This is the worst Family Dollar I've ever been to. I went in and purchased a foil balloon to be filled with helium. after purchasing the balloon, the cashier could not get the helium tank to fill the balloon. She asked me to step aside while she waited on the customers behind me, and give her just a moment. And I stepped aside until she was done and then she tried again. She couldn't get it to work. She tried calling her several times into a little microphone thingy that she has no response. She then saw the manager come around the corner and started calling out to her but the manager did not respond, she had earbuds in so she couldn't hear her calling out to her and she didn't look to see the growing line. So I went over to the manager and asked if she could help me get my balloon filled. I had already paid for it, but the cashier couldn't get it filled. The manager told me oh well yeah of course we don't have any helium. I said OK well I already paid for this balloon. She walks over to the register and starts typing on it. I thought to give me a refund. But I was wrong. I walked up to the counter and she looked at me sideways, and said ma'am, I'm sorry, but you're gonna have to go to the back of the line. I'm about to ring all these people up. And I said you weren't gonna give me a refund. Just left the balloon on the counter and said never mind and walked out of the store because I didn't have time to wait in line a third time. If I could give this zero stars I would because the experience was awful. I won't be back! The family Dollar in temple has employees and and manager that are much more helpful, and the store is run much better.

Very disappointed with this Family Dollar Store #06107. I came in on February 20, 2023 and purchased a 16 roll package of Angel Soft Toilet Paper which is clearly marked by the Manufacturer for $10.95. When I got to the register and the clerk rang it up it came out to $11.50. I informed the clerk that there must be an error because the package is clearly marked for $10.95. She refused to honor that price. I will never shop at Family Dollar again. They received a manufacturers discount when they purchased the product in bulk from the company but meanwhile they are nickel and dimeing the customer by charging them an inflated price. I have attached a picture of the product as well as the sales receipt. I will be shopping at Dollar General or the Dollar Tree for the foreseeable future!!

Staff is rude. I called on 6/25 @8:30 to check if they had cool whip the employee I spoke with uncertain and refused to check if it was in stock. After I asked for his name his hung up on me. I tried calling back because maybe i thought it was an accident but still answer he I believe it was him refusing to answer the phone.

Love coming to the store has a little bite of everything. Close to my house as well. Biggest disappointment is that the outside and the inside of the store is not very clean or kept up with. When the store first opened it looked great and was nice and clean. Now after some years of being open is does not seem like anyone is coming by to check on the store or keeping up with it.I feel as if the store is making money and people keep coming in and buying things everyone just thinks it’s doing fine. Some updates and making sure everything was nice and clean and front doors were working properly would help a lot.

This is where I shop about 85% of the time. It's close and convenient. The employees are nice and they've been doing an awesome job keeping it clean and sanitized. There are carts again which is a huge plus. It makes shopping A LOT easier.

Some guy was following me and my 9 year old daughter around the store today. It made my daughter feel uncomfortable, she's the one that noticed him. When we was in line I watched him talking to one of the employees there than went over by this man who was shopping and was watching him like he did us. Smh

Worst Experience I’ve ever had at a Family dollar before. I’m here visiting Belton, TX all the way from Tampa, FL . I walked into the store , things were all over the floor and disorganized. I picked up a few items for myself and my girlfriend also picked up a few things for her. Which some of those things included alcoholic beverages. Both my girlfriend and I are of legal drinking ages. She’s 21 and I’m 22 . Both of our Drivers Licenses Are Valid and up to date. Before we could even present our Identification cards to the cashier, he refused to let us purchase the drinks. Then he told me to leave the store. I’m very dissatisfied with his customer service skills. And Im definitely contacted corporate about it tomorrow morning .

Went in to see if we could air up a single balloon we bought from another Family Dollar (their helium was out), spoke to the assistant manager KEVIN, who was very rude and made something up about a meter being on the helium tank and the company being regulated on helium (not true bc the other one said it shouldn't be a problem) went back to the other one and they said there was no meter. He lied to us and was rude, take ur business to heb as Kevin suggested I should do.

Posted on web they' d be open until 10.00. Confirmed when I called. Got there at 9.00 , lights were on and all employees present, doors were locked. While I was there, eight (8) seperate people had the same experience.

It's a great place for quick things although the prices do seem to be going up-and-up probably due to the economy. All in all still a great place to shop

Quite like this Dollar store thing since I got fired from my job. Be sure and hit the Penguin Ice just across the parking lot. If you plan on eating at the itinerant taco wagon next door, the price of the generic Pepto will be beneficial.

This place is not a very clean or organized store. It's actually very ghetto for Belton!! I only come here if I have to.. I do not recommend it. Go to the dollar store on 6th Ave or just go to Walmart!

They need a larger parking lot. Hard to get in and out of. Not a very clean store. Bathroom is very nasty.
