Super clean store with a great selection of animal feeds and supplies, even for exotic pets! They also have an animal sales room that has mini pigs, rabbits, chicks, lizards, rats, and more. I was very impressed with how healthy and clean the animals were! I got my dogs some toys and the prices were better than chain stores!

The only place I'll buy our pets' food! Friendly and efficient service, and they always offer to help us out to the car if they think our hands are full. Store is clean and well organized. Well staffed.

The crew that works here is the absolute best! I came in a couple days ago with a newborn kitten that a homeless person had gave to me at a stop sign, and everybody at the store was so helpful and making sure I got everything needed for the survival of this kitten. There is one girl in particular her name is Haylynn Is absolutely amazing. This girl not only fed the kitten for me while I was there. She has also offered to take care of the kitten while it’s being bottle fed for me and she is a blessing. I definitely recommend this place even if you’re not buying anything just stop in because they are seriously the friendliest people I’ve ever came across. If I could give you guys more stars than five I definitely would and I will definitely keep you guys in mind for anything I may need from y’all store

My family and I visited 4/3 around 6pm. The older blonde woman at the front was rude and short with my sister when we asked about the birds did not appreciate it whatsoever. My family has loved shopping here for years but I was genuinely thrown off by her. When other customers came in she was very polite.

Good feed and hay prices. They've got Bluebonnet, which is a great horse feed. The roundbales are top quality, and they have Dario Brothers alfalfa cubes (IMO, the best out there).Must have a good manager, as the help is top-notch... from the folks at the counter to the guys loading the truck. Always a pleasure to go there.

One of the three chicks we bought dropped dead two days after bringing them home. I understand things happen, the dead chick isn’t really why I’m giving this place 1 star. Their customer service when we bought the chicks and supplies was lacking. And to note this is not my first time raising chicks so not a skill issue. I’ve raised and had a flock before, I’m not buying Easter basket chicks.We had to interrupt conversations between staff to get the chicks.And then when trying to ask the girl in the pet room questions about them and even to get what we wanted she kept not understanding very simple questions. I had to tell her about four times that I also want one of the little yellow ones.The girl in the pet room told us they had been short staffed and not able to care for the animals like they should. They all had pasty butt- which in retrospect I should t have bought them but they were all eating and running around with and looked healthy. Two of the chicks had poop stuck to them and dried on that we had to bathe when we got them home.When I called the store to ask about a refund or replacement the woman who answered the phone interrupted me to say “we don’t have any chicks” and so I asked about a refund she just said “nope”. Not friendly or helpful, not even polite. And sarcastically said “sorry”I won’t be shopping at any Russell feed again, and if you care about any sort of customer service or the health of your animals neither should you.A few years ago (and at a different store) I had nothing but praise for this chain but apparently it’s gone way down hill.

I did not give me a refrigerator park or even tell me that my dog's vaccination needed to be refrigerated when I purchased a vaccine for my puppy. I could have administered the shot and never even known that it was no good.Then my puppy could have got parvo and died. It needs to be made known with every single vaccine that requires refrigeration. Along with the details of that. The kids that work there are really sweet and very helpful. This one thing is not something that employees of the feed store should ever falter on. In my opinion.

Beautiful store and the employees treat you like family… if this location doesn’t have what you need, the one 12 minutes down the road usually does. Russell feeds in Benbrook is the coolest I’ve seen… especially to bring the little ones to pet the pigs and ducks.

They fill propane tanks! The gentleman filling my tanks said there is someone certified to fill tanks 7 days a week. The staff is welcoming and friendly.I normally get my tanks filled at TSC, but lately they aren't able to do it for some reason or another. I'll no longer get tanks filled at TSC after my positive experience at Russell's.

Got all of our chicken supplies here and the staff was always friendly and helpful. The store is well laid out and easy to navigate. Always clean and if they are out of something, the staff can typically give you an update when it will arrive back in stock.
