I actually had high hopes for this place. We took our 3.5 pound, all white teacup Pomeranian here for a groom and trim. We gave specific instructions on how to cut him and what areas to avoid. Instead we came back to our dog being left with roughly 2 inches of hair on his body. The groomer was not apologetic and insisted on stating that he cut him to where his shortest length of hair was. We explained that our dog is growing his hair back after a bad cut which is taking some time. Our notes or verbal instructions were not followed. My card was charged after I left. However, I was told that it would not be due to the misunderstanding. No one can fix this. Management has not been in contact with me. I’m so disappointed. We have to start hair treatments over which not only an inconvenience but expensive. Let’s no forget that it was my fur babies birthday. Photos (3) are of our dog with hair. Our little ShiPoo is treated like a prince here and always looks and smells great for days after his bath or groom. So glad we joined the bath club here. We take him 3-4 times a month and just had his first grooming last week. Very pleased with their service and especially with the treatment of our little guy.

This place is great! I love their membership so I can take my doggies whenever they need a bath and they wash them, dry them and brush them out. They bath them together so they’re happy. I normally wait for them to finish their bath and it’s always quick. Today I took my girl, the higher maintenance one to get groomed and she’s perfect! The Groomer is fantastic! She always comes back looking perfect! I love this place and the more I take the dogs the more comfortable they are with going.

I recently took my doggy (Maltese mix) there and absolutely loved how her haircut came out. When I rescued my doggy she was infested with fleas and ticks so I had to give her a very unflattering cut myself to try and get rid of the fleas and ticks. After 3-4 months of waiting for her hair to grow back I decided it was time for a professional cut since her hair was uneven all over. I was a little nervous because her skin is a bit sensitive but when the groomer brought her out at pick up time, she looked so much better and super happy, looked healthy, and she smelled so so good. 100% recommend and will be bringing her back in for regular cuts! Just look at the before and after pics 😍

Buster is always well taken care of at Petbar. Not only is the staff extremely caring, they do a wonderful job each time I take him to get groomed and accommodate any special requests I have. He is always excited to walk in the door which tells me they treat him really well. I would 100% recommend Petbar for your fury freind’s grooming needs.

PHENOMENAL SERVICE! These guys are great and our pets came out looking so clean and happy. Could not recommend them more and would suggest signing up for their subscription model which is really worth the value.Also our dogs loved the treats they have up front!

they were really great. i told them my troubles with past groomers, that they leave my dog super patchy, or bloody from trimming his nails. and they made sure to do an excellent job. really great customer service and the groomer tish, or tríss (i don’t remember his name properly) was very down to earth my dog really liked his energy. will be coming back!

I booked a full service grooming for my son, Bean, last Saturday. I was really excited because this place had great reviews and is much closer to me than his regular groomer. Unfortunately, Tristan did my son's cut and he did my baby so dirty so I'll just list out the issues I had:1) I was told the appointment would be between 3-4 hours - they called an hour later saying Bean was done. This typically wouldn't be an issue for me, however, I was so busy this day and our typical groomer at least gave until closing for pick up- Petbar gives you 1 hour after being notified2) Upon pick-up, Bean looked okay. After really looking at my dog later that day, I noticed how uneven his cut was and Tristan completely disregarded that I asked for my dog's afro NOT to be cut only trimmed.3) Petbar accommodated me to fix Bean's haircut and Angelina fixed him up but she's a limited available groomer with no business card :( And much to my surprise Tristan is allegedly a top groomer here so the employees were shocked he butchered my baby's cut.4) Angelina offered honest feedback that Saturdays are busy and Tristan may have just done his best given the circumstances (new dog, noisy/busy environment, etc.) But if issues arose and if he was unable to give my dog a cut worth 92$ after tax, I should have been notified of any issues that arose beforehand.5) Bean is not considered a medium dog, but their stupid pricing structure placed him at med size because he's 10 pounds. For reference, Bean is a toy poodle x maltipoo. Small dogs should definitely range up to 12 pounds but whatever.All that said, they're not touching my dog's hair again because the lack of communication is a serious issue for me. I'll likely be back to use the self wash station because it looked fabulous compared to the ones in pet stores.

