I went to the Family Dollar a few nights ago and Jessica was on register and she was closing, I went 4 minutes before closing (10pm) and the doors were locked I noticed she was standing by the glass window and I got her attention and I asked if she could please let me in that I only needed one thing for a female emergency, She looks in my face and said no and walked away. I will no longer be putting my money into this store establishment. after being denied me of Service I went across the street to Cefco and as expected they did not have the 1item i needed then i drove to 2 minutes down the road to long horn and they also didn’t have what i needed, i then had to drive 17 minutes to go to heb to get what i needed. We live on Holland road where having a family dollar is essential because driving into town for 1 item is an inconvenience. im disappointed that my store that’s supposed to be here for me let me down.

Month ago ran in real quick to pick up dog for paid 14.50 for Cesar wet dog food so went in yesterday it’s now $17.50. There is no way it’s cost that much so will not go back. HEB has for $12.85.

I shop at local dollar store chains quite frequently and I have never taken the time to give an unsolicited review of any of them. After my second visit to this particular location, I found myself compelled to post a review right away. The staff at this store are so kind and helpful, at both visits I was offered more assistance than I ever expected to receive.My first visit was on a Saturday morning at about 11:45am. The store was fairly busy (considering the pandemic) yet an associate saw me approaching the door, on crutches, andcame to help me inside and offered to push a basket for me. Then, both times, after check out, the cashier signed off the register to hold the door for me to exit and at this visit also carried my bags and helped me into my vehicle.I thought I just got lucky that Saturday morning, perhaps the manager was close by and since the store is fairly new, maybe the employees were stepping up their game but after tonight, seeing no manager during my visit and the employees (a stocker carried my hand basket to the register for me after I got more than I had planned) going above and beyond a second time proved to me that this store has some outstanding staff members!Thank you for making me feel like I wasn't a burden and that you were happy to help. You have a lifelong customer now.

Not friendly at all I believe his name was Kevin, very rude all the way around didnt greet us, didnt say have a nice day, didnt ask if we needed help. My mother is disabled so it took us a long time to get through the store he followed us around as if we were trying to steal things.Then when i told him an item had a different price he didnt bother to look he just stared at me and say so what do you want. I wont be returning to this store I wont let anyone I know return to this location.. Definitely going the extra mile to the other one where the service is way better.

This is my favorite dollar store. The employees are friendly. The store is well organized. Just a better atmosphere all the way around. I go out of my way to go to the store
