The staff was very nice and easy to work with super friendly , but unfortunately I didn't have the same experience as everyone else with My 2 year old Dog. IM just now getting where I can talk about my dog. I had a 2 year old that was brought in and seen for a leg fracture..When I brought my dog in I was told that she had a fracture that was healing.I stated she had been limping for a couple weeks and she was acting normal playing and eating. So the vet decided she needed to cast it and keep her over night. THE vet DID mention possible cancer at that time but but no blood work or other exams were done to determine that. NEXt day she was ready to go with pain meds and I was told she was a healthy dog had all her shots and yearly exam everything looked good. I was told she didnt think it was cancer bcause she was young but a possibility. Couple days I notice my dog didn't have a appetite and didnt want the cast on. I Called the veterinary office and they stated could be the medicine give it a couple days. My dog started to get worse and worse by this time it's about a week and I take her back in she had a smell so bad was slobbering from being nauseated and wouldn't stand up. She Had severe swelling in her leg and it smelled so bad I had never experienced nothing like this her leg was completely dead from her cast being on so tight! Dont know what caused her swelling. VET stated her leg needed to be amputated it was completely dead and no circulation and she possibly had cancer I was devastated because I've been dealing with cancer in my family last thing I wanted to hear was cancer again. I even asked the vet was she 100 percent sure it was cancer she said No... obviously no blood work could of been done due to all the swelling. Maybe blood work or other necessary exams should of been done when i took her in the first time since they mentioned possible cancer at that time but none was done .They offered other options like more meds or therapy or put her to sleep. I dont understand how do u go from a bone healing to in a week having to amputate it. VET also stated there was bone missing which would indicate possible cancer I Wish there was necessary action taken place from the beginning if their was any doubt of cancer done when they first thought thats what it was so we wouldn't have that wonder if it was or not. BUT HER leg was dead..its like putting a tourniquet so no blood flows. I dont know if the cast was on to tight previous or did it just swell because of the bone that was broken At The moment I decided to put her to sleep so she didn't suffer anymore and I regret that decision I should of had a second opinion. My Autistic son was devastated because he stated he lost his best friend. I just hope no one else has to go through this.

Friendly customer service, but astronomically more expensive than other vet clinics. Wanted me to pay $283 per cat for neuter and vaccine's. Columbus animal clinic is only going to charge me $260 for both cats, and all their shots.

Love this veterinarian clinic so much. It feels like home. They provide the best care and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my fur babies. Dr. Novicke is fantastic and has been a great addition to the clinic. The additional Veterinarian has greatly improved service and shortened wait times, as they care for many animals in this town! They also have the best groomer in town, so it’s a plus plus for us 💯 picture of my favorite, most high maintenance girl, Marley

My dog went to their hospital multiple times over the years with the same issues and eventually she passed away because she was so miserable if their doctors would’ve known what it was instead of just getting us to purchase products that weren’t working things would’ve turned out differently. DO NOT RECOMMEND! They want you to just buy products to keep their pockets full! Worst animal hospital

I’m convinced that Dr Mary has single-handedly saved my barrel horses vision. Things weren’t looking good last month and thanks to her he will have full restoration of sight after a complicated corneal ulcer. These doctors are top notch and SO thorough. Love talking to Ms Sherry when I call.

Doctors and staff are excellent. Fixed KoKo up twice on emergency basis. And obviously knew the best course of treatment and had KoKo back chasing squirrels in no time!

Our Scooby Doo twisted his elbow playing Frisbee-fetch and was limping painfully Friday night. Called our regular Vet on Saturday but was off that day. Went to a nearby Vet who couldn't squeeze us in w/o an appt., so we reached out further and found Doc Marek's shop was under new ownership. Called, and they told us to come straight there. We did, and Doc Brent Sanders saw us immediately (we'd actually been there before, years ago w/ Doc Marek, had taken in adopts, and they still had others of our furry companions still on file). Doc Sanders diagnosed the issue immediately and put Scooby Doo on the road to recovery ASAP, and gave us guidance on how to manage and prevent injuries such as this in the future. Scooby is not a small individual, and by "not small" I mean quite a large presence (that's a full-sized 9' couch he's laying on in the pic!), so he's prone to these issues. Thanks to Doc Sanders, we know how to manage this. The facility has had a great makeover, it's immaculate, highly equipped, well staffed with professionals and is a great asset to Austin County's communities. Well done, indeed!

After a traumatic incident my dog went through! I’m very thankful that they squeezed me in such a short time matter. Dr. Kelly was fantastic! Front desk and assistant were very nice and helpful. After my visit they did a courtesy call which was very thoughtful of them. If your looking for a caring vet this is the place, I totally recommend them! ❤️

We had 3 deserted kittens. We took to this vet and wasn't even a customer. They looked at them and advised how old they were and how to take care of them. Two months later one of the kittens had an anatomy problem and we decided to put him down as he was in so much pain. They were so great and everyone was upset about Beau. They even sent a sympathy card to us. If you want someone who really care for you pet this is the vet to take care

I boarded my 5 year old dog at Main Street Animal last weekend from Thursday to this past Monday and was extremely happy with the services we received .And at a very reasonable rate.This was Esmee"s first time away from home and she was really excited about going on her first sleepover. Main St Vet is also my vet so she actually always gets really excited about going there anyway.

Thank you Officer Burton for helping us get in touch with the emergency services at the vets! The services were great, and the bedside manner even better! I'm so happy to say Rib Eye is doing well!!! An exceptional puppy that is grateful we picked him up out of the road and saved his life! He's the newest addition to the family!:)

Dr. Mary Sanders and her team have been SAINTS. I am new the Bellville area and have unfortunately had both small and large animal emergencies in recent weeks. Every time her and her team made sure that I was able to be seen the same day without question. Dr. Sanders really took the time to listen to me and was diligent in making sure my animals were taken care of. I have since switched all three of my pups and livestock to her practice.

My Great Dane had a huge swollen ear, they got me in within 5 minutes of calling them in a panic. The staff and vet was very nice and explained what was the cause and treatment. It was a great p ace of mind to be able to take care of my dog when she needed the help:)

The staff is extremely friendly, and knowledgeable I took my horse in over the weekend to get a laceration underneath her eye fixed the veterinary did a super job on stitching up the laceration and the vet tech was constantly keeping us updated with what was going on as far as medication and after treatment process I would recommend 10/10

Wish they had check her wounds. She had shaved her throat and made sure it didn't need stitches. I had to ask them to give her fluids after going 28 hours with no food or water. Just pray she gets better. And they should have told me Owls do drop their prey trying to kill them.

I drive here from League City because the prices are so much better than any veterinarian now n my area and I really like and trust Drs Sanders. When I considered knee surgery for my staffie they found an alternative treatment that worked and saved me thousands of dollars! Thank you!
