Awesome family owned business. I was visiting from Houston and remembered that a friend had recommended me Billy’s. Very good to see a small business proudly promoting American made brands as that is rare today. Great selection but sadly, none of the boots I wanted had my size. I guess that’s what makes boots like Blackjack and Rios so special is that they are a true find and not mass produced like many brands today. Gino was very helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this store. I will be back and hopefully I’ll get lucky next time!

My son went there and picked out a pair of boots that were 69.99 and had been marked down to 49.99. I went by to get them and got told at the register that they should be $150. Save your time and money and just go to boot barn or cavenders!

Amazing experience! I was trying to find a specific Stetson hat model since a couple of weeks ago, finally found it online on the store. called to check availability and they had a really nice costumer service, I wanted to also double check the model and how it looked on a real photo (besides the photo in the online store) and the girl that I talked to, took her time to measure the hat’s brim and send me various photos through messages just as I had requested to confirm the exact model I was looking for ( kind of tricky to find since stetson is not producing as years before) . I also needed the hat before Feb 7th in Miami, and they did everything for the hat to arrive faster than I expected. So happy and thankful for the great service. (Prices also super cheap compared to others store)

My fiancée and I were on the hunt for a custom hat shop in the San Antonio area while we were in town. We tried a couple other shops but ended up trying Billy's while we were in Boerne and could not have been happier. The selection was unmatched and Julian could not possibly have been more patient or helpful while shaping my hat for me. We were extremely impressed and would gladly point anyone their way for any western wear needs.

Customer service is excellent. Came in for a new hat! They were able to put one on hold for me, called the day before to make sure they had one I was looking for. Colby took his time with me and made sure to shape it to my liking, can tell he takes pride in his work & thank you to Abby for getting the equipment that Colby needed so fast! Will come back here for my next one.

Excellent selection of genuine Western wear, not tourist junk. Helped by a real hatter. I believe it's a family owned business. Everyone was very cordial, patient, knowledgeable, and helpful.

This store I do not recommend to shop at due to poor managementI bought a pair of jeans at the Kerrville location and tried to return them and yes I had taken the tag off but you can clearly see that they are not wornThey where the wrong size and not I have had nothing but problems trying to get any type of returnWas not even given the option for in-store creditAll they could offer is Maybe a check mailed to me when I paid cashI always try to shop local but it's rude behavior that drives customers to shop non localCavender has never treated me the way this store hasDo not recommend this store in Kerrville or boerneWas only rude after being treated rudeAnd all they offered was a check by mailAdd lying to the list too

I’m from Dallas but when I knew I was heading towards San Antonio, Billy’s became a priority stop on my trip.One of best selection of Cowboy hats in Texas and the most friendly people. I came in and was shown four different styles before settling on a 10X American in a beautiful chocolate. Once the hat was selected, we spent time discussing my preferences and then I had a custom fitting and shaping that was fun to watch and has left me with the best looking hat in my collection.

I absolutely loved this store. I was visiting from out of town and purchased a hat for my brother. Gio assisted and was great. Unfortunately the hat did not fit and I had to ship it back. I had no issue with the process. I will definitely come back to visit next time I am in Texas!

My daughter and I went to Billy's Monday to purchase our first western hats. We are new to Texas and wanted to purchase a hat for the rodeo. We had a blast! We told the staff we knew nothing about hat fitting, style etc. They graciously went over all the basics with us . They were happy to pull out any hat to let us try them on.I would recommend this experience to anyone. Buying a hat is a big deal but they made it fun, informative and we bought with confidence!

I wanted to purchase a Stetson Open Road hat, they were sold over almost every where. I took a chance and emailed Billy’s Western Wear to see if they had one in stock. They emailed me back in a timely manner, turned out that they had one left, and even went beyond and above to hold the hat for me so I can purchase it online. Once I placed the order; they immediately shipped the hat the same day and I received my hat within 3 days. Great customer service and will be doing business with them in the future.

I have never tried so hard to spend so much money on boots with a company that seems not interested in selling boots. I ordered two pairs of Anderson bean exotic boots in person with Clay who’s job title is “boot manager” for our family photos. He said the boots would arrive in a week and he would call. Did not hear from him after almost two weeks. I gave him a call and he stated he did not know anything my order but would give me a call back to get everything worked out. Again I did not receive a call back. I called again three days later and talked with store manager about situation and if she could still get the boots before our families photos. She said without doubt Clay would contact me the following morning. It is now three days later and still no contact…. I have been more than patient up till now. Spent weeks trying to get boots that were confirmed to be arriving in one week from date of order. Our family pictures are now two days away. Thanks Billy’s!

I had an issue ordering boots. I was told the boots were ordered and would be there within two weeks. Three weeks after placing the order I came in to check status. Essentially, I was told they were never ordered much to my dismay. Abby took charge. She recognized there was an issue, she took time out of her day to call me, identify the correct boots, and order them for me. Too often in todays society, customer service is not taken seriously or good customer service is not given. Abby went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of. Im just one customer, but Abby made it her goal to take care of my needs. Kudos to Abby on the exemplary customer service.

I struggled finding the perfect hat for my husband for Christmas. Each time I called the ladies who answered the phone were amazing. They helped me find the right hat. We drove today to get the hat cut and shaped. Again the company is top notch. Colby spent the time needed to chaps it perfectly. A must use store for your western needs.

I ordered boots from them on October 15 2022. I still have yet to get a tracking number. I have called multiple times with no answer. The answering machine says to leave a voicemail and a number and they will contact you. They also have not done that. I will never recommend nor order/buy anything from this dump again. Honestly would give them zero stars if I could. Horrible service and a terrible place to spend money.

Billy’s Western Wear really came through for me this Christmas. I had ordered my wife a purse from another retailer and they cancelled my order while I was out of the country. I came back to an email telling me about the cancellation two days before Christmas. I searched for solutions locally to no avail. Giving up on having her present by Christmas Day, I decided to place an order with Billy’s. It was shipped within an hour of me ordering it late afternoon on the 23rd. The purse arrived mid day on the 24th!!! Thank you for saving Christmas this year Billy’s! You have made a permanent customer out of me in the future.

They are super helpful! I was approached almost immediately, just to be negotiated is I needed any assistance they could help. Looking for new boots, I was led to exactly what I was looking for, and an alternative as well. Though my size want in the store, I was informed or was also at the other store, and they would have it sent over for my approval. I opted to go to the other store myself, and had the same excellent service there as well...a good consistent corporate culture and message that I mattered to them. Yup, I'll go back!

Excellent customer service, employees take time out to help you find exactly what you need. Recent visit on Saturday preparing for a Sunday wedding both Austin and Cody and the gentleman working the boot section all took a lot of time out to help me get equipped with exactly what I needed. Can’t say enough good things about these three young people, very professional and respectful sales staff.

Do not order from them. I ordered a hat back in February 2022 it is now august and still no hat. They told they’re not sure when they would get it in. I tried to cancel the order and their response was we will get with the manufacturer to check on the order. I feel like I’m getting the run around. My suggestion would be use a reputable company like Cavenders or Amazon.
