My go to place when I don't feel like driving to Lowe's. This place has pretty much everything you may need for outdoor/indoor home projects.The main reason I shop here is because the great customer service. Never have I had to wait for help when I have a question and the guys who load in the garden section are amazing! They are always so friendly and helpful.The plant selection is also nice and they always have deals and certain ones.

I bought some chicken feed for my eight weeks old chicken and they will head mow and mildew and made my chicken sick. From now on I will purchase from tractor supply because Sutherlands poultry food isn’t fresh.

I was intentionally cheated out of merchandise I returned by that male assistant manager. I say intentionally because he counted the items himself. He first completed the transaction for correct amount then actually crossed it out and subtracted six items from my total returned items. He had been unpleasant with me before this occasion and the manager overheard and came over and corrected him. I failed to look at my receipt this time until I got home which I definitely fault myself for. When I returned for them to correct the error, he blatantly lied. Very disappointed with Sutherlands. Zero stars, two thumbs down.

We often frequent Sutherlands because it's close to home and many times has the best prices on what we need. Staff are friendly and the store has good selections.

Sutherlands is old school for real...my foreman loves this place (he's old school too). They're helpful when needed and out of the way otherwise. I can send my mom there and I know someone will help her load her car. They also have a senior citizens discount on Tuesday. Would be great if they had a more robust online presence so I could see what's in stock without having to call or take the trip over.

I went in for a few items was looking at vanity lights saw one on display for $79.99, looked on shelf price on shelf had $90.99, so called front the girl said whatever it has on shelf. I worked retail for a very long time if priced wrong that was retailers mistake, sold for tagged amount. Spent $108.20 , did not buy wrong priced vanity light! Bad service

Office Depot is a clean store with good customer service. My only complaint is the store on college Street does not seem to have set hours so you never know if you're making a trip there for nothing. For example today I called to verify the store hours and I was told on Sunday the store is open until 6:00pm I arrived 5:30 p.m. to pick up office supplies and the store was closed.

I really like the place. It is very well stocked, organized and the prices are highly competitive. Additionally, it is seldom crowded like some of the other "big box" stores that I frequent, and, they have a nice selection of work clothing as well.The only downside for some is if you dont really know about what you are looking for. There is not much in the way of customer service, at least not when I have been there. If you are a craftsman they will often have what you are looking for. At least that has been the case for me.

Had exactly what I needed, though of the employees I saw, i didn't see a single one wearing a mask. Guess they don't understand how carriers work, but the fact they have so little regard for their customers health and safety, and the fact I couldn't find a single employee that could help me with what I was looking for, lost them 3 stars.

Great place to get all my building needs and more. They have a great selection of cabinets, light fixtures, and furniture. They also have a friendly and knowledgeable staff that's ready to help. And Emily is the best she can help you with anything including designing the kitchen or bathroom of your dreams. Thank ya'll for everything y'all do for me, it definitely keeps me a loyal customer!

purchased fence dbl drive gate and got very nice person to help (Amber) I think was her name ,VERY helpful and courteous and knew her inventory well,lov shopping here ,may not have tons of choices of inventory as big box stores but I've found items I have needed at much better prices here.GREAT VALUE and great associates to help like Amber. Customer service is terrible. Went with my father to return an item and the manger Jerry was unprofessional and rude. He ignored my father and told him to find someone else to help him. My father is 74 and needs assistance. So when I went to ask another worker for help I was told the front was Jerry's station and he couldn't do anything to help my father. I will be calling cooperate and reporting the manager. I can't believe how rude and unprofessional he was especially to an elderly man.

As plumbing parts were unavailable in Houston, I drove to Beaumont on 2/20/2021. I tried various stores where the personnel were very friendly and helpful. However, when I reached Sutherland in the afternoon, I found the salesperson there to be very unhelpful and terse. A rare unpleasant experience to an otherwise, nice and fruitful trip. I will not recommend this store.

Good products and Inventory but,as usual,no floor help to be found when you need them. Store was so empty they could have turned red out the lights and no one would notice. Thank goodness M&D is right across the street.

So I would place Sutherlands somewhere between Ace and Home Depot as far as size but with home-ier feel. If you're looking for less people and a less mainstream type product this is probably your place. The staff is friendly and they have a fair variety of products.

There is no one more helpful in the golden triangle area than Emily at sutherlands. She has all the answers to my questions and has helped me rebuild 3 times. If she doesn’t have it she will find it and order it for me. The store would not be the same without her.

Great prices,,, customer service was terrific ! Paint machine went down and I ask if I could leave my number so that as soon as they got it going please call me.... They returned my call before I left town... I was very satisfied with the ladies that handled it for me...And,,,, the Paint color was Spot On !! All my products have been great quality...

Terrible I went to the garden section couldn't get in from out side. No cashier no help with finding items, they just point and stay behind the desk , so lazy management will not help cashier, long lines checking out.

You have many great people in your Beaumont store. I have purchsed 30-40 thousand dolars of products annually for over 20 years. With new management, my10% discount was removed and your store will no longer be my primary supplier.

I came in one day and I didn't get any service no greeting or anything I came in the next day and I was told to go all the way down to look for what I needed with a finger point however a young man named Kenneth came up greeted and met me gave me everything I needed there and made me feel really special I spent $2,000 and something dollars thank you Kenneth your service can sell just because of the kind heart you have I'll be back soon I'm not through building I'll be looking for you Kenneth thanks for your service

I seen them firing new people ,they didn’t even give them a warning they at least should of called them to fire them. Instead of making them waste gas ,some workers just walk around doing nothing im never going there again!😤

I recommend Sutherlands over all the other "home improvement" stores in Beaumont. They have good service and their prices are usually competitive with anyone else in town. I've gone to other stores and as soon as I checked out I was on my own. At Sutherlands they will help you out to the car and load your materials for you. The management there is great and always helpful to anyone looking for something. If you are looking for good service and great prices I recommend you try Sutherlands first. If they don't have it they can either get it or send you to someone who can.

Not safe. Nice employees but they wear masks below their nose or around their neck. "as summer temperatures have scorched the U.S. — and, let’s face it, some social distancing fatigue has set in as the pandemic continues — health officials have had to remind people that pulling their masks down below their noses or their chins renders the mask basically useless."

Poor service. High prices. No more military discounts -or any other discounts for that matter. No more price matching. Took an hour to get 8 pieces of lumber and 2 pallets loaded. New owners have something to learn about business and competition if they want to stay in business. Won't go back ever. Sad. This one will probably go out of business soon like the one in Port Arthur did.
