Parking lot is not well lit and needs to be restriped. No weekend hours for package pickup. And mail/deliveries are never out by 10am as they should be. People are friendly at least, and that's an improvement over one cranky old lady that really made you not want to go up there.

The post office itself is fine and the people who work at the post office have always been nice but the carriers are useless. They won't even attempt to deliver a package to my house, they fill out a pink slip before they leave the post office and if you try to meet her at the end of the driveway she speeds off down the road. Then when you call to see if you can pick up a package that you're waiting on at the post office you're not allowed to talk to anyone just the automated system that never gives you the option to speak to anyone.

I'm not sure why all of the bad reviews. I've always had a good experience when I go to this post office, as well as with the delivery drivers. Always friendly and accommodating. I've even had them (Tony) call me when one of my packages from another delivery company was sitting at the wrong address and he noticed when delivering mail there. He didn't have to do that.

I would have gave "0" stars if it would have let me. WORST customer service EVER! I have lived in Bertram over 30yrs and had a PO BOX over 30YRS and will be closing it TODAY! I had a yellow ticket in my box to pick my mail up. So I spoke to the RUDE grey headed older woman several times in the past and told her I work 12hr shifts in the ER 7am-7pm and I apologized I knew they were closed, but they will also be closed when I get home as well. making it impossible to come during open hrs. I rang the Bell and said please I just need my mail/bills. SHE screams at me through the door "I AM NOT OPENING IT SO GO AWAY WE ARE CLOSED" This lady does not need to be working in the Public! I am also calling the Main Headquarters today! I know other people who have also complained about her and something needs to be done!

My husband arrived 5 minutes before they closed, which is annoying, I know. But we both work and he got off of work early just to send this. They were charging $40 to ship a tiny box to NY.. which I’ve shipped at other locations the same thing and it was never over $6.. And while he was transferring money into his account to pay, the clock struck 4:15 (closing time) and THEY LITERALLY KICKED HIM OUT AND DID NOT SHIP THE PACKAGE. He literally bought a box and taped up the label IN THE STORE and they wouldn’t take his package to ship. This is the most outrageously horrible customer service I have ever heard of in my life.

Have you dealt with the RUDE grey headed older woman at the Bertram Post Office??, She is the rudest person I have ever encountered EVER in customer service, in my life. I am so confused as to why she still has a job, as there are many complaints on her. I guess when you work for the Government, you can treat people however you want and get away with it. Very sad. I hope that one day, she can get rid of the obvious bitterness and anger inside of her. I will pray for that woman! I would give a 0 if I could. :( They do have a VERY NICE Gentleman there that actually cares about helping, maybe he can give her lessons on how to treat others.

The worst post office I’ve ever used. The carriers are useless. They don’t attempt to deliver packages and I even had a time where the package was claimed to be delivered, then immediately updated to say there was a problem with the address, just to find out the carrier said they delivered it so they didn’t have to work and then would just deliver it the following Monday. They just do whatever they want to do, when they want to regardless of policy. Absolutely infuriating post office. And of course you can’t call in because the hold time for the USPS corporate is 1+ hours and the hours for the office is ridiculously inconvenient where they are closed before and after work. Horrible. DO NOT USE THIS POST OFFICE.

Worst customer service EVER!! There was a lady sending off certified letters. I get it, it was a lot of envelopes but along with someone being in the back who could help check out. Never once was I told sorry it’s going to be a minute or nothing. The line gets to 5 people and the guy at the checkout counter says “y’all might as well just come back tomorrow” and laughs... excuse me?? Why not apologize then try to get ur helper in the back to come help check out/ grab packages...but all we get as customers is come back tomorrow no thanks!

The older lady that sometimes is at the front desk has absolutely no idea of customer service! The man that is usually there is very nice and helpful. The lady should be fired or kept in the back. She is a bitter angry person

Needed package and never open on Saturday. Inconvenience of a lifetime, could possibly lose an animal over this. They constantly put these letters in my mailbox saying that they attempted to deliver package when they never had the package in the truck to begin with.

I went there one and it was enough for me. The is a old lady that works there and she has to win a prize of AWFUL service, very RUDE, no manners and dismissive. I’ll drive further not to deal with that kind of service.
