Love this place. A woman was there to greet you as you walk in. As she directed us to the aisle we needed a young man came over to assist us. A couple of the bigger stores leave you to wonder and search for either your product or assistance and it gets kinda frustrating. Thank you Ace. We'll be doing our shopping here .

Ya know I woke up with the ace hardware jingle in my head because I needed to get the parts for my camper shower. I went in and started looking and was making very slow progress when this employee came up and said ya need help? I said yeah! Took about five minutes and he had all the parts in the cart and I was ready to go!

Not sure why they charged me $24 for this bag. They seem a little confused between the register and the people loading outside dirt.Those guys outside loading dirt need to pay raise because you can tell they really hate their job by the way they throw the bags into the truck

I prefer Ace over Lowes and Home Depot. Employees are friendly and helpful. They actually have enough staff to help you. You don't even have to ask for help, they just offer it. They set up a Traeger grill and were giving away samples. It was delicious.

Good place for customer attention. They are quick to point you in the right directions for your search of items. May pay a bit more than the larger hardware store, but save a longer drive, and there are enough employees to attend to customers' needs.

Very clean, organize and above all very nice staff. I noticed that they have all the odd things you won't find in the two other larger home improvement stores.What they lack, Ace has it. All the staff that walked by me asked if they can assist me. I can tell that they where very sincere in helping one.They have good parking, it is shared with workout establishment. No issue finding a spot.I will be stopping in more often, appreciate the location and how easy it was to find what one needs.

Everytime I've needed something and I can't find it closer to my house, I come to Ace and they always have it!! It's a bummer that it's almost a 30 minute drive of not I'd shop here all the time. I needed a 60 amp breaker that I couldn't find anywhere but Ace had it!! Thanks for saving the day!

The staff here are always helpful and wait to be assigned a customer, basically.I've only been to Ace and not found maybe 1 or 2 things I've needed since I started shopping here last year, instead of the big box hardware stores in Temple. Saying that, I mean that it fills the need without needing to go to Temple, which I love, since I live in Belton.They offer military discount and have Ace club membership deals. ✅️✅️

I was about to buy a Stihl trimmer and before I went to go ahead and buy it, they removed the attachments as it wasn’t included. Didn’t honored their mistake either. Good store most of the times but I didn’t like them removing an attachment before I paid for it.

Loved how friendly the staff were. Both times I've been here, the staff were all super helpful. I've had multiple employees check up on me and ask if I needed help finding anything. I even walked in once not knowing the size of something I needed and a staff member was able to help me find the correct size. Definitely made my shopping experience quick and easy.

Update: Consistently good service year after year. Older: Local, friendly service, and offering a Military discount. I check here before going to the big box stores. Keep your money local to the best extent you can. I have always been greeted and helped when I visit the store; it keeps me loyal, as I hate having to track down assistance at the big stores.

Excellent service. No item is too small for them to assist you in finding it ($2 shelf hooks). My 70 year old husband needed a ladder to safely reach a 12 foot ceiling and the assistant brought two ladders (8 and 10 foot) out for him to climb upon. It ended up that we needed the 10 foot ladder to feel safe. Best service in town.

Good place with lots of options. .... BUT they shopper stalk you like no one's business.PAY ATTENTION to them and you'll notice they (The greeter mainly) talk over their radios about every last person in the store. They identify you by the hat your wearing, the shirt you are wearing, etc It's like they think everyone in there is out to shop lift...There's a limit to trying to be helpful to your customers.It's VERY creepy.Drive to Salado and shop at the ACE there. They're much better.