I chose Zachary because of the positive reviews I read so I don’t know what happened or if he was just having an off day or what…I took my golden here, her groom is pretty bad. It looks like a child took scissors to her to be honest. I showed someone the results and they said “it looks like she’s buffering on a 240p video”.And while it wasn’t a big deal it took nearly five hours, the communication could’ve been better. I was told 2 hours and that they would call me. After 3 hours, I called just to make sure that I wasn’t supposed to just show up and that I was in fact waiting on a call/test. I got the text at 4.5 hours, picked her up and even asked if everything had gone okay and they said yes. Things happen, I get it, just some feedback that communication could’ve been better.Also, I would encourage them to ask for payment after the dog is brought out- cause if I had seen the results, I wouldn’t have tipped.Otherwise, everyone here is friendly but definitely won’t be returning.

Very clean and new/modern equipment. Options provided for different cleaning (shampoo/conditioner) materials, as well as brush/comb, and towels. Isolated/individual drying rooms available as well with brush, and ear cleaning materials. Dryers are very loud, and my pup is large, so the drying table was too high to get the dog up. Room has a floor attached leash clip to use on the floor.

It was such a great place, definitely I will be back again, they speak Spanish , and they explain and suggest what is best for your dog, I felt very secured that they have cameras to see where is your dog and how are they treating them , this made me feel safe and confident knowing that they treat our dogs well. *New Client Alert* Found this place simply driving down the road. A different company told me my PUPPY could not be groomed because he nibbled at the groomer’s hands too much. Zach - The groomer at Pet Bar, told me my puppy was going to be NO PROBLEM. My dog Skruff was in and out, looking great! Thank you!

Nilash was so great and made our visit so comfortable. My dog Liam is very scared around other animals, and Nilesh went out of his way to let me know when the salon was empty so Liam was able to be accomodated during his visit. I love that you dont have to bring anything besides your dog on their leash! I will be buying the monthly membership and returning every week to wash my dirty dog!

I took my dog for a full service bath for the first time this morning. I ended up purchasing a membership, as the price was very reasonable. He looked and smelled so good afterwards. There was an oversight on cleaning his ears and when I called to check if that should of been completed, I was assured that it was. Management rectified the situation and apologized for the mistake ( it happens 🤷🏻‍♀️). We are already scheduled for his next bath.

We took our GSD to petbar Bellaire and are extremely happy with the service. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming start to finish. My dog isn't very comfortable getting his nails cut, Special shout-out to Nilesh for calming him down and making sure the entire process is smooth. I feel very comfortable leaving my pet in their hands. We will definitely be coming back.

Scarletts cut is perfect. I made the appointment the night before checked her in and picked up with in one hour. Zackary did have Scarlett get comfortable with him before I left. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend Zackary. My baby never looked better. The only thing I suggest is pay a few more for a better shampoo she didn't smell fresh like she came from a groomers. But I will be coming back.

Amazing staff! My fur baby was treated very gentle since she had been having anxiety around groomers in the past. They took her in, played with her, fed her treats, and even had her hang out with a friend (they both bathed together!). There's a membership option which allows 1 bath a week and unlimited self washes. Can't go wrong with that! All around good experience.

Can't say enough nice things about this new business. The facility is top notch (clean and state of the art - even has cameras so you can watch your pet as he is being groomed / washed). They also have a monthly membership you can join. Zach the groomer was amazing with our giant golden retriever puppy who doesn't like baths or grooming. The owner and staff are also great. Because of his size, our eight month old puppy looks intimidating even though he doesn't have a vicious bone in his body (he is...a golden retriever), but they are very experienced and know how to handle big dogs as well as little ones. Absolutely recommend this place and don't plan to go anywhere but here for our dog's grooming.

Lovely, upscale, and clean facility with friendly staff! Our pup loves it here and they do a good job with his wash and groom. Bonus here is that they have the unlimited DIY self wash with the membership as well, which my kids had the pleasure to partake in a few times this summer! All in all I’d give this place a 10/10.

Sadly I won’t be returning here. Bella has never had fleas and after her grooming appointment last week, she kept scratching non-stop. She has sensitive skin so I thought it was something related to her skin. Then, I took a closer look and discovered she had fleas. Her skin was irritated on different spots due the flea bites. Bella is not an outdoor dog and as mentioned she has never had fleas. This happened after her grooming appointment. I was sad to discover this because I had really liked this place. The groomers there are very friendly and despite the good customer service after this incident I just can’t bring her back.

I took my English bulldog in for a grooming as she hadn't had one in a while. Zachery knew exactly what she needed right when she walked in and when she came out she looked amazing! The ability to either do a self wash or pay for the service to be done for you is what truly sets this establishment apart. The groomers are beyond knowledgeable, the staff welcoming and the facility so clean and organized. Will be coming back for sure!!!!
