The worst customers service in town . The employees especially overnight guy is very snippy and unfriendly.He is working in the wrong industry, the entire store staff has a bad vibe.

I mostly go there to buy tacos but often, depending on the person working at the time, the worker can be stingy with what is put inside the tacos and I feel like it was a poor value. It would be nice if it was more consistent but I almost feel like I'm gambling when I walk in after driving half-way across town to get there. Now I just pay attention to who works there and just walk right back out and make my purchase elsewhere if I see a worker that doesn't know how to make repeat customers. Would be better if they had an online menu for the day for Laredo Taco Company at this location.Update: not as good as a few years ago, going down IMO regarding Laredo Taco section.Yet another update: strange logic for a cook to take food to a table to avoid cross contamination by handing it to you (you don't touch him/her but the bag), but have a person that handles money all day (one of the cashiers), hand you the same bag of food.

Do not order breakfast here. I understand you're supposed to respect your elders, but one of the ladies died about 5 years ago mentally. I'd be surprised if no one dies from food poisoning eating here.

Always a line as is usual with all Stripes. They never mark the hot foods in glass case with what they are. Everytime I wanna stop and get a couple empanadas ya never know which is beef or chicken cause they label nothing. Just take a guess and ya got a 50% chance of getting what you want. Smh

I stopped at the store to pay for gas. I grabbed a bottled water and set it on the counter and was quickly told (per receipt: by CSH #8/DR#) that it was Buy 1 Get 1 Free, so I quickly went to grab a second bottle.I wasn't given any change, which I thought was strange, but it was only a couple bucks, so I didn't think too much of it until I got to the car and saw that I had been charged for both, though at a slight discount- but not nearly the deal I was "upsold on."This isn't just false advertising, it's theft by dishonesty. It's a shame that more and more businesses are taking part in these types of practices.

Extremely poor management. One cashier scheduled at peak times. I have been an almost daily, if not multiple times a day customer in that store for over 3 years. I have started driving across town before work due to the timeliness of service. The store is often dirty and not stocked, but that's to be expected when you only schedule 1 cashier. The staff does their best, but the conditions they are put in are ridiculous. And to top it all off, as much as I am in there, I rarely ever see any signs of management

A very nice, attractive storefront with an impressive food counter inside. Incredible aromas of enchiladas greet you upon entering. Their tortillas are all fresh-made; they were cooking a fresh batch when we walked in. Besides tacos ($2, giant, lots of meat), they also had a $3.99 enchilada plate (3 enchiladas plus two sides), and I also saw chicken fried steak in the serving area. I was a little disappointed that we didn't get a discounted price for gasoline when paying cash.

Had to wait 30 minutes for my fuel receipt. Cashier left the store to drop off coworker and left kitchen lady alone who wasnt crossed trained to assist me. Customer service very poor. After asking employee why she couldn't give me my receipt before she left, she still tried justifying her leaving. Guess it was more important to drop off co worker than attending the customers. Smh

Gas pumps don't read cards, you have to go inside to get receipts, the pumps don't print. The food is always dried out at the laredo taco company. The advertised drinks are usually not in stock. I was spending $40 or more DAILY, on fuel, food, etc. As big as the store is you would think that they would fix it

Gas station is very clean, busy and a nice place. The taco company employees is what brings this establishment down. By far this is one of the worst LTC's to get your morning grub at. The employees are short with the taco filling, rude, act like they don't want to be there, and slow as hell! Get your gas and drinks but don't waste your time at the food bar.

Last night around the 10pm I went in to buy 2 Red Bull’s and a cup of ice. The lady wanted to charge me 2.15 for the cup of Ice n I said no thanks that’s more money then buying the whole ice bag! Well instead of doing her job and selling the cup of ice at the price of a cup of ice she tried to sell it as a drink, when I said nevermind, she grabbed the cup of ice dumped it on the sink and threw away the cup. That right there was disrespectful, and rude. How would u rather throw it away instead of to selling it at the regular price an ice cup sells for and keep the customer, I will not be going back

I'm a regular at this stripes location mainly because they are one of the only two stations in town that carry Diet Mountain Dew in their fountain machines. I basically go there at least once a day to get a refill and occasionally get food or snacks. Today I went to get my refill and the machine was down. I asked them about it and they said it was being cleaned. After a brief conversation Samantha turned it back on to let me get a drink and that was a pretty big deal for me. It's the little things that matter most sometimes.

I dont know why this place is open! Fountain drink station has many options but only a few work. Breakfast looked like it was sitting under the sun for days. Kitchen looked as clean as the restroom and id rather use a porter potty. Cashier was nice but everyone else looked like death and attitudes where horrible.

Convenience store with convenience store prices. The store is clean and so are the rest rooms. Get your drinks and gas in a hurry. The tacos are not so great. The flour tortillas are always hard and never fresh. Someone needs to tell these folks that the key to good breakfast tacos is soft, warm and fresh flour tortillas. The fillings are bland and rubbery like they've been sitting under heat lamps for hours. The fixings bar is nice and has a variety of salsas and veggies to go on your tacos, unfortunately this store doesn't seem to keep up with it during the day and empty containers are not uncommon. The other food in the store is hit and miss. Food from the hot box might be fresh or it may have been sitting under the heat lamps for hours, eat the chicken nuggets at your own risk. Same with the hot dogs, maybe they are fresh or maybe they are shriveled tubes of meat spinning under a heat lamp. A little bit of oversight would go a long way for the food service. Overall the store isn't bad, just stay away from the hot food.

Fellow trucker here who has pulled in quite a few times. Don't stop and eat there. It seems the dining area is consistently hot and they are always out of stock on fountain drinks.

Husband is a truck driver and his ac went out in the truck. Pulled into the parking lot to fix it and we have our dog with us, its 102 outside so it's even hotter for a black dog. Husband asked if I could take the dog inside and sit and wait for him to finish fixing the ac and got told no! Hope my dog don't die out here or else they're gonna be in big trouble! Glad I got plenty of water for him.

I like coming here I stayed in the yonder Inn for about a month and would go over after work for some food and stuff usually late at night. The overnight crew was always nice and the store is almost always clean or being cleaned

There are about two or three employees here that are polite and respectful. The others seem like they are stuck on themselves and their own misery of working there. I feel for those who try to give their customers the most positive experience.

Stopped to get gas and tacos, not busy at all ordered 2 potatoe and egg with a strip of bacon, left went to eat tacos and all I see is potatoes and chunks of bacon. Really it's not rocket science to make a taco you can't read P.E. BAC

I come here every morning to get tacos around 530am and the service is always terrible. They’re never prepared to work or something. Main stripes on a highway never have good service.

Pulled over at a truck stop to rest forgot to turn my lights off like an idiot Truck wouldn't start and I was begging the staff to help me out and was told sorry sir I have jumper cables but I won't help you I offered her money still no help what kind of gas station or truckstop first doesn't sell a jumper box or jumper cables I would highly recommend going somewhere else because even if it's your last resort your screwed whatever happened to small-town values this place does not have them
