We held two private events at the Dienger Trading Co. upstairs at The Homestead. The first event was a bridal brunch in the morning and then we went back that evening for a rehearsal dinner. The space upstairs is so beautiful with multiple chandeliers, an antique bar area, a brick wall which makes for a good photo backdrop and a balcony that was great for mingling and enjoying a glass of wine prior to the meal. The chef was very accommodating to different dietary needs of the wedding party and prepared some very flavorful dishes for everyone. The staff was amazing from start to finish! Can’t say enough how great Esha was in the planning and details of our two events! Garrett and Riley who worked both events were just lovely and pulled off two perfect events for the wedding weekend! 100% would hold another event there.

Food is nice, beautiful establishment, amazing service, hadn’t been back for over two year last time there the food was rancid they took it off my bill it smelled foul but they never offered a replacement nor did they bring back a menu so I left hungry to say the least.I was pleasantly surprised with the food quite nice. I had the salmon. The place started closing up as we were eating I asked about closing they said the.were closing up early I said ok no problem we're almost done however online it says closes at 5pm they said the boutique will stay open until 5pm were closing now which was maybe 330ish or 350ish. Anyhow the staff was friendly and the food was nice.

Extremely impressed with the management of this establishment. Both Riley and chef K. bring something to the restaurant that is surely worth talking about. Both their skills in leadership and communication set a standard that you cannot get at any other restaurant. Top it off with their hard work ethic and overwhelming sense of accountability, you truly get what the restaurant experience is supposed to be. A well trained staff and meaningful food. If you’re not serious about what hard work is or what good food is, then this place isn’t for you.

My husband and I visited this spot for Brunch one morning, after hearing how nice it was. Everyone we spoke to or encountered here was incredibly nice and helpful. The whole vibe of the place was very nice. It was a beautiful place! The food, however, was lackluster. My husband and I both ordered the Hill Country Breakfast…he got the bacon with it, and I chose ham. The potatoes were extremely over cooked. The peppers that were cooked with the potatoes were VERY good, though. I’m sad at how hard and overcooked the potatoes were because the flavor was wonderful. My ham was delicious…as was my husband’s bacon. However - his scrambled eggs were NOT good. There was no flavor before he added salt and pepper…and they were cold. They also came out in almost a sheet, like what you get on your McDonald’s breakfast sandwich. It was so odd. My eggs were also cold and bland…but cooked correctly. The toast and biscuits were also cold…and the biscuits were hard and NOT good. We also got mimosas (he got the original, and I had the Sunrise Mimosa), and they were ok. Nothing special. My biggest frustration was the pricing. The food was DEFINITELY not worth the price. We paid $72 for two breakfasts and two mimosas. It was absurd - especially for how basic the food and drinks were. I’d happily pay that much for a phenomenal brunch…but this was NOT it.We would definitely visit again, to give it another shot. But we definitely won’t order the same things.

What's not to like! The staff are amazing and I can't stress enough what a wonderfully managed, clean, welcoming environment this restaurant is. We had to order way more than we could eat because we wanted to try everything. A big key for me is how a restaurant cooks potatoes and they are next level good here! The blueberries and cream danish was out of this world and not to sweet which was perfect! The croissant breakfast sandwich and egg white fritta are so good. Historical building with lots to see...Anytime we're in Boerne we'll be back!Parking: Lots of free parking for guests.

I loved the atmosphere and location but was not impressed with my meal. I got the fried pork tenderloin Benedict. The biscuits and hollandaise were great but my eggs were well passed over easy. The pork tenderloin was so overdone that it was really tough to eat and didn’t end up being able to finish it. The hollandaise had great flavor but needed much more of it given there was no runny yolk and the protein being dry. I told the waitress but she didn’t seem to care. My sister got the avocado, toast, and a pancake. Both of those were delicious. The coffee is good. I got one pump of vanilla and one pump of the lavender and the lavender is very potent. Definitely should’ve gone with maybe a half a pump. I had high hopes for this place, and so much other items on the menu looked good but I am hesitant to go back.

Our last minute breakfast find turned into an unexpected historic site visit. As we waited for our food to come out we learned about The Dienger Building and the family behind it. Awesome place to visit with really good food and coffee shop. Adjacent gift shop was closed during our visit, but the attention to quality and detail is evident all-around. Highly recommended if you're in the area.Dietary restrictions: My wife ordered gluten-free avocado toast at no extra charge.Kid-friendliness: Our son loved the kid's pancakes.

