My baby got his first haircut, and I can tell that he cried the whole time. I specifically stated that if he did not do well, just stop. And I would pick him up, as is. That didn't happen, and his haircut was horrible. I would never bring him back to Petco.

They do not allow dogs in the grooming salon who take medication. No anxiety meds, seizure meds, diabetic meds etc. none whatsoever. Very disappointing. This “no medicated dog” rule should be made more obvious. Shops also quite dirty and the dog already being groomed was very stressed. I do not recommend.

Gillian was very good with explaining things to my husband and they also called me at home to make sure my toy poodle was just the way I wanted! She looked so beautiful and I was very happy with how Gillian explained to us how she behaves and what we hope to improve on in the future!

I have been a customer for over 3 yrs. And never had a problem. Until today. I really needed to drop my dog off early because I had to have some blood work done . They said it was to early and could not drop her off that early. I explained it was never a problem before. She went and got someone else who came out with an attitude and explained and I said I understood just never knew the policy. She said if you would just be quiet I have explained. And I would have to reschedule. I said fine but please stop being rude. She than got up and got the manager. I told her the same thing and she never had a problem. But she needs to have a discussion with the employee. The do not wear name tags so I don't know her name. I told her from now on do not try to over talk a customer and please treat them with respect. I called corporate and filed a compliant. Heather is great. But she is on leave. And she won't be back for a while. I am just upset to be treated like I was the bad guy.

My Standard Goldendoodle 8 month old puppy was brought in by my sister. His grooming began at 0900. By 0904, I received a text saying his appointment was cancelled. He has terrible anxiety. We informed the lady that he has anxiety and does not trust everyone. He will not let you just grab him and start the grooming. He has to warm up to you, get to know you. Instead this person grabs him and he snapped back in self defense. The lady immediately cancels the appointment. No grooming. I recommend a more experienced, preferably primarily grooming/boarding for your fur babies.

I've now used 2 different groomers at Petco and the results for my mini schnauzer have been awesome. They really listen to your preferences. Example: My little boy needs his belly/private area cut very close and they always remember to not let that hair grow too long. Other groomers never get that right.

Gillian, our favorite groomer, always does an amazing job. I can tell she really cares about my dogs and she is so accommodating. We are so grateful for her!

I gave the location to stars because the staff was friendly but after picking up my dog I noticed his ears we're not clean and his nails were not cut. It makes me wonder what other services we're not performed that I'd pay for. The other Petco locations I had been to for grooming typically takes 3 to 4 hours and this location only took two I thought it was suspiciously fast but didn't think much into it until I got home and realized why.

Taylor, who groomed my dog, made her comfortable with him. This is my first time at a groomers and I was anxious about it. After seeing TAylor with penelope for a few seconds, I knew she was in good hands.

My dog’s nails were still very long and I’m not sure if it was cut. I waited too long to pick up my dog as he’s not done yet even after 2 hours for a small dog. His cut isn’t appealing. He was shaved off despite the fact that he’s not matted.
