Pharmacy staff, including pharmacists are rude and not customer service oriented. Never experienced this type of behavior from people who are medically trained professionals. Several times this pharmacy has said they didn’t receive scripts from different medical professionals. The electronic process had to be repeated.

“0” STARS!! As a medical professional, it is frustrating to know that people are going through hassles to get medication. This is probably one of the reasons why people fail to take them. My daughter needed meds for her ear infection and was told by CVS that she didn’t have insurance coverage and was offered the discount card price of $140. She in fact had insurance and after waiting over an hour, went next door to H‑E‑B and got her meds under insurance for $10. I then called CVS to let them know that they may have a glitch in the system and they didn’t seem to want to listen. Later found out it was due to my address not being updated in the system. Ok fine but a few days later a medication that I was told was on order never arrived I waited a whole week and still nothing. They said another store had it in another city and that they were going to send it there. I drove to the other store only to be told that they did not have the medicine available and that this CVS was told that. I NEVER GOT A CALL to tell me this and waited again wasting time and gas!! I just moved all my meds to H‑E‑B and was able to get my medicine on that day. Then when H‑E‑B requested my profile, CVS FAILED TO GIVE THEM ALL MY MEDS! They sent meds I wasn’t taking vs the ones I regularly fill. They need more training and need to learn how to listen to the customers. Stay away and save the headache!!

Hands down the absolute worst pharmacy in Bell County. Pharmacy staff answers the phone with "Yeah, watchu need". As my prescriptions have required refills I've transferred all of them to HEB and every single time I've experienced issues with CVS failing to send them. When a prescription is out of stock, they don't inform you, just say it's delayed with no explanation / offer to check another location and no timeline for when it will be filled. One of the most overhyped, disorganized and disrespectful businesses in Belton.

This has to be the laziest Pharmacists I've ever dealt with. I RARELY go to get prescriptions filled unless I'm sick, so naturally I went on a day where I wasn't feeling well after a trip to the doctor. This CVS Pharmacy kept me waiting for an hour with little to no customers present other than myself. When I finally made my way to ask for an update, it turns out my prescription had been ready for quite some time. Christ Almighty.

I have been going to this CVS for a while now but the last three times I have called a head of time to make sure that my prescription is ready to be picked up, they say it is ready but when I go up there it isn't ready. Last time I had to wait an hour for them to fill my prescription even though I called a head of time. Today I called and talked with Jessica, she told me my prescription was ready but when I got there I couldn't even get my prescription because there wasn't a refill on file. She could have told me that there wasn't a refill available, so I could have called my doctor today. I will not be returning to this location, they have five people working and they are very slow. I do want to say that I did like Ashely the pharmacist, very nice person.

Rude staff. Automated system said my prescription was ready the night before. I thought I had a text that told me it was ready. The rude Mexican girl with fake eyelashes treated me like a drug seeker. In a cocky voice, she demanded to see the text.. She then snapped at me that I couldn't have Rx till tomorrow.... My doctor had uped my dosage at my visit. I was there prior to their lunch being over the day before also for my blood pressure medicine. I dropped my jaw at the conversations going on .. You know girls, God hears all your conversations, and also patients waiting for you to reopen after your lunch break.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!! By far the worst cvs I have ever been too. The pharmacy is the worst part, I have people that put me on hold for 20 minutes at a time just to pick up and hang up without saying anything. They’ll do this multiple times in a row before actually answering and talking. They’ve given me the wrong information regarding my prescriptions numerous times, sending me on a wild goose chase trying to fix stuff I shouldn’t be fixing. I will never be coming here again.

I just moved to Belton and had requested prescription transfers TWICE and was told both times that it could take a few days. Every employee I talked to had to ask me to spell my name not once, not twice, not 3 times... It is super annoying, but I get it, my name is not common. A few days went by, I called back to check on my prescriptions and they told me I did not even have an account, let alone any prescription transfers or pending orders. Finally I got my doctor to rewrite the prescriptions just to send to them and confirmed that CVS had received them. Then I called back to check on the status and was again told that they couldn't find anything and waited on hold for 15 minutes. Then she comes back on the phone and tells me that they got the prescriptions and was told to be there by 5pm. I drove there and called, and was told they would be ready by 5:45pm now. 5:45pm came and I am at the pharmacy drive thru and they told me it would be another hour. Then both employees I talked to had an attitude with me and proceeded to let me know how expensive my prescriptions were. Like ok?? I am aware of this. So I gave her the GoodRX membership info to put in my file and she comes back through the intercom to ask me if I wanted to get all 3 prescriptions... No, I didn't, I just had them filled to waste our time. B****! Last time I checked, I'm in charge of my own finances, not you. I do not need your input on the expense of anything I buy. If I needed financial advice, you would be the absolute last person on the planet I would ask. Extremely rude, incompetent employees that should not be in customer service. If you hate your job that much, get a different one.

