Really hurts the customers when store manager walks out on company and the other manager believe they are GM gets new job leaves untrained female associate to run the store without proper training and gets more hours without any compensation as a frequent customer to dollar general and an avid reviewer it really upsets me to think Dollar General would do this such of a thing. If dollar general reads this you can respond

I just had the worst experience ever with the checker at Dollar General. Amy was extremely rude. She needs some customer service skills or a different job. Not impressed at all.

I usually don’t have a problem with this store. But today on the other hand was different. I know everyone is going through a lot right now is these trying times. And trying to keep the shelves stocked is a lot of work these days. But I also have an essential job and can’t always get to the store but when I do I don’t expect for the employees to be so rude. I would never roll my eyes at one of my customers and never talk so rudely to them but your manager needs some customer skills training and so do one of your checkers. I’d rather shop somewhere else than to be treated so poorly. Have a nice day.

There is not a grocery store here, but this Dollar General has a small selection of produce and salads. So that is great when we don't want to travel 10 miles down the road for something fresh. And they have a good selection of canned and frozen foods. Good job Dollar General. I would give it 5 stars if it was a little bigger and more organized, but all things considered it's kept up better then most.

This store was fantastic! I wish the one near me was anything like it! It was clean, orderly and didn't smell funny. They have an amazing variety of products including fresh produce at reasonable prices. It's a little farther from me but the drive is well worth it when you just don't have the time or the patience for the bigger grocery stores!

Great store! Can always count on some groceries but there have been times when we weren't able to find an item because it ran out. Apart from that, the checkout is always friendly and welcoming!

I don't know whats going on at Dollar General in Bertram but it is not good. Spaced out very untrained new staff now. Can't get down aisles because of merchandise everywhere not put up. I wish that they get it together soon. Cleanliness and neatness seem forgotten too. Wheres District managers for this store?

They seem to have a little bit of everything, yet a little too much. Difficult to get around with a cart and other shoppers as the store is too small for all the stuff they have. Staff has been very friendly and helpful each time I have visited.

I was in your store on Sunday 8th of july 2018! I was very sadden to view two employees at the store who looked like the slept in thier clothes and also. They smelled of body odor very much! That store use to be very clean kept and organized and empolyees were pleasant and friendly and clean ! Someone needs to check that store on weekends to see what we the customers see! I feel your current manager needs more training and coversations with thier employees!Concerned customer!!!!!!!

There were 13 people in line in front of me and one checkout person when I went in the first time. Had to go right back in after I left and there were 5 people in front of me but two checkers at that point. So seems like quite a busy store. They have a selection of everything from produce to beer and wine.

Could you people get some decent pinto beans in this store. Don't you even know that when dry pino beans turn dark they have expired. When they turn dark on the shelf at my house they go in the garbage.A shelf full of expired beans is a wast of space. If they say they haven't expired, they've been repackaged . They are not fit to eat, nor safe to eat.

I have been to many Dollar General stores but this one is a better one. Customer service was great today. Aisles and shelves were stocked and not all over the place.

This place is funny because when older people go in there they get carded But i being young dont get carded. Also I get followed around by that scrawny white girl like I'm trying to steal too dollars worth of deodorant haha. I go there every day bc it's the only store in town. Really irritating that they follow me when I probably make more money than they do. Also funny how I have to tell the people at the register how to ring me up (which buttons to press etc) super irritating. Also when they are stocking they dont keep people on the register and u have to wait in line while they do nothing about it.

Highly recommend that they fire “dan” his customer service SUCKS, he ID’d an 80 year old man, was completely rude to all the customers. Didn’t even get a hello or have a nice day. Also he threw away my receipt without asking if I wanted it.

I’m SICK of expired product from this store. It’s happened like 8 times. Just this morning my 6 year old son was eating yogurt that we bought 2 days ago. Expired weeks ago. Avoid this place if you have any sense.

DG in Bertram is not just a larger convenience store, it is also our local grocery store. There are fresh fruits and vegetables as well as a large section of frozen entrees and meats. It can be a bit crowded and checkouts may have lines, but it is the only grocery option in town

They always seem to have inventory in the middle of the aisles and you can't get down the aisle as a result! The only plus side is it's convenient.

The woman in there who is short and has dark hair is very inapropriate. She flirts with men while she working with no regard to the fact that they are married. She's very unprofessional and has lost us as customers who come in there daily, because of how she acted. Her job is to be a cashier, not to flirt with customers.

our local dollar general in bertram has undergone a remodel and has extensive refridgerated items as well as fresh produce. also cold beer and some wines.

It is what it is. Messy and low quality merchandise. There are some things I might buy there, but not much. I prefer Dollar Tree, hands down.

Its ok , but really they are slow in no hurry and not sympathetic to .y hurry either . has two registers but 1 is all they really use . Management needs improvement.
