We just moved to town and stopped in. We were a little lost but the lady at the front asked us if we would like food and directed us. The two ladies in the back were pleasant and welcomed us to town. The sandwich, fruit salad and chicken salad were amazing! Thank you for the warm welcome.

This market has everything. You have to order their chicken salad to goIt is good for over 7 day's. We bought a quart of it. Delicious. Their meat is all wonderful.

A real hidden gem. Elders took me back in memory lane to the 60s and 70s meat market/BBQ restaurant Era. Outstanding beef brisket that is reasonably priced!

This place has the best BBQ place ever. I honestly will not eat BBQ unless it is from Elder's. Their chopped BBQ sandwiches are so good. I could eat them forever! We have been going here for years. My Grandmother loved this place so much she would treat us. The staff and owners are so friendly and professional. It's good you can have a laugh with someone just to make their day.. I have always made conversations and had laughs with one of the ladies that cooks. I don't know her name but she is just a sweetheart. We need more people like her. Her personality just melts my heart.

Absolutely fantastic doesn't even come close to describing my experience today. The liver and onions were delicious and so tender. The CFS, mashed potatoes and gravy were awesome and the king ranch chicken was delicious. I also bought some Boudain which is awesome!I will be back and soon!

Excellent store. The owners are extremely accommodating and run a great operation. Hard to find places like these now days. I would definitely recommend everyone to try out the country store meat market and the restaurant.

Got 2 great sliced brisket sandwiches. Also bought a lamb shoulder at $3.69 per pound ! Unheard of these inflationary days. I'm going to veer off Interstate 37 every chance I get now.

I lived and worked in Beeville and also worked with the wife of one of the owners and let me tell you these people are the nices and fast when fixing lunch plates. The bbq is melt in your mouth good. Wish it was up here in Minnesota. The people working there make you feel good and welcomed.

Love this place! Used to go an pick up cuts of meat with my dad and I will continue to do so as an adult. The food is always the best, the staff are always great and in good spirits.

Not the best bbq I've tasted.... brisket was ok pork ribs had no flavor..... when I asked for bbq sauce instead of giving it to me on the side they drenched my meat.... and by the way... did not like the sauce either

Jeanette, thanks for hosting our NAS Chase Field reunion lunch yesterday. We all had a wonderful time, the food was excellent, and we were very appreciative of all the 'extras' which were thrown in.