Well, i do visit this location Monday through Friday. And all I have to say is that the front staff is super friendly. The Manager Donna is a sweetheart. Additionally, all the pharmacy staff always gives me a warm welcome when I show up.But the main point of this review is as follow. As many cvs that I go through, this store always is clean and most shelves are fully stock and The public restroom they offer has been the cleanest I have encountered as well. I always enjoy coming here. Keep up the good work!

I go to this pharmacy for all of my prescriptions and find the entire staff very friendly and helpful. I especially appreciate the pharmacist Shewan who double checked the medications I am taking to be sure there is no contraindications for the new medication I was prescribed. I am an RN and value his expertise and helpfulness. Thank you Shewan!

Rather crummy experience here today. First they tried to charge us over $100 for an old generic med that really cost under $15 with Good RX and then let us go without telling us that they didn't fill the post op pain med. I had to call and then they told me it was on back order. Horrible, horrible communication and service.

Called CVS and was told that Texas locations were accepting walk-ins. I tried to get an appt online but was unable to. I went through the drive through this morning and asked how to get my second dose... and the pharmacist (or tech, I’m unsure because I never saw an actual person) was completely condescending. They steadily repeated that walkins were only available after 2.... so I asked to make an appt for this morning... to which they curtly responded that this was still considered a walk-in which wasn’t available til 2. The person answering the window is exactly who you don’t want working in customer service. Let’s mock the people doing their part to stop COVID. Good plan. Walgreens forever.

The employees here in the store area and the pharmacy have always been nice to us. They always tell us hi when we walk in the door and wish us a good day when we leave. The pharmacists are always kind and willing to answer any questions we have. The only problem we have is we were told that the pharmacist from our previous pharmacy would be working there. It seems like once they got all of his customers switched over, he was moved elsewhere. Him being there was the reason that made the transition more comfortable, but that is a corporate problem and not an employee problem. The courteous staff here is enough reason to stay.

My husband’s insulin pen had been listed as “in progress” for three days. I called at 8:30 pm and was on hold for 29 minutes. At 8:59 pm, someone picked up the phone and hung up on me. I will be calling first thing at 8:00 am tomorrow. I’m usually pretty mellow, but my husband was just diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, his blood sugar is elevated and he needs his insulin. Thankfully, my prescriptions are at Walgreens.

dropped off a prescription and they said it would be ready at 5. I came back at 5:30m and stood in line until 6:00 just to be told it wasn't ready but would be ready in about 30 minutes. I left, came back at 8:00 and they said it wasn't ready. What the heck? I had to come back the next day and it was finally ready!

Worst customer service I have ever seen, heard of or experienced. I had waited in line like everyone else but when I had a question about a Discrepancy Of medication I was told to go back around the building and go to the back of the line and when I returned to the window again I was rudely greeted with how much the medication cost and I was paying way less on account of my insurance. All of which is information I never asked for. The worker was trying his best to belittle me for daring to have questions. I asked for my account to be moved to another cvs pharmacy in a close by town and that never happened. The second time I went there I sat patiently in the drive thru lane and when it was my turn the security curtain came down and no one would even look at me. It was 2 minutes till closing even tho I had been there for a full 10 minutes I wasn’t even given the Courtesy of being treated like a human. I guess I’m invisible to the cvs pharmacy well guess what I’m a ghost to them now. I know my little medication isn’t going to impact the cvs corporate bottom line but I won’t be spending my money where I’m treated like I don’t matter.

It’s such a pleasurable experience each time I use this location. The pharmacy staff, even while extremely busy, really works hard to get everyone’s prescriptions to them. I have to recognize Jewel this time because she always remembers mine and my daughters name and has called both doctors offices and my insurance to resolve some problems I’ve encountered in the past. Keep up the good work!

Just went into CVS to drop off a prescription for my 22-month-old son, 20 minutes after closing. The pharmacy tech told me it would be ready in the morning—fair enough. However, by the time I got back to my car, a store employee and the tech came running up and explained since it was for a child, it would be ready in a few minutes.I can’t say enough about that kind of integrity. Thank you for staying late to make sure my son gets his medicine.

