Stopped here today on the way through Benjamin. Place is extremly clean, and the fresh food we got here was very good and for a good price. Staff were nice and helpful.I have been here more than once and always want to stop at this wonderful gas station.

Between Lubbock and Wichita Falls this is my favorite stop. The bathrooms are very clean and nice, the hot snack food is decent, nice selection of snacks and chips. And as soon as we turn the bend and my kiddo sees "the big metal cowboy" he always gets excited and knows Papa's house is not much further.

Always stop here on our travels on Highway 114. Friendly staff, good options for food and drink. Pet area with disposable baggies is great for the four-legged friends too.

Okay, so this review is loooong overdue, but here it is.One of the many things that happened to me on the way back home from the holidays was getting a flat tire. I had been driving for about 30 minutes on a leaking tire hoping to find a station that was open. The couple I stopped at didn't have working air. It must have been around 9:30 p.m. since Ranchland closes at 10. Needless to say, there was nothing open (or working) for a while, being that most of the smaller towns in Texas shut down around 9.When I finally got to the Ranchland, I was happy to see some movement, but when I tried opening the door, it was locked. I could see that there were still people inside. I knocked on the glass and was approached by Gage who told me where the air was. When I tried to add some air, it didn't work. I went back and asked Gage if he could help me. I was hoping that I was doing something wrong, but unfortunately, it just wasn't working (surprise!).Long story short, after various attempts to get some help, including a local guy who advertised round the clock assistance with such problems, both Gage and Jaden changed my tire. On the topic of this local guy, very frustrating when you advertise 24/7 help and your voicemail is full, you don't text back or bother to call back. Yikes. Bad for business.Anyways, there is absolutely no way I would have been able to change the tire on the huge Nissan Armada I was renting. Not to mention, it was freeeeeezing, ridiculously windy (I ended up hitting a blizzard a couple hours later). I was so fortunate the good Lord put Gage and Jayden on my path. I was traveling alone and the last thing I wanted was to be stranded in the middle of nowhere. These two young men were so polite and so happy to help, it was refreshing. I was (and am) very happy with the level of customer service and plain human kindness these two young men showed towards me. They absolutely went above and beyond and they definitely deserve a raise, or, at the very least, I hope their boss realizes what kind of employees he has working for him. I'm sure both will get far in life with such an amazing level of customer service and a desire to help others.

This is my half way out stop when I go to pick my son's up from their mother. It's the ONLY gas station around in miles in all directions, but it is a great gas station. The food is the 💣. The bathrooms are hit or miss on cleanliness. The variety is great and the service is usually great.

The store is upkept and the staff are great. Food is comparable to Allsups. They also appear to have a BBQ menu, called Badlands BBQ. With Deli and BBQ sandwich choices, sides and even salad with BBQ salad choices.

Great sandwiches and they ended up being a lifesaver -- we thought there were gas stations nearby but nope... Had to U- Turn. They were patient with my aging mother. Called us endearing terms like sweetie. And remembered my name when we stopped through the next day! Impressed!Management --may wanna post a sign saying that your stop is the last one in x miles and you'll have even more business lol 🤣😆.

Nice place to stop , on the way to Lubbock,Tx……nice clean bathrooms …. Hot food and deli options…and very nice people working there!!! Also , has semi truck parking across the street .

The gas station was extremely nice. But people just park and block pumps making it extremely difficult to actually get fuel. We spent a good half hour there just waiting.

Very nice oasis for travelers. But, the store is too small so it can be difficult to get down the aisles. Friendly employees.

Great place to stop! Very clean, great staff, and awesome food. I stopped on my way home after a business trip and was pleasantly surprised. I got a BBQ sandwich which was really flavorful. And bonus the candy bar I got as a treat was obviously fresh and didn’t taste like it had been sitting around. My new go to stop on the way to Lubbock

Went to ⛽️ up vehicle. Price was surprisingly low, and the mens bathroom was surprisingly clean! Employees inside the well stocked store were all very polite and professional 😀. Even the customers were very small town friendly.

If you drive by Ranchland is the best. BBQ pork sandwich is something you have to try.The wife and I always stop here. You won't be disappointed! Nice folks.

I was running low on gas. My car said fool, we got 45 miles before your S.O.L. This was the only gas station 150 miles away from Lubbock, Texas. As pleasant and all as this place is, if you are not prepared, the lack of gas stations could make this one a long wait. We were headed to Wichita Falls and there was a lot more no gas around.

Had a bad experience at the Ranchhand in Benjamin Texas. The store is NOT horrible lines at the pumps, and restrooms a line of about 20 women stood through that line then only 3 stalls. Waiting on a stall get in one and there’s PEE all over the seat. Owners seem to only care about the American dollar NOT the customs. The customer is where that dollar comes from.

This location used to be one I avoided at all costs. However, during my recent experience, I was greeted by a young blonde woman. Her name was Alyssa. She gave my family and I better hospitality and service than we would have found in a 5 star restaurant. This girl went above and beyond for every customer she encountered and it was obvious that she took pride in that. She took our order, prepared our food, delivered our food and even came back to ensure our satisfaction. Good help is hard to find these days but this women showed me that it's still out there.

Nice place to stop on this long stretch to no where. The staff isn't as friendly as you would think considering the small town they are in. I think they could use a slice of humble pie and smile every once in a while. Other than that great place to stop stretch your legs and grab a snack.
