We stayed at an Airbnb close by and decided to stop by here for dinner. We ordered onion rings for appetizers and easily one of the best onion rings we've ever had! The breading was well spiced, and the onions themselves were tender and sweet. I had the fried catfish which was pretty good and not dry at all. My partner ordered a small order of chicken fried steak which was huge! The gravy was flavorful and the steak itself was delicious! We shared a pecan pie for dessert and absolutely no complaints! Overall a great dinner for a decent price and we definitely would stop by again if we are on the area.

A NICE PLACE TO STOP AND HAVE A BITE. We had their chicken fried pork tenderloin lunch special. It was fantastic, it was served with mashed potatoes and we got a side of grilled veggies. These were elevated from the standard mix vegetables with the inclusion of mushrooms. The pork was hand breaded and tender. The lunch special included a drink and set us back for less than $11.00 each. Well worth the money. We will be putting this place on our rotation list.

The worst experience Ive had in a restaurant in YEARS.If you decide to try it, absolutely avoid the King Ranch Casserole special. It’s probably the most disgusting thing I have ever been served in my life. I wouldn’t even consider it a casserole as it wasn’t baked. I suspect it was just mixed together in a big pot… everything had the same texture and it came out looking like vomit. It was served as a bowl of slop with a spoon. I am seriously traumatized.The fried cabbage tasted ok but it was literally standing in grease and would have made me sick if I ate more than a couple bites.$40 down the drain, please don’t waste your money. I never even want to lay eyes on this place again… it was sooooo bad.

They were known for the catfish special on Friday!!!! It was served fresh with nice meaty pieces. But, now I have to put catfish nuggets together. They quantity & quality has went out the window. It came with 2 dry hush puppies. One unsatisfied customer.

Love this place!! Breakfast is delicious!The staff treats you like family.Walked in with no wait multiple times I’ve come.It’s a great addition to a small town and worth the drive if you don’t live there!

This place dont look like much from outside. But OMG the food is so good. Large quality for the price. We had chicken fried steaks. Large and small one. Fried pickles. We will definitely be going back to this place. Yummy! Staff very friendly. Very enjoyable atmosphere.

I ordered a grilled cheese with tomato and tater tots. I got a grilled cheese without tomatoes and french fries. Very greasy french fries. The lemonade I ordered had a horrible taste to it. I don’t know if it was old ice or what the issue was but it tasted bad. The waitress was overwhelmed because they were understaffed there. The booths are tore up and there’s tape and patches on the booth seats. This was my first time eating there. I had better hopes because I live very close - not impressed the first time. Just being honest about my experience.

Immaculate food with a side of southern hospitality. (: One of the best burgers I've ever had. (Large patties if you can barely handle a normal double cheese burger do not get double patties here.) It's a saltier one but immediately, I feel it's an 8.75/10 burger. Tried some of my parents courses and that chicken fried steak is particularly tasty. Very suprised with the consistency of the menu, all the sides were delicious. A must stop if your nearby!

The Junction Cafe is definently worth going to eat there. The burgers are old fashioned style. The chicken fried steak is awesome and the desserts are yummy. All homemade. The owner is a wonderful lady. I ordered a lot of food just for me plus I ordered dessert so I spent over $25 dollars. I enjoyed my dinner and I will go back to try the Philly Cheese Steak.

Went for breakfast the food was ok , my husband’s pancake was not cooked all the way through . But my food was delicious . Be careful not to order too much ! Good hometown vibes ! ( noted the art work and walls were very nice and well done )

Small town diner style eatery serving up bountiful proportions for breakfast, lunch and dinner.I visited Junction Cafe after living in SoCal for a few years. The country fried steak with two eggs was offered in two sizes, a small and a large, and I ordered a large just to see how big Texas sized it would be and I was not disappointed.As an added bonus our server Ashlyn was great!

Decent fare. More options than Hobo Junction in Liberty Hill. I had the swiss and avocado burger with sweet potato fries and quite enjoyed it. The patty was thick and juicy, there was plenty of cheese, and lots of avocado atop the cheese.The sweet potato fries were kind of bland compared to what I've had in other places, but still worth getting.Service was also wonderful and spot-on!

Wonderful and friendly service. Great food at every meal. Banana cream pie is to die for and chicken fried steak is delicious. All the sides are super yummy.
