The employee that I assumed was the manager was very rude and nasty. She was upset that she had to break a $20 bill for a purchase under $5. She was rooms in agitated because she had to make change. I would never set foot in this Dollar general again with such nasty attitudes. If I got to get such horrible customer service to save a buck, then I'd rather pay more somewhere else for better customer service.

The store was clean and had a good layout. It seems as if the inventory doesn't get placed in the shelves often. The last few visits there were boxes of inventory in some isles making for some clutter. Overall the service is great and you can find most of the items you need at an inexpensive price.

The most amazing staff I have ever encountered. After being dropped off at train station. I went to purchase food for travel. The beautiful lady Jan of Jan's antique was nice enough to help. I was couple dollars short & Larry the cashier was an angel to insist he would cover the difference.

I love my local $ General. Great management that goes the extra mile to please their customers. They are quick to recognize you on your second visit! Knowledgeable as to products and where they are located. Very clean, professional and extremely friendly. :)

Always found what I needed AND some yes this store put a smile on my face because I walk in and it was just an instant relief after I got there I always come across something on clearance I wanted or needed and the cashier always greets and makes you have what you need stocked pretty well bathroom is clean I love it

Worst Dollar General store ever! It's super filthy and rude people work there. I was traveling from Houston to New Orleans, so we stopped there since it was just off the interstate. We needed toiletries and treats for our pets while on the trip. As soon as we got inside the store the cashier yelled at me about my backpack. I didn't think she was talking to me so I continued walking in but she just started yelling so I walk up to her to see what the deal is. She tells me that I HAVE to leave my backpack at the filthy floor. Mind you I'm traveling so I have important documents and all my cash in the backpack. So I tell her that I will not be leaving my backpack there. I leave to the car and leave it there. As I walk back there is a group of three employees and a few customers talking about us. All I heard was that thief wear backpacks. (Haha) I was appalled, since I have worked in loss prevention, believe me thieves don't need a backpack. But the nerve of the accusation! What this store should concentrate on is making sure aisles are uncluttered and emergency exits aren't blocked with carts that need to be unloaded! I wonder what would happen to this store if OSHA would walk into this store. There is so many safety violations that need to be taken care of instead of employees standing around and gossiping and harassing customers.

The place is not very neat or organized. In some isle items are just thrown anywhere. Often unstocked items make it hard to maneuver down isles. This would be a better store if they cared about the appearance of the inside.

Very long line. Manager refuses to help check customers out. Another customer telling manager how good she look while she was putting up merchandise, maybe that's why she didn't help check customers out.

I love the coupons and the digital coupons I can get on my phone to get things done with cheaper like the gain productsthe little things you put in your washing machine to make your clothes smell good for like for $5 depending on where you get them with my digital coupon today and I only paid 195 now you know that's a deal

I had no problem finding what I needed and the clerks were very nice. There is not alot of parking, but other than than, my experience was pleasant.

The music that was playing by the employee and obscene and profane. When I ask the clerk if there was a anothe kind of music she replied "Im suppose to off, so they dont care was I listen to". Really?!? So bascily she just told me she dont care what I thought as a custmer. Did not appreciate the attitude...

Wonderful sale ongoing. Small bottles of Dawn were .37, plug-ins were 2 for $5 with a 4-pack. These normally run upwards of $5 apiece. Great sale.

Typical DG, The aisles are always too cluttered to walk through comfortably, as if they are supposed to stock the shelves but they do not. This is true for any DG location.

As most problems with the Dollar General franchises items come in left and boxes unable to put on shelves due to either the lack of workers the want to or the space it's hard to navigate through this store customer service not bad lady was very helpful in helping me find the items needed

The Dollar General off 1442 is the cleanest and friendly employees. The Dollar General on 11th street in Beaumont is the most dirtiest place I have ever seen. The Dollar General in buna has the rudest employees
