I went in the grooming area just for a nail trim. They fit me right in.I ended up getting my furbaby washed and nail trim.Harlee was my furbaby groomer and she was awesome!Thank you Harlee!

Very short staffed. Waited about 15 mins for someone to assist on the floor even after asking the cashier to call for someone. I ended up leaving. I dont know why but this specific location is always short handed.

Went for a grooming appointment yesterday for my baby girl. I don’t like dropping her off anywhere. But she needed a grooming so bad. I felt comfortable leaving my Mia with April... I never am satisfied with my groomings for her and I don’t complain, but yesterday I was beyond satisfied. Mia did so good. The guy who helped me check out yesterday was so kind to help with my transaction questions. But overall I was so impressed with how April did with her... considering taking my other 2 to her.

My Jack Russell Lexi has a bad hip and carries her back leg. Baytown store is refusing to groom her and I totally understand that. The problem is now they are refusing cut her nails even though they have been doing that for several years without any trouble at all and her hip has been bad way before that. I’m not a happy customer! Let me change that to NOT A CUSTOMER ANYMORE! Thank you Petsmart

We went today to buy a ball python. A lot of the workers refused to even touch the snake and one of the ladies said she didn’t “feel” as if we were responsible enough. She refused to let us buy it because of her feelings. I feel like that’s weird.

I take my dog here to get groomed. The staff is friendly and kind. They are super patient with my chicken hearted dog who hates the dryer.Update: I couldn't do this when it happened due to my sorrow, but...I had to put my poor dog down in April (due her health progressively getting worse) and towards the end of May the associates at Petsmart called to check on her as I had not taken her in for a groom in about 2 months (I usually took her in every 6 weeks or so). I had to tell them about my dog's passing, and they were sweet and kind. I appreciated that they were concerned about my dog and had called to check on her.Ps: The picture is from Easter of 2022, taken at Petsmart

Petsmart has been a favorite store for my animals. Yes I take them with me at times so they can pick out their own toys. They have a very good selection for food, treats, toys, and everyday items that our 4 legged members of the family need and want. I don’t own fish birds or reptiles but I have talked with others in the store and they do recommend Petsmart for those animals also.

I came into petsmart today after my visit to petco. Petco gave my dog what they called a hair cut and messed him up pretty bad. Immediately when I walked into petsmart I was more satisfied than I was with petco and I hadn’t even talked to anyone yet…I asked to speak with a manager and didn’t have to wait long at all, she was very professional and very nice. Petco is a joke compared to petsmart. They were nicer the store was cleaner and there were more options not only with grooming but product wise as well. I will be switching my dog to petsmart and I am going to recommend petsmart to everyone I talk to. They were so extremely nice and I’m surprised they don’t have higher reviews

Love this store to go look at the reptiles and animals but can’t seem to take none homeThey require a picture of a tank before you can purchase and when you do show a picture they try to upsell you one of their enclosure kits.I just went to another pet smart and got my crested gecko there and no one tried pushing a whole enclosure that I already have.

This place is better than petco down the road but only marginally. If you want fish though just find a dedicated fish store, there's a few good ones around here, namely Pasadena and Pearland.Upon waiting for a while for some help and finally finding someone, I asked for 6 corys as well as 2 angels. The employee informed me that they will not offer a guarantee on tropical fish when more than 6 are purchased at once.I don't really believe in warrantying a fish so that didn't matter but after telling me that, she whispered something in her radio and then asked what size tank I actually have. I assured her I have more than enough space for them but she acted like she didn't even want to sell me that many.Keep in mind that corys are a very social schooling fish with 6 being the minimum that should even be kept together. I guess petsmart would rather sell them one at a time so they can live lonely lives rather than in groups where they can be social.No pet store should have inexperienced people selling fish. Find someone with a passion or at least a working knowledge. I won't be going back.

To the groomersI have taken my 8 months old puppy there a few times already...las one was 3 months ago..they asked me for his rabies vaccination and they confirmed he had it. So they did the premium on him.Today I took him to his appointment just to find out they don't have a record in their computer or their papers of his last visit wich I do have including the RECIPT. And they didn't want to take him. I'm not taking him back to them again!!!

I was tardy picking up my fur baby but the groomer was awesome! She even took my dog out for a walk while I checked out because I had deleted the app through which so usually paid and set appts. when cleaning up my phone, duh… Thank you, Crystal!!!

My puppy Roy went to go get groomed yesterday Monday August 14th he was not supposed to get his toe nails clipped his groomer was Alexis she told my husband Roy try to bite her my puppy is not aggressive unless you hurting him I see why he try to bite her because she clipped him by doing his toenails we take him to the Vet for that so I am highly upset Roy has been going there since he was a baby I don't appreciate that please be mindful if we ask you just for grooming nothing else please don't do nothing else I will be calling the store tomorrow he having a hard with him climbing on on the couch we have never had this problem before ..

I never had an issue with my dog groomer/grooming until yesterday. Apparently my dog groomer had my dog scheduled for 8am as an express and another dog scheduled for another express at 8:30. Instead of informing me that she was unable to provide the service to my dog she passes him off to a newbie, then completes all the other services I requested, calls me after that was done and tells me that they were unable to perform my dogs cut safely. Not to mention that I would have to bring him back on another day and pay another express fee and select another package and I would have to pay $75 for the services he received today. The last time his groomer was double booked for an express they called me and ask me if I wanted to reschedule. This time I don’t know what made her think that it was ok to pass off my pup to someone else and now I have to spend extra money because they could not follow through. The lead had an attitude and was very unprofessional about the situation. We have been going to Petsmart since we got Milo over a year ago. Milo will not be returning to Petsmart moving forward. They have definitely lost a loyal customer! Every time Milo go to get a groom I spend over a $100 dollars. I will be looking for someone who cares for and values my Milo. I do not recommend.

I was a regular Petco shopper until I tried petsmart where people are super friendly and listen to me everytime I have questions or concerns with my pets Miss Vanessa has taken the time to help me and even research products that I was looking for my pets, her friendliness and top noch professionalism has been impressive, she does not always have the answers but she makes sure to get them, always have a friendly smile and always willing to help, she is definitely a very important asset to this institution and definitely makes petsmart a better store.. for all you do to help all your customers, thank you Miss Vanessa and will keep going back to supply all my pets needs ...

We will use a different grooming shop from now on. Groomer will cancel the night before scheduled appt with no reason given. No apology just to bad reschedule. We will reschedule elsewhere with a more customer friendly groomer that can do more than haircuts only!