"My experience at The Dienger in Boerne was nothing short of delightful. The service was absolutely amazing - attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. But it was the food that truly left a lasting impression. Not only was it very good, but you could taste the freshness in every bite. The menu offered a great variety, catering to a range of preferences. What made the experience even better was the warm and friendly atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you can relax and savor your meal while enjoying the company of your loved ones. The ample parking was a pleasant surprise, and it added to the convenience of our visit. What sets The Dienger apart is its child-friendly environment. As a parent, it's often a challenge to find a place where both adults and kids can feel comfortable, but this establishment excels in that regard. Chase was great!!All in all, The Dienger in Boerne goes above and beyond in providing a top-notch dining experience. I can't recommend it enough, and I look forward to returning to this wonderful establishment."

Gorgeous boutique & restaurant. There truly is something for everybody on the menu. Everything was delicious and service was upscale and inviting. I’ve been drinking matcha for almost 20 years now, and THIS was the best matcha latte I’ve ever had!

We really enjoy stopping here when we drop our car off at the Nissan dealership in Boerne. Once we drop our car off we use the Nissan shuttle to take us the the Deinger. There usually is a short wait as it's very popular. We had the Hill Country breakfast. We also had I ordered a cortado expresso. Our food was very good and so was the cortado. I recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner if you are in Boerne.

My family loves coming here. The food is top notch, it’s apparent the ingredients are fresh and carefully selected. The bistro itself is well appointed and family friendly. Highly recommend for a good breakfast or lunch spot!

Great food. Love the historic building & wonderful ambience. This building has an incredible history in Boerne and they have an amazing wall in the back that documents their history. This is a wonderful place to meet a friend for lunch or breakfast or just coffee. My favorite is their delicious quiche Lorraine in the perfect crust and it comes with fresh fruit. They have many delicious dishes!

I was about to give 2 stars due the fact I was waiting in line for almost 45 minutes but there were empty tables in the room. After this time and no text messages calling us, my wife decided to ask and, like magic, the really, but really young attendend said they could accommodate us at this time.I believe the average age of the people working there is about 20 years, and even though they are very nice, there is a obvious lack of experience. With that said, I decided to add one more star because the brunch was delicious, really devine.I believe with more experienced supervision this place has a potential to be 5 stars.Let's see next time I come there.

I’m obsessed with this restaurant. It’s quickly become a favorite. Garett gave me and husband amazing service. Riley came by our table a few times to check on us. I don’t think I’ve had a manager come to my table in a while so this was a nice a hometown feel.We will be back!

Pot pie, Burger, coconut pie(my favorite) & chocolate pie. The owner Raymond is always there to chat and make sure everyone is delighted with the food and service. His hospitality and restaurant was one of the reasons we moved to the friendliest town in America.

While staying in Boerne, we finally had the chance to eat at The Dienger. The staff were so friendly, and the owner was making the rounds and saying hello to everyone. Our food was delicious as well as the coffee. We really enjoyed the French toast, Joseph’s Omelet, and Chicken Fried Steak Eggs Benedict. We will certainly eat here again when in the area.

Stopped in on a whim while driving through Boerne on Sunday morning for their brunch. Ordered the Egg White Frittata and breakfast street tacos. Both were excellent. We had a little wait - they were busy but all staff were courteous (and working hard to serve!) They also have coffee shop and delicious looking baked goods. (Also a boutique but we did not visit.) Their Magic Bars and brownies are so good and as big as a brick! 😉

Enjoyed a late lunch at the Dienger. The salad and service were nice and there was a nice boutique next door. Perhaps most notably the location was in a historic building and was decor was lovely.

So very disappointed in the management of this establishment. Riley and BK are terrible managers and are incredibly hostile and dismissive to the employees. They have behaved like bullies and speak poorly about their employees to other employees. They use threat tactics to discipline and i simply do not agree with this type of “management.” The food is great but the management is just awful.

This was my first time coming here, great atmosphere, delicious coffee ☕️and pastries, my favorite was a raspberry cream cheese flip, my friend coconut cream pie 🥧 and a scone. There is tables to sit and talk, a boutique in the back, very cute quiet place in Boerne, Texas. Friendly staff also. Will go back! ✅🙌🏼🥧☕️😋

Would not go back. You’re paying for the aesthetic really. The food was not great and took forever for simple breakfast items. We ordered one order of french toast with vanilla custard and an order of biscuits and gravy with two eggs added and it took forever for such simple, short-order items. Food was luke-warm coming out of the kitchen. The real insult was the french toast with vanilla custard though. You would think if a food item is listed in the title on the menu that you would receive a decent serving of said food item. Instead I received two sad pieces of sourdough that resembled regular toast more than bread properly dredged and cooked for making french toast and the vanilla custard was merely a garnish of less than an ounce or two of vanilla custard, in a tiny, half-circle swipe, on a half empty plate. I only wish I had a picture of how absurdly this meal was plated.
