the turn. Your inside pharmacy is closed. I’ve waited an hour for a LIFE SAVING inhaler.Then: silence!! (What? Why was there no response stating they could make an exception since the inside is closed?)A short time later a different staff member comes on the line. This was the same staff member who said I could walk through. He helps me with my transaction and I go on my way.During this very long, pretty frustrating experience, my child pooped himself and got it ALL. OVER. the car seat. If timely service was an option, that would have been avoided. While not at all Walgreens fault, definitely aided by their lack of proper staffing.I’m glad I don’t live nearby to frequent this store.

I will never step foot in this Walgreens again. I’ve been to the pharmacy there three times and each time was a complete fiasco. Today I drove 20 miles to my appointment there for a pneumonia vaccine only to have the pharmacy person tell me it was too early for this vaccine. I waited 2 hours there a week ago for them to tell me I needed a second appointment.They are severely mismanaged and I will never be back!