Definitely avoid this place.I've been a routine CVS customer both in the store and at the pharmacy for years. Today was the last straw. I didn't even deal with the pharmacy and their issues today, which are numerous, but I found a major issue with the ONE elderly cashier in the store. I was checking out with my $2 free coupon, getting something that was under $2. It should've been easy. Well, not at this CVS! I got in line behind two elderly people, perhaps husband and wife, who were struggling to check out with the machine. They took a while. Plus the lady cashier was slow too, which made the process worse. But the worst part - the last straw - was the cashier lady PURPOSEFULLY kept them there longer by mentioning the additional coupons they just received on their new receipt, asking if they want to use them to buy Snickers, or whatever. (All my years of going to CVS and I have never encountered a cashier doing this, with such disregard for the customers in line.) This lead to them buying more things and struggling to pay, yet again, and us waiting more. I waited at least 10 minutes in line.I finally get up to the cashier to just hand her the coupon and be on my way, but she didn't make things easy. Right as I was walking up to her, some lady accidentally left the store with something, setting the alarm off, and she was confused, and the lady cashier said nothing. Confused wondering if the cashier was going to even address the issue, I saw she was looking at me so I just went up to her. She doesn't apologize at all for me waiting so long. She asks if I have a CVS card even though I was holding it was right in front of her. Then she proceeded to ask me if I wanted to sign up for some whatever, I said no. Then she asked me if I wanted to buy something else with the 0.50 cents left on the coupon. I said, "No - I've waited long enough to know what I want to buy." She was offended by my response, saying, "I was just trying to help the elderly with discounts." No sympathy whatsoever. I then said, "Well, I'm not elderly!" Meaning I'm not elderly so you don't need to "help" me with anything. She responded in a cheery voice, "Oh I know you're not elderly, you're a baby!" She then said, "Let me get your receipt." I thought, I don't need a receipt, because the coupon paid for it itself and I know I won't be returning it. I darted for the door.Nice job CVS - putting an elderly, slow lady, who wastes your time and persistently tries to upsell, as the only cashier in the store.I've also had numerous problems with the pharmacy. Cash registers at both areas of the store, front and back, at different times have been down for days. The pharmacy drive though is closed indefinitely because that register doesn't work at all now. The pharmacist is rude, I can barely understand the male pharmacy tech because he speaks in a whisper, and you're lucky if your prescription is ready when your online account says it is.

This CVS in Belton was once the best. In the past year they lost Thomas the lead pharmacist. After his passing Laura left and so did Joey. In the past few months being a loyal CVS customer spanning my life from Virginia to here. I am pretty much having to say adios. There are still a few good employees but due lack of being open on time, closing before you are completely helped with prescriptions, lack of good caring customer service and rudeness has taken it's toll. I have no issues going to Walgreens. One star is not even deserving.

I went in to get my second covid vaccine and there was zero other people In The store besides employees. When I asked to do the second shot they said they only take appointments and sent me to another location. This was frustrating because my first one with this location was walk in and second there was ZERO customers in the store. If it were busy I’d completely understand. I won’t be back to this location.

In the beginning of my switch to CVS pharmancy in Belton Texas, I was very pleased with the quick, professional development of a almost a perfectly good staff. But I the last script I picked up, just happened to be as they were opening up that morning. I was at the drive up window and was letting the female employee know my Birthday and name ETC.... She made the comment " Mr Wharton, it always seems your here right at our opening time's" . I was a lil surprised at that comment , as a regular customer , that several times a month, I do show up anytime of the pharmancy hours or open. Number one, I'm a 49 year old man with several chronic diseases in which I need my meditations. I pulled around and walk in the store and told the employee that it was none of her concern when I show up for my Dr prescribed meditations. And that I was no longer going to trade in Belton,Texas CVS location. That was very uncalled for and rude along with , she is lucky I did not make a formal complaint against her comment. RUDE, uncalled for, young LADY..... Good luck to her , and I hope next time she might just do her job instead of making comments on a custermers show up time's. Larry Wharton Jr

I usually go to the pharmacy in temple, 31st but this time I was closer to this one and request my Dr. to send my prescription here...AWFUL EXPERIENCE! The guy in the window (02/04/21 at 1pm) was very rude and with the worst attitude ever. First and last time going there.

I’ve had too many bad experiences with the pharmacy here. Today was the last straw. Today I went in with a prescription for something that the pharmacy did not carry and the pharmacy tech literally told me to “Google” it and maybe I could find where I could possibly get it. Wow! I went out to my car called Walgreens and even though they as well did not carry this item, they gave me multiple suggestions right away of who/where to call.

I love my Belton CVS. All the cashiers are always so welcoming. I have been only going for a month, and they have already learned my name and my kiddo's name. Awesome Service !!!
