Our experience was extremely terrible here at this location. As a district manager of a hotel chain here in Beaumont, I would never allow my General Manager to speak to any customer the way your GM spoke to me in regards to my 16 year old purchasing a .29 cent gold fish and some snails.

The store is always very clean and orderly. I can always find the products I'm looking for easily. There is one guy there that is very knowledgeable about cats and he actually introduced me to the wholehearted product line for my own cats. I'm sorry I cannot remember his name but he's very helpful. Tina works at the front at the checkout and she's always amazing. I've never seen her have a bad day

Went on my lunch break to check out some fish at Petco when I get there I stand the wait a few minutes then kinda look around and then I asked a associate if they can help me she said yeah wait a minute and it’s two of them and then the next thing I know They’re in a corner talking to a guy who’s actually not buying anything. I thought that was very rude, not my business.

My dog "Kam" visits Petco every two weeks to get a bath and nail trim. Kam is 7 Years old now and has been in there care from birth and I have Yet to have a complaint to address because they are Very consistent at their jobs and that means a lot to both Me and Kam.

We went in and got a Gerbil for a classroom pet. The staff was so nice and helpful with locating all the things I would need for him. The staff was super knowledgeable and as I have never owned one before the staff member took the time to teach me how to pick him up and hold him so I would not risk hurting him. She also showed me what NOT to feed him as they require a higher protein diet than most small pets. I am truly thankful. My class loves him. His name is Hermes.

We live about 35 minutes away and it takes a lot to get our severely anxious dog ready to go to the groomer. I’ve had nothing but great experiences until Saturday 3/9/24 when my husband took her and our puppy to get groomed. The girl at the counter argued with him about our shot records being expired when they were merely 4 months old. My husband called our vet to verify the shot records, to which they offered for her to call and verify them directly with them but she refused to seek resolution by stating she was not allowed to call and verify info. Furthermore, the employee cancelled both appointments because we gave them CBD treats which were sold to us THROUGH Petco and argued that this was “not the salons problem.” She lied to her manager about my husband having an attitude when he simply asked about this policy that was not told to us prior to giving them the CBD treats that THEY sold us. We are not upset about this policy, but you cannot expect someone to know this if the policy is not posted somewhere. We will not be doing business at this location because if her attitude shows anything about who she is, then there is no telling how she might behave towards your pets.

I have been coming here for grooming for years and idk why because the customer service always sucks! The girls there always have entitled attitudes and they are unprofessional. They do not answer the calls or return voicemails and are extremely rude! I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The way this store treats Betta fish is atrocious. One was so sick that it was only able to swim vertically or upside down, and its water was very dirty. I brought it to an employee and asked if it could be surrendered. She told me she can't do that but buys the sick fish, takes them home and treats them before bring them back to the store to sell. If she really did all this for fish, I have to wonder why the fish was allowed to sit in such filthy water and develop such severe symptoms. She also thought the fish had dropsy. Dropsy would involve the fish bloating severely and its scales sticking out like a pinecone. It clearly had swim bladder symptoms.Please do not buy Betta fish from the store and go to a store that specializes in fish and cares for them appropriately. If Petco cannot properly care for Bettas and is not willing to surrender severely sick ones, they should not sell them

Has the dog food I need, but lacks employees. There's been 2 or 3 times I needed a price, there's not scanners or workers to help. Waiting in line takes forever just for a price check.

I would have given a 5 except for the online snafu.I went to petco's website and it said the aquarium tank I wanted was out of stock.My tank was leaking so I needed a new one immediately.I went in to buy one and it turned out they did have the one I wanted in stock afterall.The person who helped me was great.He got it for me quickly and carried it to my car.

My Weimaraner has never been in a store before this one. The atmosphere was calm and he was very relaxed. There wasn't loud noises nor music, that could upset a pup. He walked around sniffing and taking in all of the awesome smells. I love that the treats were down on his level, he chose what he wanted, changed his mind, and picked out something else. He was overwhelmed with excitement. The store is always very clean, and everything is in its place with a price tag.

5 out of 5!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(10 stars if I could!!!)the best store you can go to!!! they know they're stuff and take time out of they're day to to make sure I am as set as my pet it. i came in with a rescued animal I had no idea what to do. i rescued a red-eyed crocodile skink and have bever had a lizard before in my life. i showed up calling ahead and they were there ready to assist. they helped me bring in his tank and everything I needed for him and made sure he was safe. they helped,me get food while another inspected the tank and materials in the tank for me. the manager Mrs. Stacy and sales associate Mrs. jetta took care of me. anything they didnt know off hand they pulled up information online or did research before i ever left the store. from the first phone call letting them know, to gretting me at the door, to showing me what this lizard is, to products I only needed, to finalizing everything, to making sure I get the rewards I needed, to walking me out to make sure I had all my questions to concerns answered, and the wave good bye was the best experiance I ever had. they even looked over the lizard and made sure he didnt need to go to the vet down the road, which they afford to call if needed for me. the lizard was healthy and fine, he had and got everything he needed. im truely grateful for the amazing store and company of petco. this is why i only use petco and only this store. they are amazing. thank you Mrs. Stacy and Mrs. Jetta, you both are amazing. everyone needs to go see them, thes amazing ladies if you need anything, and the amazing store. i cant say enough about how amazing my experiance was and I will be back in a few days and will only go to this store and this company. thank you very much petco and the tow amazing ladies at this store. oh and the lizard is doing amazing and he has a new name, smog. thank you very much!!!

The cashiers have always been friendly to me however I decided to try grooming services with petco. I called and made my appointment and the lady was super nice in the phone. I was nervous about letting a stranger take care of my dogs. I walk in for their appointment and the moment I walk in to the grooming dept. The lady there is rude and short with me. I just turned and walked out. Will not be using their grooming services.
